COMPLETE A week of detention bring Draco and Ginny closer together, and against all odds, an unlikely friendship emerges. But what will happen when their bond is tested and they both have to face the things they fear most? COMPLETECategory: Long and Completed
I like this story. I actually find myself identifying with Draco. I can't blame him for wanting to stay in Sicily and forget the world...except for her. I still want to see the look on Ron's face when he sees his sister is in love with Draco. (and Harry too for that matter. but I tend to think Ron will be more "demonstrative" in having a fit. Good work and keep writing Thanks for the fast update.
Wonderful chapter! So much going on and so well done. The heart to heart with Harry was entirely believable. Gee, I have been waiting for Ron's explosion for some time but he went farther then even I thought he would. Poor Molly, She must have been devestated when she found out that Ginny took the Get out Literally. She must have thought she lost her daughter again. (Honestly, So did I, I was suprised she wasn't half way back to Sicily by the time the Aurors came to the Mamor.) Maybe I am an optimist, but since Draco is after all innocent, perhaps his name will be cleared in the end. Should be quite the defense witness list thought, even including the boy who lived himself.
Difficult chapter to read. I hate it when things fall apart. the funerals are also going to be difficult too I am guessing. (Shakes head) Draco Draco Draco, now you've gone and done it. You have tried to let her go for your own "stupid noble reason" How can he be so stupid? Hes doing just what Potter did.
Best chapter yet. I like how they are growing up. I still hope they will be together. I know it won't be a hollywood ending but hopefully it won't be tragic. I had feared that Ginny would be put in the impossible position of picking between her family and Draco. It seems you fooled me again. (That's not a complaint)
Wow! I mean wow!, I am so happy that this a story of loved fullfilled and not love denied. Any doubts I had about this story, I humbly appoligize for. Strange I would have thought Molly would have come around before Mr. Weasley. No matter though regardless of how she feels about Draco, I am sure she is the doting Grandma to all those kids (even Paige, who is simply the cutest thing on the planet) So happy this ended well for Gin. I am wondering about Ron's reaction though. My great fear was that Gin would have to choose between her family an Draco and Ron seemed the most unforgiving going so far as to accuse her of killing her brothers by staying in hiding.
Ginny Weasley gets an unexpected visitor one night at her flat. *an outtake of Sailing the Dark Ship*Category: Completed Short Stories
This really does add quite a bit to your final chapter of "sailing the dark ship" I love your take on Arthur. I have always heard that Fathers and daughters had a special bond. The emotional high of the story was "I love you more" but I also liked the hint that Ron (rightly) feels terrible about the fight he had with Ginny. I will miss Ginny and Draco as you have protrayed them.
Ginny stays all night at Draco's for the first time. COMPLETE.Category: Completed Short Stories
huuummmmmmmm, I reread the last part of Sailing, Paige is 3 and a half here and around 4 years older than her sister. Prehaps staying the full night was reproductive.
Ginny Weasley is bound by a blood curse to marry Draco Malfoy and to live with him a year and a day. What happens when she finds him to be...not exactly the man she thought he was? Love, perhaps?Category: Works in Progress
"Then, he would suddenly remember how miserably he’d treated her and her friends at school all those years ago, and he’d experience a sudden hitch in his confidence…."...Hints of a regretful Malfoy perhaps? Marriage ceremonies are notoriously hard to write. How do yo keep them fresh? How do you meet expectations"when shippers have been playing out the moment in their heads? Intresting take on the elements. What does wind do to fire? Wind causes it to grow larger, hotter, and more dangerous.
I can't say much either except this story does belong here. People are going to like it. Heck, I even wrote a little fanfic of your fanfic. I sent it to you Did you get it? I am also known as EJAU on another site.
That list of points is interesting, Just how many of her "conditions" will be rescinded over the year if any? Course, Annie, you can guess how I feel about "I am not changing my name" P.S. Still waiting on your present to come back.
Ginny, Harry, and Draco have been leading separate lives for years, but then a disturbing case involving mind manipulation brings them all together. Rows break out, animosity and hatred grow, people die, and friendship is tested. In the midst of all that, is it possible for romance between two unlikely people to bloom?Category: Works in Progress
This chapter was a bit of a downer starting with a vicious attack and moving on to a Ginny who just seems miserable. She says she broke it off with Harry but clearly she hasn't. Whenever he needs her, she is there. Things can not stay as they are. Both Ginny and Harry are in emotional limbo. Perhaps someone will help Ginny move on and once she does maybe Harry will too (in a different direction of course)
I like Draco's self control in this chapter, Prison has ironically been good for him. He is also wquite observant to pick out Tonks. I wonder what the Spark will be for Ginny and Draco.
This fic has a genuine sense of mystery that is not in a lot of fics. I also like how there are hints of humor "That could be worse". Thers a bit of dread in reading about the attacks. I really like how discplined Draco is, possibly a side effect of his time in Azakaban. To stay sane, he had to really master his mind and emotions. Makes foor interesting toimes when, ahem, someone breaks through his walls.
