NEW, REVISED EDITION!! The Last Chapter. See what you think of this version! :)Category: Long and Completed
By the spring of her fifth year, Ginny Weasley had almost convinced herself that she didn’t really still want Harry Potter. But when he finally kissed her one Hogsmeade weekend in June, she couldn’t resist the power of all those years of waiting and watching and hoping and praying. Six months later, her dream has finally come true… except that Draco Malfoy just won’t leave her alone. Strange things are afoot, and once Ginny starts to figure out what’s really going on, nothing is as simple as it seems…
I remember reading the ending for the first time, and I don't believe Ginny and Draco ever got together. But to see this... wow. This was amazing. What's crazy was I didn't remember it until the end... much like a dream. The thought gives me chills. In a good way. Your writing always makes me think, and I believe that is why I love your work so much.
The ending paragraph was amazing. I wish I could write anywhere near as well as you do. You have a gift with words.
Author's Response: Thank you thank you thank you! (Happy Dance ensues.) You're right about the first version-- they didn't really end up together. When they both woke up, they sort of just resumed their separate lives. When I went back to *Bound*, I realized that it just didn't strike me as what actually happened. You see, all of the D/G events already HAPPENED, and I'm just finding out about them and writing them down and-- And there's the white van again. I think they have butterfly nets.
Anyway. You fabulous reviewer, you! Promise to review my first Kindle book on Amazon??? :)
I'll distract the van, you run Anise! RUN! XD
Of course I'll review your first book! Just let me know when it's out and what name it is under! I'll enjoy reading it, and then telling everyone I know this fabulous writer! Then when they beg for your address, I will tell them they'd have to kill me first. While holding my boxcutter, of course!
Author's Response: (runs)
Okay, I think I've found a good place to hide... they'll never find me here (hides in the pumpkin patch in the garden.)
Actually, there are going to be two books, both self-published on Amazon (you do have a Kindle, right? Well, there's a free downloadable one for your computer. That's what I have. I'm too cheap to buy a Kindle yet. The first book is "Harry Potter and the Big Book of Boys' Naughty Bits," and it's a parody of DH. (That's why it can be published.) Dumbledore gets a chance to redo Harry's seventh year because he couldn't defeat Voldemort, and much D/G is involved. :)
The other one... well, it takes a lot from my fanfics, which means pretty much any D/G fic that's smut-filled, but it's all original (the characters are re-named Stetson Smith and Gwen Taylor.) Which is a good thing, because I'm going to publish that one on Amazon, too. Death Train: A Novel of Obsession. Aka, "If you hated 50 Shades of Grey, You'll Love Death Train!" So that's my evil plan. What do you think? :)
"He had never actually told her that he loved her. She supposed she should be grateful for that much, at least..." Post-Hogwarts. Auror!Ginny, vs Under-suspicion!Draco.Category: Long and Completed
I could not have asked for a better ending. Perfect.
As the war rages on, Ginny finds herself in prison underneath Draco Malfoy. The Dark Lord's prison is the stuff nightmare's are made of, but a chain of events causes the feelings to start changing. *COMPLETED* This is basically my own recreation of While You Were Sleeping by Burgosdamsco, which is an awesome story, just not finished yet. And yes, I did have her permission!Category: Long and Completed
Oh wow. I'm so in love with you for this. You are just amazing. I loved this. I wasn't sure how you could get it to make sense. But you did great. His father being a liar worked really well as a turning point. I am going to read the sequel next. Just back I HAVE to know what happens. Great job, as always.
Ginny's got a secret with silver hair and a Dark Mark, and it's her fiancee that finds out. This is the result of me listening to the Killer's Mr Brightside 1000 times. Not really a song fic though cause I don't like those.Category: Completed Short Stories
I loved this, Ms. Jessica. Or Mrs. You are simply amazing. I never really got that song, but now I do, all because of you.
**Completed** Ginny can't figure out why Draco is watching her all the time. When both of them lose parts of their families, they are forced together. But Ginny still has to deal with Tom & his obsession with her. Sorry guys, I'm awful at summaries!Category: Long and Completed
While I started out on your other story, I feel that I really wanted a school age story, and this is a great one so far. Just what I need.
So redheads CAN wear pink. Like me! Just thought I'd throw that in. We all know the firey redhead would never go with pink. Your Hermione is very realistic in her approval, I think.
**Finished** The sequel to Dark Days. The war comes to an end, but Ginny still hasn't heard from Draco. She decides to find him, and if he is alive, get him pardoned.Category: Long and Completed
...Marry me? A lot of the time, sequels can ruin a story but you did so well that it didn't. This was amazing. I just loved it.
An essay written by your Site Mommy on the topic of things that those of us who read through and approve your fics wish you wouldn't do.Category: Essays
I'm bookmarking this essay as a guide, just to help remind myself of a few things. I'm trying to write my own story, and all the essays I've found are very helpful. This one is also very funny. Most of it is just common sense. I do love this site dearly and love you as an author.
Draco found Ginny in an abandoned classroom just after the Christmas holidays in Ginny's fifth year, and he did something unforgivable. But then, later on, she found him... and they both found that their combined fates could not be fought.Category: Long and Completed
Not everything ends happily, so I like that this story of yours shows that. It was different from what I've read of your work. Darker. I loved it. You are a great writer. I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous! And I'm glad to see you finished at least one fic. All these half finished ones...*sighs* I get into them, and then there is no more. It breaks my heart, Anise. Please don't break my heart!
Harry, Hermione, Draco, and Ginny are trapped in a dungeon and forced to endure Professor Snape's detention. What does he make them do? Why, read bad fanfic, of course. My one and only MST.Category: Completed Short Stories
I think I hurt my stomach laughing so hard. Seriously, this was too funny to be legal. You did a great job making fun of shitty fic while praising the good fic. I HATE fic with colons everywhere. It needs to die. You're dead on with this. I'm still laughing. I just cannot breathe.
It's an old spell and an older oath, and Draco Malfoy would have laughed them off were he not in his present situation. Things being as they are, however, being married to Ginny Weasley might just be the answer to his problems. Pre-HBP.Category: Long and Completed
I was so surprised to see her agreeing to marry Draco, but so happy at the same dang time! This is perfect, oh my gosh!
WHAT EVEN IS THIS?!?!?! I love it! I have been looking for something like this for so long. Hah, you just made my day!
Both of their mouths are getting them into trouble, I love it! This is great. Draco's an ass, Ginny is hot headed, and Severus is trying his best not to kill Draco. So far, excellent job!
The writing flow is really well. You have just the right amount of snark and feisty-ness. I adore it, and I am enjoying it.
WOW! So I have to take a break, but so far this story is amazing. You've kept Draco and Ginny totally in character while making them have incredible banter. I love it!
Oh gosh, this just keeps getting better and better. I want so badly to read it all night instead of sleeping like a normal human being. What kind of spell have you cast on me?
My entry for Ficmas on the DracoGinnyFanfic mailing list. Draco thinks about Christmas.Category: Completed Short Stories
Draco Malfoy sat in the dungeon quietly, remembering. He tried to block out the memories of her, but they kept haunting his mind; she kept haunting him. More memories of her ran through his head, even as he shook it to try and stop them. They were always of her... Only her...Category: Completed Short Stories
Angst and descriptiveness involved!
You bloody witch! I am sitting here crying because this was so damn good. You did an excellent job of breaking my heart.
Author's Response: <3 Sorry!!
Glad you liked it!!
Scenic encounters in a silent winter; conversations amidst the snow. A bit of angst for the dgficexchange and acciofirebolt.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is absolutely gorgeous. I've read it before and loved it. It's always resonated with me. The final note of hope means so much. It's truly amazing, and it's always made me choke up a bit, though that's just between the two of us.
For all their acidic wit, they were pathetic when it came to real talking...Category: Completed Short Stories
OH MY GOSH IT'S SO CUTE i AM GOING TO THROW UP!
You try not to shake as two of the men point their wands straight at you. You know that your prefect life has come to an end.Category: Completed Short Stories
WHO SAID YOU COULD BREAK MY HEART LIKE THIS?!
Wonderfully fixable and beautifully unfixable,Category: Poetry
Exquisitely infuriating and endlessly kissable.
What Ginny longs for, but knows can never be hers, because life just isn't fair.
Simple, but heart wrenching.
Draco plays some very nasty games with Ginny, but she emerges the winner. Smutty, smutty, smutty. Also, his potty mouth is thoroughly indulged.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was great. I truly adored it, and I kept imagining Draco with a Prince Albert (or Reverse Prince Albert). Now it has to be written into one of mine.
I like Draco's dirty mouth. I think that has to be one of my favorite things about the way you write Draco. He always feels like Ginny is his, or should be his, and he will do anything to have her. I love that.
I also think it's funny that Draco always tastes good. If only that were real life. *sighs wistfully* I also really like that Ginny slips up in her own mind. We tend to do that in real life a lot, I think.
Post HBP warfic. Can two people find comfort in one of the darkest times and places?Category: Completed Short Stories
I loved this story, although there were two things that came to mind. One, food. They couldn't have gone forever without food. And second, the bathroom issue. Did they have to pee in a corner or on themselves? Those are the only real questions I have concerning this. I love the idea of it. You do cling to someone in a situation like this, and I love it. You did a wonderful job. The imagery is great,as well as the narration. And a wonderful ending as well.
One last thing, I love the imagery of them their bodies being intertwined just as their hands had once been. It brings a finality to the story. It all comes together. It really is a beautiful ending.
