It was more than a fleeting thought. Fleeting could be pushed aside. Fleeting could be ignored. This slow burn, this ache...it had the promise of addiction, the means to swallow them both whole. Started as smut, but developed quite the plot.Category: Long and Completed
haha, good to know you wouldn't leave it like that. I love it, even though the chapter is rather sad. Sad is good at times. But only if the epilogue is happy ;) Here's hoping!
I LOVED the ending! I really liked the end where you incorporated all those numbers. I flowed really well.
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
Hm. I quite like Bella's interest in playing games, it's entertaining in a rather sinisterly worrying way. I can't wait to see how this all turns out.
Author's Response: Thank you! Originally, Bella was a mere mention, but then, she was so much fun she kind of forced her way into the story. :) More coming soon! thanks so much. - G
Very interesting to see that from his point of view. I like it!
How exciting!! Have fun in NYC!
Author's Response: Thank you! So glad you like it. :)
NYC was great. Tom Felton talked to me and was totally HOT (and his gf is gorgeous). I posted in the forum all about it. Now... I rest, recover, and get back to writing. lol
The fallout of a magical clandestine war is difficult to wade through, and reconstructing society takes work to be done right. Unfortunately, too many old prejudices remain. Ginny sees the world for what it is and is determined to fix it properly. This leads to all sorts of unlikely allies.Category: Works in Progress
I love all the intrigue! Very interesting to read and I can't wait to see how it all plays out.
Author's Response: I liked playing with it and seeing how they respond to that kind of stress. It was lots of fun to write, so I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it was much as I was. :)
Fantastic! I love how confident Ginny was (at least outwardly). It's nice to see her being the one initiating things for once instead of being on the receiving end. And I like how she's subtly getting her family to see the slytherins in a different light. Very sneaky. I was a little surprised that percy didn't have anything to say about Millicent, but I guess he isgenerally more accepting of things that would be beneficial to himself and less likely to look at what house someone was from. I've always disliked how judgemental the Weasley's were, but I guess they have their reasons and it's nice to see that some of them (Ginny and Percy in particular at the moment) are able to see things in a different light. Though it looks like others are coming around. I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Ginny is definitely a Gryffindor, so even if she has any reservations, she won\'t show them very easily. Percy is definitely out for his own advancement, and Millie wasn\'t involved in the war, either. She wouldn\'t necessarily be known as evil by the population at large. There\'s all kinds of judgment, though JKR definitely painted the Weasleys in a better light in the books. I really wanted to show both sides of the equation in the story. I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it so far. :)
Pansy is fascinating. She never quite does what I expect, and I think she's going to turn out to be a really great friend. Which is good, because Ginny will be good for her. It's good to see that Ginny is learning and able to slip in little comments here and there that get people thinking without her actually telling them to think. Very sly.
Author's Response: I never seem to write the same Pansy. In this one, her story is completely heartbreaking, and she\'s definitely a lot more fragile than she lets on in the beginning. She and Ginny really do complement each other well, and it was nice to really develop their friendship.
Lovely, as usual. I really like the interaction between the characters and I'm entertained by Percy and Millie. What a pair. I like the glimpses we get into Pansy behind the alcohol, I find her fascinating. Keep it up!
Author's Response: The thing I discovered while writing this was how many characters I really wanted to explore in this \'verse. But given that I would\'ve then rambled on *forever,* I had to narrow the focus to those that Ginny was really close to, as she is the main character of the piece. But I really liked the idea of this Percy and Millie together, and how they would\'ve gotten along. :)
Interesting chapter. I'm not going to say lovely (as I usually do it seems) because it was rather dark, but I really did enjoy reading it. I like how the Slytherins are becoming fuller characters. I'm really curious to see where the next chapter takes all of this. There are a bunch of new bits introduced in this chapter and I can't wait to see how they pan out.
Author's Response: I don't usually play with Slytherins much, so I had fun with them in the story. I really liked them as I got to know them. :)
I'm really liking the new people joining the charity. And the celebrity quidditch was a brilliant idea. Lovely smut at the end too. Haha dessert before AND after dinner, not a bad idea.
Author's Response: I could have easily gone on for longer with this story, I think, just because there were so many fun characters to play with after a while. Glad you like them. :)
Haha, Ginny on pain meds is hilarious! And I liked the bit where Viola was berating Flint, I think it would have been amusing to watch. I'm really glad the Pansy thing seems to be working itself out, she seems much happier now. That and now she has a reason to not drink, I was especially glad to see that. I'm probably rooting for Pansy more than I am for Ginny or Draco. I think she's my favorite character in this story.
Author's Response: I loved writing that part. :) I actually loved Pansy so much more in this story than I thought I would, which is probably why she showed up as much as she did. I certainly didn't plan her plot thread in this. :)
YAY!! I loved it! I was cheering for the reforms the entire chapter. I think my favorite part though, was when Pans and Ginny were in the park and the man yelled at them to get a room. lol. Just a side note... it's generally the beau monde or the haute ton, I've never heard it as the haute monde, and I've read far more Regencies than I would like to admit.
Author's Response: lol. I read way too many Regencies, too. :D I wanted to do something slightly different, since this is Wizarding stuff and they're just slightly off of traditional England. So I smooshed the terms. ^^; I'm glad you liked the story overall. :)
Draco Malfoy seems destined by Fate, herself, to have horrific birthdays. Will anything be able to break the birthday curse?Category: Completed Short Stories
I love it! So Fluffily lovely. I nearly cracked up when Mrs. Weasley caught them in the kitchen ( but I refrained since my roommate is napping).
Author's Response: I\'m glad you nearly laughed out loud. Thats a sign of a truly successful scene, I think.
Draco doesn't remember their past together, and now she's just a Weasley to him. Ginny will do anything -jump through all the hoops, pose as an interior decorator, tap dance -ANYTHING- to break the spell that erased his memory and make him love her again.Category: Long and Completed
Just wanted to let you know that totally read the new chap of Il Dragone on ffnet the other day I just havent had the time to review properly. I promise I'll get to it this weekend though.
Author's Response: Okay, I'll be waiting for your impressions! ^_^
"How dare she ditch me? How dare she stand up to me in the middle of my dorm and tell me that it was over? I'm the supposed to be the one to ditch her- leave her broken and begging me to reconsider and take her back."Category: Completed Short Stories
Read my first oneshot to find out why Draco is that angry.
While it was cute... and I did like it. I was a bit taken aback when Draco called Granger "hermione" it was a bit out the the blue, not to mention rather our of character. Other than that, I enjoyed it!
Author's Response: I'm so happy you enjoyed reading it.And I wanted Draco to behave that way,I know it's out of character but I'm kinda tired of him being nasty and mean.I wanted my story to be a bit different,I hope you get my point especially that it's my first D/G story;I still need to learn a lot lol
The one place in Hogwarts where no one would be.Category: Works in Progress
Of course it's the one place they both show up.
interesting. I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Neither can I. *chuckle*
What a terrible place to stop. I was thoroughly enjoying it otherwise. Can't wait to read the next chapter!
Author's Response: Sorry...I can't help myself. Cliffies are the easiest way for me to stop.
McGonagall? That was rather out of the blue. Though I suppose she'll be handing out detentions in the next chapter. She seems to like doing that.
Author's Response: I had to pick a teacher. The theory is that the sound of the broom-shed is what made her appear....
def a bit confused... but I'm just going to wait it out and keep reading.
Author's Response: I'm working on the next bit now...All will be explained...
Or...most of it at least...hopefully
Ginny never thought Draco Malfoy would become her guardian...But then, he never thought she would become his.One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
awww. I got a little teary :(
Author's Response: I did too. :( Especially since I was actually listening to the song that inspired me to write this in the first place, and it's very sad and very beautiful. Thanks for reviewing!
Ginny always knew there was something wrong with her eyes.Category: Completed Fiction
interesting... so the color is dependent on Draco? I love how she's getting around the blindness, I can tell you really thought that all through. It's reall neat.
I loved how she told off not only Voldie... but Lucius too :) awesome.
Oooo. His magic will remember? Is that a binding promise then? I laughed when the door opened and sent them sprawling on the floor... hilarious!!
Even as I gaped in horror, Ginny emitted a happy giggle, one that I had not heard in years. How had none of us noticed? How much more to their story was there?Category: Completed Short Stories
Lovely! Though I'm a bit confused as to how Hermione was watching Draco and Ginny at the end of the story.
Author's Response: Oh, it's been mentioned to me, but I kind of meant to make it confusing. When Hermione is speaking about June fifth and visiting DG, that is the flashback. The present is Hermione stumbling around Grimmauld Place and watching DG in the room.
"The day began just like any other for Astoria Malfoy, but it didn’t stay that way for long."Category: Works in Progress
Ten years after the DH Epilogue, Harry Potter dies and everyone else is left to pick up the pieces.
Man I feel terrible for Astoria, she seems like a really nice person in this story... but we all know what's going to be happening in the near future. Poor woman.
