This is a drabble about a pivotal moment in Ginny's relationship with Draco. Guess which moment it is. Go on, guess.Category: Completed Short Stories
That. Was. Awesome! Haha, I think everyone will have to admit they did not see that ending coming ;) Nothing like a great story to help you start your morning :)
A grownup Ginny reflects on her childhood romance with Draco. Will a wish on a star make her dreams come true, or is Draco destined to remain just a passionate memory?Category: Completed Short Stories
Very cute. Happy holidays, CCC!
They say the road to Hell is paved with the best of intentions. [Winner of Persephone33's excellent Time Turner '09 contest]Category: Long and Completed
Definitely lamer than a horse with one shoe. Just kidding, it's fantastic. Congrats on winning Pud's contest, btw. I already read the second part, and believe me it's even better than the first (which is already bloody amazing).
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
Very interesting so far! I'm eager to see where you take this story. :)
Great chapter, but I shall blame you for my exhaustion tomorrow since I stayed up late to read this. :P
One thing I noticed, though:
"But spreading enough ready cash about to all and sundry who can whisper an encouraging word for him into the court’s ear can only help, and his heartless-*hottie* good looks certainly can’t hurt"
Don't you mean haughty instead of hottie?
Author's Response: No, actually Rita Skeeter can't get over the "hottie" thing as applied to Draco, clearly. ;) I wouldn't give much for her chances, considering the "bugger off" reply.
Another lovely chapter! Erm, it was awesome as well! Especially the car scene. And of course Draco drives a Mercedes. If hr was going to "lower" himself to a muggle cars, it has to be the best. :P
I'll admit that I did have to Google what a kiln is. You don't even what to know what I thought it was!
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for updating so quickly.... so thank you. :)
Have a nice day!
OH! I forgot to mention that I was listening to Hot Mess by Cobra Starship while reading the second half of the chapter. I think it actually sorta fit! From Draco's POV, anyway. :P
Ohh, things are getting very interesting! Draco seems to always be at the right place at the right time.. hmm... I wonder what's going to happen next. I'm definitely intrigued.
Author's Response: So you've noticed that too? ;) We shall see...
"Draco was wearing exquisitely tailored pale pink pyjamas with gray piping, she saw."
Haha, of course he was. =P
"Or on the other hand, it could be a torrid lust nest of red shag carpet, paintings of reclining nude elves on velvet, revolving heart-shaped beds, and cabinets filled with dubious leather and latex items."
^ That line made me burst out laughing. Not the cute giggly sort, but the obnoxious full on guffaw.
Loved this chapter, btw. Definitely my favourite so far. Draco is so mysterious; it'll be interesting to see what his character is hiding. Speaking of which, those crates are totally not Blaise's. =P
Love you! Love your writing!
Author's Response: Thanks, and yes, Draco does have a mysterious character here, doesn't he?
Great chapter! I kind of love picture Ginny and Draco. I missed the real Draco in this chapter, though! I can't wait to see what he's up too. :)
Author's Response: Real Draco will be back very soon!
Wow, this is so interesting! I love how photograph Ginny is gettng more action that real Ginny.
I had almost forgotten about the whole Marie debacle. I hope that's explained soon.
PS: Hermione and Harry are such tools... haha.
Author's Response: Don't forget about Marie, because she's going to be very important... ;)
Secrets by One Republic is definitely the theme song for DDD. It's eerie how it parallels exactly what's going on. Ginny's just dying for Draco to reveal his secrets.
Another great chapter, by the way. :)
Author's Response: I'll have to find that song! I want to hear it now. Yep, that pretty much describes Ginny's state of mind, and we'll see just how much she finds out...
"Ginny looked down, into her chest, and saw some of the secrets. They whispered and cried sadly to each other, like lost children"
Wow. Just wow. The above line is definitely my favourite in the whole story. The imagery is just... wow. :P
Another mesmerizing, enchanting, sexy (take your pick) chapter.
Brace yourself though, I've figured out your ending...
Draco ends up with me, right? RIGHT?!
Damn it, I'm wrong aren't I? Oh well... :p
Seriously, though, I've never thought that Ginny and Marie were the same person until now... So I"m eagerly awaiting the next chapter where - hopefully - some of my questions will be answered without leading to more questions.
Author's Response: Thank you! I love that line too, and I think it says a lot about Ginny's character. :)
Um... well... I can't really guarantee that ending... but anyway. Some questions will definitely be answered in the next chapter. I'm not making any promises about anything not leading to *more* questions, though... ;)
I really like the whole aspect of Ginny finding herself. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter. :)
Author's Response: I do too. I think it's something that has to happen at this point in the fic, and I've planned it since the very beginning. Much more to come-- plus that one-shot from Draco's POV! ;)
Ginny has always enjoyed doing things just to be contrary.Category: Completed Short Stories
Haha, I love it. Snarky Ginny and Draco are so funny.

This story was completely and utterly riveting. I sincerely hope you post the sequel; I love your characterization of Ginny and Draco, and the plot is captivating.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Ginny was a challenge for me in this one, so I'm so happy that she came through! :) First chapter of the sequel is written, but I want to have the story more complete before I start posting.
Hugs!

Epilogue Quote of the Day:
He struggled to prop himself up on an elbow. “Lovegood—Luna-- do you remember being… I really don't have the least idea how to explain this… somewhere else?”
“Somewhere that looked like King’s Cross Station?” asked Luna.
“Yes!” Draco tried to sit up all the way and failed, flopping back down onto the bed.
A thoughtful look came over her face. “I think that I do, but I don’t believe that anyone else does. Maybe it’s better that way.”
“Probably. Look, uh… where’s Ginny?”
“She’s not ready to see you just yet,” said Luna. ”Here’s a napkin.”
“I don’t care about a napkin! Where’s Ginny?”
Intriguing! I'm very excited to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks! There's more coming soon.
I love this story! And I really appreciate that you're still writing D/G, Anise. I am looking forward to your next update :)
Oops! Almost forgot to add that I'm also loving the characterization of Ginny and Draco in this.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yep, it seems like I just can't stay away from D/G. BUT... the characters in *Death Train* really are my Draco and my Ginny. Clearly not the canon ones or even vaguely related to them, but that's where they came from.
The fact remained that Draco Malfoy was a vile git of the worst sort. He was shockingly rude, for one, and he was also a big hypocrite.Category: Completed Short Stories
Super cute, I loved it! I'm a sap for married!DG :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm happy you liked it. I love married!DG too, my second favorite after friends-first!DG. ;D
