Grieving by Mynuet    (Reviews - 29)

Tears streamed down her face and she shook her head, leaning over Draco and brushing his hair gently away from his eyes. "I won't go. I won't leave him."

Ron's grip on her shoulder turned hard. "Ginny, the roof is collapsing, we don't have time! If we don't go, we'll die!"

I really love this one, and how you make us believe we will be reading angst and then turn it into fluff. Lovely. :)

Nineteen Years Later... the Truth by Anise    (Reviews - 893)

What really happened in the DH Epilogue of Doom. Poor, poor Harry, so very clueless...

Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:

Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”

Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”

“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.

“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.

“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.

Wow! This seems very promising and interesting. I love how you confuse the reader on purpose with the beginning, leaving as full of questions to slowly reveal the answers later.

I like your Draco here -- his desperation and vulnerability (at least that's how I read him).

And Harry is a douche. u__u (And Harry-hate is one of my secret pleasures).

*looks forward to the rest*

Author's Response: Yay! A reader sucked into the addictive quicksand that is NYT-- ahem, I mean, starting this lovely fic from the beginning. :) Enjoy.

Oooh, Weasley bashing. I like how pathetic they're here. While I enjoy reading about their maternal/familiar side, deep down we all know they're evil and messed up ( . . . Like Harry. ^__~).

-- I liked the details on the ceremony.

The Luna bit was also gold. LOL, on her being straight forward.

Ginny is starting to seem insane again. I wonder where you'll take this.

Author's Response: I kind of always have seen the Weasleys that way, too. Hopefully not as bad as Harry, but there are some seriously weird dynamics going on in that family. And it'll go some interesting places, believe me...

Oh, gosh I want to punch these characters in the face. Draco, stop being an angsty pansy. Ginny, pleeeease, stop mooning over Harry. He cheated on you, left you in the loony-bin and is secretly evil. Gah!

That said, there is something addictive about your writing. Something that makes me care for Draco (who I just want to hug senseless here) and Ginny (who I do believe is being neurotic with her want for Harry). I'm quite enjoying this.

And I'm liking your Ron. Normally he's the "evil" one in the family, or he's not the one who's good, since he's so close to Harry. I like the fact that here he's the one making an effort to talk to Ginny.

It would make sense for him to be the first to see through Harry's crap, since he's known him for so long and always felt a little jealous of the boy-who-lived.

Hmmm, I hope he doesn't have a hidden agenda, though.

Author's Response: Thanks! :) Yes, I care about all of the characters in NYT, including some that you have yet to meet, but who are very central to what's going on. Ooh, I just love thinking of everything you haven't found about yet. ;)

They are one messed up bunch. I like Draco here. Yeah, I'm aware I've said that before, but I like how make him so Malfoy'ish, yet spoiled, yet broken, yet conceited -- and gosh, I do like him here. Even when he's being an arse.

I also like your Harry. Gosh he makes me love yo hate him.

'And for all that Harry had gone through the intense physical training of an Auror, he went down without a sound.' - *giggles*

Like I said, a little Harry-bashing never did any harm.

P.S. Sorry for the flood of reviews I'm leaving! *blushes*

Author's Response: Oh, NEVER be sorry for reviews. Never ever ever. :) I think that this was a Harry I loved to hate, and still do (because this fic really will get finished-- the next new chapter is almost done, in fact.) Draco's motivations for his actions at this point in the fic only really become comprehensible much later on, so hold that thought. ;)

'He kissed her very softly. “We find out.”' Just, Awww.

The plot is starting to get interesting (not that it was boring before, but it felt like an introduction and the reader couldn't really see what was coming next) and my curiosity is peeking.

Harry seems like he's going to turn out to be the next dictator. And Draco's secret left me curious.

I'm enjoying the DG interactions in this.

Author's Response: Thanks! Ohhhhh, Draco has a LOT of secrets. (snickers to self) And they'll be revealed, all in good time.

LOL, at Ginny thinking Draco was gay.

-- Wasn't expecting George to turn up. Really wasn't expecting a marriage tying him up with Zabini, but you convinced me.

AND made me want to read some Blaise/George. For your mental sake (while reading these reviews) there better be some decent stories with them around the interwebs. ^___~

Author's Response: I don't honestly know if there's a lot of B/G out there or not, but I just got an extremely strong image of them together. In Aniseworld, Blaise is always ambiguous in his sexual preferences at the very least, and I just have a very hard time seeing George as straight (although it has happened-- QatD's George was one.) Let me know if you find any B/G!

Did I mention how much I love your Ron? *loves*

-- Woow. Things are getting intense. (And my reviews are getting worse. I'll leave you a nice one in the eeeend of these 60 chapters. When I reach there. Promise!)

Author's Response: I love Ron, too. I see him as truly caring about his sister here.

Oooh, this chapter was fantastic. You do have a way to intertwine smut and make it work with the story line, . . Like many have been telling me.

This was wonderful. And the story is becoming very interesting.

I will, however leave now for I have to sleep, but I expect to return as soon as my life permits. ;)

Like I said in every other review this /does/ sound promising.

Author's Response: Thanks! And yes, sleep is good (having the flu right now, I can relate to that.) Things will get highly, highly interesting from here on out, I can promise you that. ;)

Wishes For Your Soul by Lirie Halliwell    (Reviews - 170)

The idea of "renting" her soul out to anyone - let alone a former Slytherin nemesis - did not sit well with Ginny Weasley. But circumstances always tend to go askew and when she finds herself in a dire position, Ginny has no choice but to relent, accepting the deal and the seven wishes offered as payment.

This is a fantastic. Very original! I fell in love with your characterisations (especially Draco, he is quite unique here, and the "madness" suits him well) and the plot kept us on edge. I also liked the humour present in this piece.

I am not sure if I like the open ending, but it does make sense to finish the story like that. I wonder what happens to Ginny...

Anyway, well done. This was a fabulous read. ;)

Camping in the Forest of Dean by idreamofdraco    (Reviews - 18)

Ginny, Draco, Harry, and Luna get dragged into going camping in the Forest of Dean with Ron and Hermione. In which Luna searches for Crumple-Horned Snorkacks, Harry tries to be Draco's friend, Hermione looks for firewood, Ron becomes a bear, Draco eats chicken, and Ginny learns that sometimes it's better just to bathe in a lake.

An adventure of the Muggle-iest sort! It's going to be in-tents!

Here I am *looks smugly at self*. I said that I would stalk you. u_u . I am actually reading this here since you only have two chapters on FFnet (see, I am good stalker too!)

You will also have the pleasure of receiving one of the first reviews I am giving in my new shiny FIA account. Oh, yes, I am a professional rambler. *winks*

To the point: I can't believe I didn't jump into this one sooner. I love the premise, and all the characters are spot on (though your Luna has a bit of an evil side).

This is truly amusing, also I love Hermione's excitement, and how Ron "made" everyone else tag along. I loved Luna's small revenge (at least the way I read it) by forgetting to explain to Draco how he should properly build the tent after he mocked her. I liked it. ^_~

On to the next chapter then (...)

Author's Response: Whoo! I feel so special. :D And I love your rambles. Luna is a bit evil in this. There's only so much crap a person can take before they start seeking revenge. :O But I don't think she really cares enough to *really* get back at anyone.

Aw, this is just perfect. I just love it, your humour is fantastic and I really laughed out loud when Ron and Hermione arrived at the camp site and found Harry and Luna attacking the chicken. Hermione is simply fabulous in this, I love how she is so upset over everyone not waking up on time (yet, she gave Ginny lunch which was a bit unfair since she was the last to wake up, but then they are best friends- ^_~).

And Malfoy smiling (it stunned me too), I love how the boys are all getting along.

*clicks next*

Author's Response: She gave Ginny lunch because Ginny didn't yell at her. :D The chicken part is my favorite, just sayin'.

The beginning is just downright cute. ^_^

... And the rest is downright hilarious. Oh dear, I actually feel sorry for the boys . . . poor blokes. I like how Luna is so oblivious to it all.

This was very entertaining to read. I hope you eventually update with more of their "adventures". :^)

Author's Response: I'm glad you've enjoyed the story so far. XD I do plan an updating this. Actually, Kim was fantastic enough to beta the fourth chapter for me, but I need to rewrite some things and I haven't gotten around to it yet. D: One day, Karla! One day! Thank you for all your lovely reviews! *hugsquish*

Crucio, A Love Story by Rosalie    (Reviews - 126)

“Let go!” I wail, pulling back from him with a frustrated cry. “I’ve got detention with Carrow and I can’t be late! Please just let go of me!”

He immediately releases me, his expression suddenly darkening. “Oh.” It’s all he can say. We both know what those detentions really are.

Ginny Weasley’s sixth year at Hogwarts is not at all what she expected. Harry’s gone to do something dangerous again, Death Eaters are teachers, and the cruciatus curse is a favorite punishment for misbehaving students… and blood-traitors. Dark but humorous, riddled with both angst and fluff, the events of Deathly Hallows told from Ginny’s point of view without the epilogue.

Written for jessicakmalfoy. Winner of Best Overall of the 2009 D/G Fic Exchange and Best Portrayal of Ginny Weasley. Nominated for Best Portrayal of Draco Malfoy and Best Kiss.

Endless thanks for the beta-ing to Jaden Malfoy.

Oh, I love happy endings. ^_~ And I loved this story, it was a very entertaining read from start to finish and I love this take on Draco and Ginny's relationship.

A wonderful bucket of dark fluff (at least the way I see it) . Thank you for sharing your work . And well done. :)

Author's Response: Yes, I like that you coined it as dark fluff. Glad that got across

Oh, the poor darling. This is hysterical, I literally laughed out loud with the end (and I'd expected it since I'd scrolled down before) but still I cracked up. This is brilliant.

Of course I don't agree with Draco's characterisation here and Ginny sounds like Narcissa (being his Mummy). Though I am sure he is a lovely piece of "hot stuff" I am not sure how she endures it . . . I do believe the fact that he's not a natural blond was the last straw for her.

Anyway his attitude suited the purpose of the drabble. Though in my mind Draco will always be blond. ^_~

You made it! *winks* This premise is lovely (I already reviewed in FFnet), and I am really curious to see what you do with the following chapters. I am curious about your review reply too, I suppose Ginny won't be doing too much talking.

I also like how you use the books (as a fraud) to introduce this Alternative Universe. Well done ;).

Looking forward to read more.

Author's Response: While Ginny won't TALK much, she will be doing a lot of thinking in the next chapter. You will see it soon enough. I might even give you a sneak preview at the DG forum. ;)
