*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
Gosh. This is just like witnessing an accident, we know it's going to be ugly, but can't turn our heads away. So sad and evil and *good*! My heart is out for both boys. I hope Ginny'll have sense not to hurt them even more, even if unwillingly. And Nott! I'm in ;ove with his character, the way you write him. Can't wait until the next update. Amazing work!
I'm so glad to see the updates! I love that Nott's working with Draco, because I was hoping for something of the sort - I love the way you play him. Also it's interesting to see where things will go from here - both Draco and Pierce thinks they are playing each other. Hopefully, with Draco knowing it was Pierce who took Ginny, Pierce's plans of making him believe that the Order is responsible for her demise will fail, and we won't see a damaged beyond repair Draco. Oooooh... I can't wait for more!
Interesting to see how despair and need to show results made Pierce, well, stupid. He totally lost notion of believable, and I agree with Draco, the way he played things, the way he just told him he was sorry, but the Order killed Ginny? Right. Believable. Not. It was a good way to write his mental breakdown. Kudos to you! Other than that... Still think McGonagall is way OOC, having loved Dumbledore as a friend or a lover, no matter - but hey, that's the fun in fanfiction, you can make them act as you damn well please!
I loved that we managed to connect the dots with this chapter, as we now see what happened to Naomi and Ben, as well as Snape, and good Lord, I was half expecting to find that Pierce didn't really die. But I actually like that he did - not because I don't like him, but because it feels like cosmic retribution, as well as wonderful writing, as you gave us the unexpected, almost anticlimactic finale for him. But it's right. It *fits*.
The wrapping up with Harry was wonderfully done. But I missed Draco, though. I love your Draco - you write him like I see him.
"Draco smirked. He would make an interesting hero."
Damn right! I love this chapter, I love this sentence, and good Lord, I love your Draco, and Draco and Ginny interactions. :D [/mushy]
*applauds* LOVE it. Thank you!
Draco is behaving strangely. Ginny is becoming upset. Whatever may be going on? ;-) Christmas fluff, written for Persephone33!Category: Completed Short Stories
I love this story. It's refreshing when we see the Malfoys being written in a true way, but still not shallowly stereotypical. Lucius is not my favourite character, mostly because he's always portrayed so blunt and as an excuse for all that is eevihl in the world, like a plot device... But I loved this, because in a few words you made him enjoyable and deliciously bastard. Great story, great characters' work!
Award-winning fic from the D/G Fic Exchange on LJ. "His body lies cold and still beside her; his mouth is open, an O, and his hair is drying, feathery, in wisps, over his closed eyes. That fair skin; that nearly white hair. Dead, he looks so young...."Category: Long and Completed
The dark and tragic story of a journey Under...based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
This is so agonisingly gorgeous! Gorgeous and heartbreaking, really. I love this, and I applaude you for such terrific writing.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m so glad you liked it. :-)
12 years after the war, Draco returns to England for his daughter's sake. Written for Black Alnair on the 2006 dgficexchange.Category: Completed Short Stories
I've read this on LJ - and it was actually one of the very few fics I suspected who the author was, as I am such a great fan for this kind of storyline - which, obviously, makes me a fan of your writing as well! I'm glad I got it right, and I'm glad you posted this here as well, so I can save it to my favorites and read it again! Great job!
Draco’s wanted Ginny for a long time. A stolen kiss tips him over the edge into making Ginny an offer, an offer she really should have refused.Category: Completed Short Stories
I reeeeally liked it very much, as in really. I loved that you managed to pass the impression that he really cares for her, but he's still Malfoy and a Slitheryn to boot to do what he needs to get what he wants. Wonderful writing, and yes, it begs for a sequel. *hint* ;)
Author's Response: I\'m not going to promise a sequel as I\'ve really fallen down on my promises with my one WIP. But ... as Mynuet and others have pointed out, Ginny hasn\'t fulfilled their agreement. So I\'ll see if my muse is still working.
Sacrifice for the sake of love is a noble intention, but the price of the result is usually high.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh, so, so evil to finish it like that! I loved it, how you presented the stories, and hoe Draco and Ginny acted on the situation. Realistic... If there's a sequel (*wink* *nudge*), I shall be reading. ;)
