It's hard to learn how to live without that one person you thought would be in your life forever. But Ginny Weasley had always been a quick study, and there are always certain grey-eyed boys to help speed up the learning process...Category: Works in Progress
Aw, great characterization! I absolutely adore this story. Please update soon!
Aw, so cute! Nothing like some good fluff to help you start the day :)
“And how exactly does one’s arse smirk, anyway?”
That's some quality writing. :P
Great chapter, great writing, great story! I'm so glad you haven't abandoned it. NOFOOL (haha, that's a funny acronym) has always been my go to fic when I need a quick pick me up. :)
A Ministry election finds Draco and Ginny positioned against each other once again.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is cute AND it has a plot. It was wonderful!
Author's Response: *laughs* I'm glad you appreciated my attempt at a plot. Thanks for reading and reviewing! -seegrim
Trying to escape the pain of her daughter's death, Ginny runs to Pennsylvania to start anew. Almost six years later, a man from her past walks back into her life, reopening old wounds and setting in motion a journey of discovery, sorrow, and joy.Category: Long and Completed
Aw, I just recently stumbled upon this story, and I love it!
I can't help but notice that Ginny and Draco are quite the alcoholics. They always seem to be drinking -red- wine.
Anyways, please update soon!
Author's Response: You're right. It's my fault. I'm an alcoholic. I don't consider it alcholism, though. It's more of a love for having fun. Besides, I don't get all crazy and drink and drive or strip or anything. But this isn't about me. This is about the story. I made an effort to not mention alcohol in the next chapter. I'll have to be more aware of Draco and Ginny's drinking habits..hehhe.
I don't understand how Draco can be a father, and not believe in love. Clearly he does not feel lust or infatuation for Serena, he loves her. *Sigh* Draco and Ginny both annoyed me this chapter. You're writing is still great, but they just annoyed me.
Author's Response: It's not that he doesn't believe in love. It's that he doesn't believe there is any love between him and Ginny. He knows he loves Serena, which is why he ended the relationship. I can understand why they were annoying to you. Hopefully, you'll become less annoyed with them as the story progresses. Thanks for the review.
Great chapter. I actually tried to press 'previous' to go to the next chapter. Needless to say, it didn't work. :P
Author's Response: LOL. Yes, that wouldn't work. But I'll do my best to get the next chapter out soon.
When Ginny wins a bottle of Felix Felicis strange things happen. (This is set in Hogwarts era, but it's AU. We'll assume Slughorn still works there.)Category: Works in Progress
Hm..very inneresting..haha I like it! Puh-lease Ginny, like you could resist sly, sneaky and SEXY Draco! ;)Please update soon!
Draco, how could you?! Poor Ginny.
Well, at least hes in character. I'm really looking forward to the next installment!
Wow, and I thought the other chapters were amazing! This, by far, was my favourite. Who doesn't love an overprotective and possessive Draco?! ;)
I forgot to add, that I loved how Draco protected Ginny like a dragon protects his treasure. :D
Amazing - as usual. I'm not sure if I prefer the kind Draco, or the arrogant Draco. Regardless, I still love this story and am looking forward to the next chapter!
Draco walked the fine line between charming and creepy in this chapter! Regardless, it was still amazing - as per usual. The last line gave me goosebumps by the way! Anyways, please update soon :)
Wow, Draco is very intense!Oh, and great chapter, as usual. =)
A chubby Draco and the physical trainer from hell. What more can I say? A D/G twist on dieting and an ending sweeter than candy floss. Enjoy. :)Category: Long and Completed
Wow, I am LOVING this story! Its so very original! Can't wait to read more :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! more coming soon!
Aww, I love it! I was trying to read this chapter slowly - to make it last. Update soon, per favore?
I love how Draco is afraid of Ginny by the way. :)
Author's Response: I will try. Unfortunatley, I have a tendency to be outdoors too much in summer. But for you, I will work on it tomorrow (rainy day) :)
You may not be happy with this chapter, but I certainly am. I'm so glad Draco told Ginny what was wrong instead of just letting her know she was fired. Most stories always take the cliche route, and get Ginny and Draco mad at each other over miscommunication. Anyways, this story is the opposite of cliche. It's one of the most original and witty fanfictions I have ever read. You're simply brilliant. =)
My favourite part was:
"He did it for that. The genuine smile and compliment. He endured the physical pain because, in the end, she honestly seemed to care that he accomplished his task."
All together now, Awww, Draco!
Update soon, por favor?
Author's Response: Wow. *blushes* Thanks for saying I wasn't being cliche. I didn't even think of that while writing, but nice that's so nice to know. Working on next one, hope to have it up soon. Best wishes! - G
You just totally made my day. I was innocently checking my mail when BAM! I see "Die, with a T" is updated! Lovely chapter, as per usual. I don't find it hard to believe that the epilogue is the sweetest thing you've ever written, as this entire story is the epitome of sweetness. Probably just as sweet as Draco's favourite chocolate eclair. =)
Author's Response: *grins* and your review made *my* day! Thanks so much.
Yay! A new chapter! As usual, great chapter. Looking forward to reading more, hopefully with a shorter wait, though =P
Author's Response: Yes, next chapter is ready and should be up in a few days. Sorry for the wait. This was supposed to be a quick story, don't know how my muse ran away for so long. Hugs!
“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
Hm.. Will the drama ever end?.... Haha, I hope not!
Well, Rose has redeemed herself *slightly* She definitely reminded me of Hermione this chapter.
Once again, poor everyone. I even feel for Albus and Hugo. They're all in one crazy/horrible/upsetting situation.
Anyway, I'm interested to see where you are heading with this story. Update soon, por favore? =P
Author's Response: Sure thing lol. I'll update as soon as the next chapter's ready. Promise. ;) And don't worry too much about Albus and Hugo, they're not going to go off the deep end of angst or anything over another fist fight. And the good thing is, part of the poor everyone should be fixing itself up somewhat soon but then of course we're back to Ginny's secret, that's a chapter I can't wait to post. 2 more to go for that one! Thanks for your review!
Heart-wrenching, brutal, and utterly captivating... I've never been this moved by a single story. You've no idea how good you are! No other fanfiction has ever evoked such strong emotions out of me. While reading this story, I've been in a constant state of near tears. This story hurts my heart and soul, but in the most beautiful way, ever. I look forward to reading more of this amazing story. Oh, and might I add that I'm on team Lily? =P
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it and doubly glad to read your review! Haha, I'm glad you're on team lily, it makes my job much easier ;) Again, thank you so much for your review! I'm fine-tuning the next chapter right now and its good to have some great inspiration from happy reviewers! I'll get the next one out as soon as I can. Thanks!
I don't even know what to say.. This story is seriously depressing me out. I guess that's the true mark of a great author. You make your audience feel something. And boy am I feeling something...=(
Have you ever thought about creating a playlist/soundtrack for this fic? I can only imagine the angst filled songs on it. I usually listen to songs while reading, and it always enhances the feel of the story. If you do decide to create a playlist, I'm here to help!
Anyway, great chapter, as always. =)
Author's Response: I was actually thinking of a specific song while writing this one. It's 'The Con' by Tegan and Sara. Been stuck in my head for weeks, I kid you not. I haven't thought too much about the other chapters and songs to go with them but that would definately be interesting. I'll definately think about it and I'd love any tips you may have. I've never had that sort of request before but I like it. And thank you for your review, this story is a bit depressing and I have to leave it be every once in awhile. I certainly never intended for so much angst when I first started this fic, but looking back, I'm pretty sure the Angst has wormed its way into every single chapter. ;) Thanks so much for your idea, I'm seriously contemplating it now.
You actully reduced me to tears. Poor Draco. Poor Ginny. Poor everyone... EXCEPT Amber.. Stupid Amber. *Sigh* My heart particularly aches for Draco. He still doesn't know why Ginny left him.. I wish she just told him already. =(
"So as you walk through the door,
and yell, "I'm never coming back here."
It's over, we are still nothing."
-December, Lydia
Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Just like this chapter. =)
Author's Response: Thank you! I really, really appreciated your idea for the playlists, I've been listening to songs all day, just thinking and it's been wonderfully new and different from what I normally do. And just to let you know, Ginny is going to come clean. I cross my heart and hope to die with that promise. Now if only I can find a song... hmm... ;) Once again, thanks for your lovely idea! And yes, Amber is stupid, ah but look what good intentions will get you, sigh indeed. Thanks again!
Amazing chapter, as per usual. Is it wrong that I'm in love with a fictional character? And that fictional character isn't Draco anymore (I know, I know!)I just love how caring (to Lily) Scorpius is. And that confession of love! Sigh. Why are sweetest boys always fictional? =P
Love this line:
“Hey, the kid had almost six in his grubby little paws; I was doing him a favor, really, much too chubby to attract any girls later in life.”
^It is so Draco. =P
Anyway, I must go to bed now, so goodnight! Oh, and you rock. I love this story.
Oh! Wait! What happened to the playlist?
Author's Response: I know, I'm so sorry about that but I honestly could not find a song that fit this chapter. I had one in mind originally but the chapter sort of turned out differently than I originally intended. If you have any suggestions, I'll throw one in but I could not find anything. I think from now on, I'll insert a playlist if I find one that fits, I have a handful in mind, but I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it off for every chapter. :(
Anyway though, thanks so much for your review and I'm glad you like the story so much, and Scorpius, lol. I'm starting to crush on him too... Its the Draco in him I think. Really, if you do have a song suggestion at anytime, just let me know and I will throw it on it. Thanks.
Well, firstly, congrats on the new job! Secondly, yay for an update! :)
Rose has finally - fully - redeemed herself. I actully felt quite bad for her this chapter. I mean, who hasn't witnessed the guy they like be with a another girl in front of them?
Finally, Ginny's reason next chapter! I really hope it justifys what she did and what she's causing.
Oh, and if you ever feel the need to kill a charachter, feel free to kill that secretary. :P
Author's Response: Thank you! It's quite a time-sucking job but I do love it, so that's good. And I still have time to post chapters, lol. Yes, Rose has redeemed herself and I think we can all agree that she IS completely out of the blame arena now. 'Bout time too. ;) As for Ginny's reason, I should hope it more than justifies. Killing Amber... hmm... must think on that... There isn't any character death planned in this fic, but if it worms its way in I'll be sure to keep that suggestion in mind, lol. Thanks for your review!
