When Draco Malfoy finds Ginny Weasley working at a Muggle strip club, he enlists her help in being his fake girlfriend to get his money back. But can they pull it off without getting their feelings involved?Category: Works in Progress
Haha, that makes me feel a little better. Misery loves company. I really should get cracking on my story. Haven't updated in a million years.
Author's Response: Do it for me! I update for you, after all. =)
I'll try to see what I can get done at work. I'm having a bit of a block that I need to work through. Would you be willing to read some stuff (once I manage to get it to paper)?
Author's Response: I'd be willing to beta it for you, actually. If you need me to, that is. So definitely send it my way!!
Where's the rest of it? I need more! This barely had interactions. Is more coming soon or is this just a new way to torture me? I thought we were friends now. *pouts*
Author's Response: There is definitely more coming and soon; I promise! I might send you a snippet of the next chapter. Call it a teaser. ;)
You're an evil witch lady. I need more. Although, I shouldn't be reading I should be writing my Smutty Claus gift. Gah!
But I need more.
Author's Response: I am most decidedly an evil witch lady. You will live, though. Now get to writing!
I will say this about the next chapter, it's more of a filler chapter. Things start to really progress in chapter seven. I've edited six and seven and just have to send them to my beta, so as soon as my story is off the most recent list, I will go ahead and do that. No more month long waits for chapters!
I have to wait for it to leave before you will put it back? That's so mean.
Author's Response: What can I say? I'm the evil queen. Mwhaha! XD
You're practically Malificent, Cruella, and Umbridge all rolled into a neat little package.
I like their relationship progression so far. I like that there is clearly attraction but because this isn't a romantic situation (yet) that the interactions are normal with a hint of awkward. I feel like the first kiss is just going to knock their socks off and change the face of their interactions. More! :D
Author's Response: The story is completed on my hard drive, so there will be more soon! I'm really happy you're enjoying it so far, as I really enjoyed writing it!
I can't put into words how much hearing that it is completed made me happy.
I. Have. No. Words.
*squeeeee*
Author's Response: You're making me so happy right now, oh my goodness! I'm glad that made you happy! =D
You should know, I was so happy to see this update that I read it at work. I just couldn't wait.
Author's Response: You have officially made my day. I'm practically flailing over here while smiling like an idiot. Thank you!!!
Hahaha, I'm glad. Now update again. Go on, you know you want to...
Author's Response: You know I probably would if it weren't for the fact that it hasn't been beta-ed yet. Even as an admin I don't dare post things without a beta reader. But hopefully it won't take so long for an update this time.
I wish this chapter was longer! I think you might be trying to kill me!
And Hermione might be trying to kill me too. Why did Ginny have to answer the door? Couldn't she wait 10 min -- 20 mi -- 30 mins to answer?
Author's Response: Sorry but Draco is going to require a lot longer than that ;)
Maybe it could just be an intro, or a preface, or an appetiser? However you wanna put it. Just a little nibble, to satisfy until the full experience can be experienced... Pretty please? Hermione is such a c---blocker (even if only inadvertently).
Author's Response: *snorts into tea* All I'm saying is that the wait will be worth it. I promise you.
Oh my gosh! I've sorry you've been going through all of that but I'm glad you've made it to the other side alive. Yes, definitely email me if you still have my address. If not I'll get it back to you...somehow. So happy you're in a better place.
Author's Response: Email me. Ketherton@yahoo.com
I've re-read, all caught up and I'm glad to see you're back! How have you been?
Love the chapter! Love the story. I'm so excited to have updates again. I can't wait to see if Blaise notices Draco's sincere feelings for Ginny and how that affects the situation.
Author's Response: I am doing AMAZING! I have a new email, so if you want to email me, let me know and I'll get you my address. Times were hard. Turns out drugs are bad. Like real bad. Like two trips to rehab and 12 overdoses bad. But I got my shit together, and I am doing so well now. I can't stop writing, actually. I lost all of this story so I'm rewriting it. Almost done with chapter eight now!
My review ended up on the previous chapter.
I really did love this chapter. I loved that Ginny was now in the same emotional boat as Draco - all feelings - and no idea what to do about it. I hope they get overtaken by lust though...that would be fun to read. Still curious about what Blaise will say when he figures out all the feelings, especially from Draco.
Author's Response: *hums loudly trying not to give away everything*
I wonder if Lucius and Narcissa would still think that she would make a great Malfoy if they knew their arrangement started as a contract.
Lovely chapter. I like that their relationship is developing and that Ginny gets along with Draco's friends. Lovely chapter. Now, where is the next chapter? LOL
Author's Response: I'm not sure... would they?
Hmm. The next chapter is in my head. And waiting to be typed. Tomorrow. Or tonight.
*squees*
Eww, Harry is a troll. Love Blaise stepping up for Ginny. Love Lucius sitting back. I need more but I'll try to wait.
And don't think I forgot that you cut my sexytimes short. I expect a very big payoff, Missy.
Author's Response: I see Harry more as a flawed human. But that's me lol. I like that you loved it so much. Seems you're the only one this update.
I will not forget your sexy times.
When her family perished in the great wizarding war, Ginny turned her back on the magical community and eeked out a life for herself in the muggle world. Struggling to make ends meet, Ginny seeks to escape her hum-drum life and a throwaway comment from Draco galvanises her into action. Afraid of losing her, Draco intervenes and nothing ends up going to plan.Category: Works in Progress
I'm happy you accepted the challenge. This is a great story so far. The uncertainty between them is lovely.
Best smut you say? I'm inclined to agree with you there. Funny thing is, you made sure to disclaim that it was not work safe and here I am reading it at work. Terrible of me but so very good.
Off to read the next chapter.
Author's Response: Lol reading smut at work is so delightfully illicit isn't it? I enjoy reading naughty stories on the train to work with the text size set to 'microscopic' it's a thrill. Glad you like it. I like this one because i think it is the most real of all the scenes I've written. Romantic hyperbole is great but it doesnt always fit and that is the case here. Funnily enough 'Traditions' is actually my favourite chapter of this fic. Every time i reread it i feel like i can close my eyes and live it. I also like Draco in this chapter.
This is slow torture. I need the rest of this story like yesterday. Is the completed story posted anywhere else on the net? Will I have to scour with a fine-toothed comb to find it?
I need more. *pouts*
Love that he wasn't taking any chances. Very Malfoy of him.
Author's Response: Lol no it's shiny and new. The rest will be posted when i can sort out the formatting. Glad you like it.
I'm currently re-reading some of your other stories. I'm saddened by how many of them are WIPs. Are you going to finish them? Do those 3 mentioned at the top still make you feel uncomfortable to write?
Author's Response: ExIr still has milage. I love Refraction and Pandoras Paradox but yes Irae Culpa and Oh Dear God will not likely be finished. It's the age thing. I'm 32 now. I don't feel the same as i did 10 years ago. I might see if i can post the last ODG smut cookie. Depends how much of it i can recover off the fried hard drive.
Ok, I'm rereading Refraction and it NEEDS to be resurrected. Based on the hints on chapter 2, Ginny is clearly in the early stages of pregnancy. I want to see how that revelation will be handled, how the renovation of the Manor will take place and if the Parkinson-Longbottoms will make an appearance. I feel like those two chapters were just a tease.
When a case of workplace sexual harassment leaves Ginny in a truly desperate state, the natural thing to do is to convince Draco Malfoy to pretend to be her boyfriend. Naturally.Category: Works in ProgressWritten for SunnyStorms in The DG Forum's 2015 Winter Fic Exchange.
I had read TDC when it was originally posted for the fest/exchange but I didn't realize more things were added. I just had to catch up today only to find out that you won't be updating until February. Gah!!!
Anyways, I'm loving this story so much right now. Draco and Ginny are ace. Pansy and Theo are stars, especially Pansy. I love how adorable Colin is as a ghost. The sexytimes are magnificent and I can't wait to see how you make D&G come to terms with their love. Awesome story. Love the additions and I can't wait for the update. Have a happy holiday and a safe trip.
Author's Response: Ahhh, I'm so glad you're reading the story again! There was so much I wanted to include in TDC when I originally wrote it for the exchange, but I just couldn't get it all in. So I'm excited to be expanding the story now! (Especially because I ALWAYS say I'm going to heavily edit/expand my exchange fics, and I usually never do.) Thank you so much for rereading and reviewing! I hope you have a happy holiday as well! n_n
After five months, Blaise and Luna's relationship is on the rocks and breaking up fast. He's callous; she's determined to teach him a lesson. Ginny is all too willing to contribute to Luna's cause, and Draco... well, he just keeps stepping right into the middle of things and suffering the consequences.Category: Works in Progress
HAHAHAHAAHA! I love the mix-ups. This amuses me to no end. Poor Blaise, and poor Draco caught in the middle of it all. Lovely chapter. I wish it was longer. More please...
end note: I'll read for you if you the offer is still open.
Harry reflects on Ginny Weasley as she moves on in her life without him through a series of secret letters.Category: Completed Short Stories
I think you did a beautiful job with this. I love how bittersweet this is. You can feel the melancholy. I enjoyed this immensely.
Beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm always glad to hear that my work gives someone feels!
