In a world where Death Eaters reign and good wizards hide in plain sight, preconceived notions must be redefined. AU for post-Hogwarts setting. WARNING: Allusion to H/Hr since I posted this at Portkey. Please don't bludgeon me; I almost did it myself.Category: Works in Progress
Are you going to finish this story? It would be a shame to leave it perpetually unfinished, it's so good. I've been reading your works for some years now, and they are among my favourites.
It is 2010, 12 years after Voldemort's downfall, and Draco Malfoy has returned to England at long last. A Draco/Ginny story.Category: Long and Completed
I remember reading this ages ago, and I loved it then. I loved the storyline and I thought you portrayed the characters really well. In fact I was really hoping I'd find this again, I loved it so much!
Snape remembers.Category: Completed Short Stories
I read this story a long time ago, and loved it then, I still love it now. The parallels you draw are wonderful.
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
Yay! I'm very happy with this chapter, I have to say. I would have been heartbroken if Ginny hadn't been able to throw off the effects of the potion.
Author's Response: I'm so happy you liked it! I do hope that I at least gave you a good scare. :)
This has got to be the most rewarding story I've ever read. Parts of it were tough to get through emotionally, but for the parts that are happy, the tough parts are all the more worth it. Please let there be a happy ending though!
Author's Response: Thank you! I have a tough time reading stories that are continuous angst, and as I was writing, I felt I needed to break it up with giving some reasons why our characters want to carry on. Part of the reason the story took so long at times was because it was emotionally draining to write some chapters that I had to step away and give myself a break. It's definitely an emotional roller coaster. :)
“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
I am very much looking forward to seeing how things work out!
Author's Response: Thank you. I hope the ending doesn't disappoint :)
At the age of 10, Ginny was selected to attend a very elite, all-witches school. When she finishes, Voldemort has been defeated but his followers have overtaken the Ministry. Instead of getting the job she was promised, she is forced into marriage.Category: Works in Progress
I've only just found this, but I'm loving it! I'm liking the not happy, but willing to try Draco, and your Ginny is great, still herself despite events. I also like the idea of the 'amicable' arranged marriage, (or at least as amicable as making it a law can be) ;)
I hope you update soon! I can't wait to see them get to know each other better.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad someone likes my Draco, I'm still desperately trying to shape his character right now and I've re-written so many parts trying to get his character where I want it to be.
With the war raging around them, Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy find peace and much more whilst living in the Safe House.Category: Long and Completed
I say vial, shmial. Maybe the ritual wasn't actually binding, but they went through it anyway because they were in love, and have been living as if it was because they believed it was. And I love George by the way, he'll at least be a voice of reason here, and that will go a long way.
Author's Response: This made me giggle! Vial, shmial indeed! And who knows, maybe you are right about the ceremony. I guess I know actually:) Anyway, so glad you are loving George. He was kind of a surprise. I didn't think he would take on such a pivotal part when I started this fic. And you are right. He's is defintely the voice of reason within the Weasley clan. Thanks so much for the review!
Don't give up! It's a really good story, and I'd love to see where you take it. I like that there's some unanswered questions, like I'm not really sure if Snape is actually dead, or if he's just been unable to take the risk in coming there. I'd also like to see what happens with Harry when they do get out, since he seems to have a vendetta against Draco. I'd like to see him get a comeuppance for being a jerk.
Author's Response: Thank you! And thanks for the compliment :) The more that I have worked on this fic, the harder it has been to finish it. I've tried to leave some unanswered questions and a little bit of mystery, so I'm glad that you are picking up on that and that you like it. And as for Harry, we will definitely get to see much more of him. Thank you again! I love your comments so please keep them coming!
Ooh! I'm loving the developments! You give us just enough to make us curious for more, and I think it's brilliant! Good job!
Author's Response: Yay! I'm so glad. There is so much to happen still, and it's good to know that it is still interesting as the outside world enters in. Thank you so much for the review!
I am on pins and needles for the next part!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! And yay for pins and needles - cuz that means you are enjoying it, right? :) Updates should be weekly from here on out. Thanks again!
I sit on pins and needles everytime I log in to see if there's been an update. I'm never disappointed when there is one. Personally, I think you wrote Snape's death very well, it was fitting.
Author's Response: Yay! Thank you for the compliments. I hoped Snape's death was worthy of him. I do love him. Thanks for the review!
Augh! Why would you do that? It's so mean. But seriously, interesting plot development, I'm still curious about what really happened between Harry and Draco before he went into hiding. And I'm still waiting for Harry to get his commupence....
Author's Response: I know, it's not intentionally mean. I promise. But there has to be some consequences for choices made in the past. Well, that's cryptic, isn't it? Thanks for reviewing!
Yay! Thank you for this chapter!
Author's Response: You're welcome! I know it's been a bit rough the last few chapters. Thank you so much for all your reviews! I hope to post again by Friday. Looking forward to more of your thoughts! :)
Personally, I want Harry to have to take the veritaserum, but I can understand that it makes for a more involved story that they have to find another way. Very good chapter, I'm looking forward to the next one!
Author's Response: Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed this chapter, I worried that it was too much filler. Thanks so much for the review!
If there's not going to be a happy ending, I can't promise to keep reading. That may be the last 'real' scene, but that doesn't discount a happy reunion when the trial is over, right? I have been dying to know what happened b/w Draco and Harry since the beginning of the story, so I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for that.
Author's Response: Your threats will not make me reveal the ending! :) Only one more chappie. Come on, you can do it! Thanks so much for the review. I do hope you read the last chapter - I think you probably will - and I hope to read what you think of it!
I knew you'd pull a happy ending out of the hat. Congratulations! It's a wonderful complete story! I wouldn't say I was surprised about Harry's revelation, but it certainly works out the best way. And may I just say, I'm not sorry for him, one bit. Fantastic job!
Author's Response: Glad you had faith in me. If you've read my other fic, you would have to know that I love the happy ending regardless of how bleak it can seem. Love your thoughts on Harry. He has been the most polarizing character! Well, we must all love him on some level or we wouldn't be reading any of this. :) Thanks so much!
Many years ago, Draco Malfoy made a choice that led him very far away from Ginny Weasley, and the life that they might have shared. But not only is it hopeless to fight fate, its paths have a strange way of turning when you least expect them to, as a very unexpected person later learns...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter FOURTEEN Quote of the Day:
“It can’t be worse than going to Romania. James is getting worse by the day. Lily doesn’t care about anything but her broom. And Mum and Dad—“ Albus breaks off.
Ginny. Scorpius can feel his face stiffen, and he has to conjure a coughing fit to cover it. Incredible how simply hearing of her, not even hearing her name, is enough to cause that stab of feeling in him. Just when he thinks that he’s over that sort of thing entirely—
“The point is, I’m so glad I can go with you,” sighs Albus.
Maybe I ought to wish that you couldn’t, thinks Scorpius. For your own good.
I normally wait for completed stories before I read them, but something about this one called to me, and I'm really glad that I decided to start reading it.
I'm loving the feel that history is repeating itself in a weird twisted way here, and that the possibility of a happy ending is there, but it won't happen unless they really try for it. Whether there will be a happy ending though, I can't wait to find out.
Author's Response: Thanks! This story ends when Scorpius is 19 and has a defined number of events on the way, so it has a naturally short length, shall we say. ;) I do think that one of the central conflicts in this fic is the struggle between history repeating itself and all of the characters fighting desperately to keep that from simply happening, no matter how relentlessly events seem to conspire against them. They're all fighting for that happy ending, including some characters who haven't even really had their say yet. Only time will tell if they succeed. ;)
Nevermind cliffhangers, I'm just happy there's an update! I can't wait to see where you take it next.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) There's so much more coming in this fic... ;)
Draco Malfoy has proposed six times to Ginevra Weasley. How did it get to this, and what will happen the seventh time?Category: Long and Completed
Wonderful! It was heartbreaking, and happy. I loved it.
Author's Response: Awe, thank you! Yes, it was so sad most of the time, but I couldn't deny them their HEA. Thank you again!
Draco's failing at the mission given to him by the Dark Lord, his relationship with Pansy is strained, and Snape won't stop asking questions. He needs help desperately, but when he receives it, he's drawn into more intrigue than he bargained for. His saviour may need some saving herself.Category: Long and Completed
Ooh, yes, please a sequel! This was such a wonderful read, and I loved the idea Ginny's motives, and of Ginny being more to Draco than he was to her, at least at first. I'd love to see her realize that Harry's not who she needs.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I love a good damaged!Ginny story, although here the reader sees more the effect than the cause, and my usual headcanon is that he loves her first because let's face it, with his prickly exterior she's just more lovable initially ;) As to the sequel...have you been peeking ahead? *shoves Seekrit Sequel Notes into a drawer*
It has been over a year. The world has moved on around Ginny and it won't let Draco go.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is really good. It's not quite romance, but it's real. I'd love to see what happens on the beach in Goa, if you're planning on a follow up.
In which Dumbledore's incessant meddling pays off as Harry Potter finally gets a break and Draco Malfoy is screwed....sort of. Written for The DG Forum Fic Exchange - Spring 2010.Category: Works in Progress
Definitely interesting. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! ^_^
New Auror pairs must complete a most difficult task to prove that they know every detail about the other. Harry and Draco have been training partners for eight months now. They don't seem worried, however the two have obviously kept secrets, mostly pertaining to Ginny Weasley.Category: Works in Progress
I am intrigued, I do like the way it's starting out. More soon I hope!
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! Thanks!

I like it, I can't wait to read more!
