Crossing into Chaos by Emeral_eyes    (Reviews - 512)

*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).

Well here is my review of your story so far....the character development have been so well linked to Harry Potter that i am impressed....a little secret i actually read your story before i knew abt HYD, and i loved your story it was thought provoking, funny when needed it to be and very easy to imagine that this all could be true if DH had never happened... i for one loved Meteor Garden which is the Taiwanese version of HYD becuz i though the guy was a much better acter than the Japanese guy.... i even checked your livejournal... i too live near toronto and the allure of designer wares are hard to resist but im sure you are coping in your new appartment... hats off to you...!!! i recommend seeing Soulmates the best drama so far...

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words. When I was first watching HYD, I couldn\'t believe just how much it seemed like the two main characters just walked out of a D/G fic, which made my brain start spinning to figure out how I could WRITE that fic, and what it would take to make it work, which is how I ended up with this current, completely twisted incarnation of JKR\'s world.

It was heart wrenchingly beautiful and i loved the fact that after the incident Lucius cannot seem to look at the photographs of Ginny anymore until he sees them on the Draco's desk. I know you have left the last part for interpretation, but i think the story should be more devastating if Draco became everything his father did not want him to be.

Author's Response: Well thank you for your review and your input, I agree that it would make it so much worse for Lucius if that were the case but I never took it that far. Instead I left it so that the reader has no more indication of what happened than Lucius does, which is why it is so much more upsetting for him. He doesn't know what happened. I have a feeling that Narcissa does though from the way she addresses and blames him with such venom and hatred. Narcissa knows and hates her husband for it. Perhaps what you can figure out from what she said in the story what happened to Draco. It's in there and I'd like to think well hidden concerning how little she speaks. Once again thank you for your review!

“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”

When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.

I just wanted to say this story is very good, it has the right elements to keep me hooked.
I for one love anything with blueberry so i was definitely loving that and I love tulips..so I am on Team Draco for sure.

Furthermore, I can't wait to read why Draco and Ginny's relationship deteriorated. Also, I am dying to see where you take the next generation with your story, it would be cool if Scorpius ended up with Lily, since his dad didn't get Ginny in the end. It would be like fate giving them a chance to be in laws which would be hilarious!
Keep updating...lolz

Author's Response: Ginny and Draco in laws when Harry knows they had the hots for each other would be very funny. We'll see! Thanks for your review, I love blueberries and tulips too. ;)

Its just so interesting that history is repeating itself. I have a problem though i can't wrap around the idea of a Ginny who is perpetually crying all the time. Thats not the Ginny Weasley I know and love. I want to know why Draco and Ginny actually broke up because that is killing me as I think that both of them are still in love with each other and can't do anything as they have family obligations. I don't hate Harry as I feel his feelings are real and genuine, if i was in his place I would be doing the same thing. However, I love the D/G pairing as that is the real truth and nothing else.

Author's Response: Yeah she is perpetually in tears, and there is a reason and I'm sorry that its killing you not to know but it will come up soon. The interesting part is Draco's pov in the next chapter because the reason is bothering him too. Can't say more than that but I'll try to update as soon as possible! Thanks so much for your review!

First of all I am glad that you didn't make this predictable. It's not Harry's fault or Draco or Ginny it is the circumstances that they live in is creating all the drama. On top of this all add the children who have fallen in love with each other. Sometimes all you need is closure and since no one got it, they all are stuck in a limbo. Love how you are writing this and I hope that the end of the story is everything that I hope but unexpect, I know this is a contradictory statement but this is the reaction I get when I read your story. Can't wait read the next part!

Author's Response: Why thank you! I'm so glad to hear that it's unexpected but I do hope to meet your expectations at the same time! Hope you like the rest, it'll be out soon!
