Thank you for another chapter so quickly. Although I will admit it has left me with a sour taste.

I am really disappointed in Draco right now. I would venture to say that I am rather disgusted with him. What a dog.

And poor Ginny carrying their child. I can't wait for the next chapter. This one had me frustrated. That's a good thing.

Author's Response: Thanks. I\'ve just submitted the actual end of the chapter, like, two minutes ago, which is chock-full of D/G (even though is short). I\'m going on vacation next week, but hopefully I\'ll be able to get some work done :)

I've been following this story from the start. The first few set-up chapters were pretty long but not as exciting/interesting as the current chapters. I hope the next chapter is longer as it looks like you're setting up for some drama and adventures. Can't wait.

This chapter made me sad for both Scorpius and Draco. Please update soon I want to see where this story goes.

Author's Response: Hm, you\'re unlike the previous reviewer, who felt worst for Ginny. It\'s great that you\'re able to sympathize with Draco, though, because at this point he\'s still such a villain, but that will (very) slightly change.

Wow. Ginny is pretty harsh to poor Scorpius. I mean he was nine. What expectations she had for a child. Right about now I'm feeling like maybe Scorpius is better off without her. She seems to be projecting all of her problems with Draco on him. Scorpius may be realising his follly but I hope Ginny will as well.

Author's Response: Ouch! While I agree with you to an extent, I think that's a little harsh--besides, if not Ginny, who does Scorpius have? Also, you're right, Scorpius was nine. Is that too young to distinguish wrong from right? I don't think so. I think Scorpius was very carried away with how glamorous Draco is, and he sided with his father despite what was essentially Draco's verbal abuse of Ginny. Moreover, Ginny was the only parent, and the only friend, Scorpius had known for years. I personally think he should have been at least indignant on her behalf, but he was more embarrassed by her than anything else. As for your other point about her projecting her problems with Draco onto him. Um, spot on. That's pretty much what this entire fic is about--it's from Scorpius' point of view, but nearly all of his problems are caused by the fact that Draco and Ginny are in love but can't get their act together, and put Scorpius right in the middle of it. So, yeah. There'll be more of that.

I loved this story. Sorry I never reviewed earlier. Does the last line mean there will be a sequel? That would be my 7th wish.

That was a sweet chapter. As sweet as Ginny's slightly sloppy-looking birthday cake.
Does this mean the D/G interactions will become more involved?

I like that we're beginning the story from Astoria's POV and that we already know (hope) she's going to have to learn to deal with D/G getting back together. She sounds like she's already used to Draco not being close eith her.

I like your one shots and I can't wait to see where you take us eith this story.

Hmmm. I have to say I was tempted not to even leave a review I was so disgusted with the two of them.

I am thoroughly upset with Draco though for letting his actions be ruled by a six year old, even if it is his daughter.

I thought that Ginny was pretty calm about the whole thing, perhaps too calm. I really would have thought she would have had a more emotional reaction about his decision. But then again, she says she doesn't love him, so if that is true (which obviously it can't be here is scuba land where Draco and Ginny will always be in love)then I guess she could let it go without a protest.

I am hoping that in the next chapter you redeem yourself for this torture you have put me through by doing something about getting them to look closer at what they had together that wasn't just the sex.

Author's Response: I missed you last night, or rather, early this morning. Yes, Draco is a complete and total idiot for making Serena's actions make a decision for him. And yes, Ginny let it go easily. But she and Draco are under the impression they don't love each other. As the saying goes, distance makes the heart grow fonder. Or it could make them realize they weren't meant for each other. Hehe. Look out for Lemon Meringue.

I'm slightly disappointed in Draco, though not surprised. It's like he's okay with getting a little closer to Ginny as long as the words aren't spoken. When they have their family moment on top of the cliff he's okay with it, but when Ginny brings up a possibility of working things out with him he ruins it with his killing the bliss comment. Rather selfish of him really. He did give Ginny a nice birthday present but I felt badly for Ginny. Even though she says to herself that she will use him the same as he was using her, she obviously didn't feel totally detached. And he didn't respect that at all. Pompous arse.

I hope that Ginny's little admittance at the end has some affect on him. He really is being an arse about the whole thing. He just doesn't want to admit that he likes Ginny and is using his spoiled kid as an excuse. I think I want to slap Draco just a little bit right now.

Good chapter that I hope is setting us up for some more soul baring interactions the next time around.

Author's Response: Draco isn't exactly emotionally attuned with himself so that isn't new. And it would have all just been way too sweet for me (Did you read those family moments?) if Draco gushed about his emotions. Plus it doesn't fit into the plot. He is selfish, arrogant, and just an all over bad guy. But I'm glad that someone is finally seeing that Serena is really an excuse. It isn't her fault at all but people blame her. Granted, it is her fault they broke things off. This chapter is setting up for plenty of stuff. Bare in mind how much you love me over the next two chapters though. :D

Wow. Draco is intense at the end. I can't blame Ginny for fearing some sort of boomerang effect from all of this. We all know that the thought of Draco wanting to posess only us is lovely, but the reality of that is what Ginny is experiencing.

Great chapter but it definitely had the feel of a plot device stepping stone so I hope the next chapter will be as exciting as I aspire for.

What a titilating piece of lovely filler that was. Perhaps this story is edging its way towards crackfic territory? That might be a horse of a different colour for you.
