I re-read this story again, and just wanted to tell you how good I think it is, even though I'm not sure if you'll see this after so many years. The language is beautiful, the plot is suspenseful and believable, and the development of their relationship is so very real. Also enjoyed Abe and his goat, and your in-character portrayal of Luna. Only slightly put off by the changes of POV, they came on a bit abrupt. Thanks for the wonderful story!

This was very sweet, thanks for writing it! I especially loved the recurring mistletoe kisses, it's a beautiful way to thread the scenes together. On the other hand, I thought the opening was a bit dull- I felt that you could have set the tone in fewer words. Also, the pensieve time-turner thing was a bit unclear, but maybe you intended it that way. Oh, and Draco as a Sultan with a hundred slave girls is a very lusciously intriguing image...:P
Author's Response: Thanks! :) The opening was changed significantly from the longer version (which is also here), and I wasn't completely happy with it, but I had to finish the shorter version on a deadline. So, you're right. The way that the time-turner pensieve idea was explained also works better there, I think. The sultan-Draco thing actually was from a planned fic that never got written (but we're talking about a D/G anthology on the FFN group, so it might.) In a former life, Draco was Sultan Suleiman, the great unifier of the Ottoman Empire who almost took over Europe. He did indeed have over a hundred slave girls, and they actually all did have red hair. Ginny was Khurrem Kadim, his beautiful, scheming consort who eventually ran the empire from behind the scenes. Maybe I actually WILL write that fic!! ;) anyway, thanks again for the review!!
