“Let go!” I wail, pulling back from him with a frustrated cry. “I’ve got detention with Carrow and I can’t be late! Please just let go of me!”Category: Long and CompletedHe immediately releases me, his expression suddenly darkening. “Oh.” It’s all he can say. We both know what those detentions really are.
Ginny Weasley’s sixth year at Hogwarts is not at all what she expected. Harry’s gone to do something dangerous again, Death Eaters are teachers, and the cruciatus curse is a favorite punishment for misbehaving students… and blood-traitors. Dark but humorous, riddled with both angst and fluff, the events of Deathly Hallows told from Ginny’s point of view without the epilogue.

Endless thanks for the beta-ing to Jaden Malfoy.
I've only read 3 chapters (stupid history article), but I already REALLY like this story. It's quite funny actually, because it has some elements that I usually detest in D/G fics, i.e, Draco being out of character, or the friendship and romantic relationship moving to fast, etc. But in this story, it just WORKS. I keep thinking, why do I like this story so much? Then I realize that despite some elements that I usually dislike, the elements that are found in this story that I love greatly outweigh the negatives. For example, your amazing ability to story tell, your vivid character description, and overall consistent flow of writing. Congrats, and I can't wait to read some more once I'm done this stupid article... :)
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! That's a great compliment. It's funny that I didn't really realize how OOC Draco was being until half-way into this story but its so true. What can I say? He just became that way, lol. Good luck with your article!

Winner Best Kiss, Best Interpretation of Prompt, and Mod's Choice in the 2009 D/G Fic Exchange on LJ. Written for fallingskyes.
I agree with CCC when she says this is a very different and refreshing idea for a fic. I'm eager to read more! Slightly OOC, but I'm OCD about that...hahah. Great start!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Hahaha. Who do you think is out of character? This story was nominated for both Best Draco and Best Ginny, but I would probably agree with you. XD
"The next morning she awoke to a red rose laid carefully on the pillow beside her. Once a sign of his love, now the ruby petals stood only as a symbol of his betrayal."Category: Completed Short StoriesJust in time for Halloween, a horror story examining the ways betrayal and repressed pain can warp and twist the heart and mind. Not a story for the light of heart.
This was great. So twisted and dark..I can't choose a side, but really, that just adds to this story. I can't get over how fantastic this was. Really well-written. But for curiosity purposes, what happened to Ginny? Did she as well die in the process?
Category: Works in ProgressBarely sixteen years old and fearing for his mother's life, Draco stepped up in his father's absence to take his place amongst the Death Eaters. The following year at Hogwarts School was, without a doubt, the hardest he had ever endured. Now seventeen, the young Malfoy seeks to keep safe all he loves by doing the opposite, and taking the golden advice Albus Dumbledore had left him minutes before his death.
I'm really enjoying this story :) its strange how similar our current stories are (mine's The Thorn and his Rose), but I can see we're taking different approaches. Can't wait for more.
P.S i understand how frustrating it is to not receive enough constructive reviews, but I'll make sure to leave one when I can :)
Author's Response:
I really appreciate that! Thank you! I'll try to read your story ASAP, too. The title is very creative. I'll review it as soon as I've read some. :D Can't wait!
I like your pen name, by the way. Did you make it up, or is it an actual name you've heard before? It's really cool.
Hi there!
I'm currently on chapter 7, and plan on reading the rest later, but I really like the direction in which this story is progressing in.
Firstly, I really enjoy the intertwining of narration and the character's inner thoughts in the non-dialogue parts of your chapters. It isn't a first person story persay, but it still manages to give the readers a little insight on the thoughts of the characters.
Moreover, your writing is very fluid and not choppy at all. Occasionally, there are some dialogue lines that seem unrealistic (meaning, I can't imagine anyone actually saying them), but they really WORK with the style of your story. I had an example, but now I lost it lol :P Just know that it works and I love it ;) :)
Once I read the rest of the chapters, I'll make sure to review again. And reading your story motivates me to finish my next chapter, so thanks for that as well :D
Imaiya
P.S Sorry I didn't reply to your question about my username in my response to the review you left (which again, was extremely sweet
:S i think i went over the word count in my last review.
i meant to say that my username is actually my name, and it means "beautiful eyes" in Sanskrit. Thanks for the compliment :)
Twenty-five-year-old Draco is captured and housed at Grimmauld place. He learns to appreciate the simple things.Category: Works in Progress
I really thought this was fantastic. It made my heart all warm even though it wasnt heavily based off of romance. *favourites*
Author's Response: Thank you. I liked him being vulnerable and then seeing the bright side again.
Draco and Ginny are together at Grimmauld place. He's stalking her. Is it all in fun, or does he have ill intent?Category: Completed Short Stories
Really enjoyed this one :) Your one-shots are always fantastic.
Author's Response: Thank you. Your review made me smile.
Ginny's reality becomes mixed with her dreams. Which life is real? Why would her family insist she's married to Harry when she knows she's married to Draco?Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow, that is one twisted story (in an excellent way, of course). I feel terrible for Harry, and I actually want him and Ginny to be together. But of course, the story just wouldn't be what it is without Draco and Ginny ending up together like you have written. Other than that, extremely well written, fluid, and descriptive. Congrats. :)
Author's Response: Thank you. Harry is supposed to be sympathetic in this fic. Draco wins in the end. We hope for the best for Ginny.
Oh, and by the way, my favourite line is:
"You wore an emerald, strapless gown. My mother pitched a fit.”
HA.
Author's Response: I loved that one too. I can hear him speaking in dry but amused tone.

“It’s a feud, Hermione, you wouldn’t understand. Your parents are dentists,” Ron said in a moody, world-weary tone.
HAHA love it! This is brilliant. Really well written, and very humorous! I look forward to reading more of your stuff :)!

loved this, very hauntingly beautiful.
Ginny struggles with past mistakes, and wracking pain. She isn't sure if they are seperate, or whether it is memories or something else causing the pain...Category: Poetry
Imperfect, devastating smile.
That was a great line, it really stuck with me. You've done a great job here! Sometimes it was confusing...but in a good way, because I don't think this piece is meant to be crystal clear...alot of it is left to be interpreted by the reader. I really do hope you write more :) Great job!
When Harry Potter leaves to go Horcrux-hunting with the Golden Trio, a scorned Ginny Weasley faces the prospect of a sixth year rife with loneliness. When an opportunity for revenge against the boy who broke her heart presents itself, she can't help but take it, even if it requires becoming involved with her sworn enemy. But games of love never turn out as they are intended, and Ginny may be putting her heart in more danger than ever before...Category: Works in Progress
I love your writing! It's wonderfully classic, reminds me of JKR herself.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, that is the most wonderful complement I've ever received!! :-)

Auror Ginny Weasley is supposed to protect Draco Malfoy. It doesn't quite turn out the way she thought it would.Category: Completed Short Stories
Vague plot, written for Porn Battle XII.
hmm, I felt it was a bit strange how Ginny started off dreading her mission and then two weeks later, was sympathizing with him. Nonetheless, you're a great writer and this was a really enjoyable read :) Nice job.
Author's Response: There's nothing like forced closeness to make you rethink the prejudices you've had about someone. At least in this case, because Draco wasn't anything like what Ginny thought he would be. :)
