Just started reading HP series in May 2006. After Ginevra was introduced fully in Year 2, I instantly started wanting Draco/Ginevra because I thought they'd be a great fit they are both purebloods and their families would have the hardest time accepting them. Then, I found D&G.com and the rest is history. Now, I'm here all the damn time reading fics. This is a great site with a collection of awesome work.

Is there anything during the christmas break that Ginny/Draco should be looking out for that unusual being that they were sent back in time to rewrite a wrong?

Sirius is just a bit forward isn't he? Spend, Christmas with me, when then they become 'friends'? I hope we get a chance to read about Cissa and Bella's parents, I wonder what they were like, Christmas should be interesting since everyone is paired up.

Author's Response: Well, see, it was originally Lily, and she figured it out, or something like that, and I was too tired to do a total rewrite, so I just edited it.

I liked the description of the dress, it was very visual. So, Sirius's brother has a thing for Ginny/Isendre how cute. So, I assume that he's closer to Cissa/Bella than Sirius is? And, what was up with that exchange between Isendre/Xavier was he just being a polite host, or was he making a overture at her? Anyway, great update. Take as long as you need, school is hectic I know. :)

Author's Response: Oh, Xavier was just being a polite host. And yeah, Regulus is the \'good son.\' ;)

Happy Early Birthday!

As always, I enjoy this story and it's pace. Though his declaration seemed a bit rushed but that's just me and this is your story. So, I gather that Bella/Cissa was in on Draco stupefying Isendre/Ginny? They were acting way to sneaky. I am beginning to miss my Sirius though :( I hope he had a nice Christmas break. Great as usual, looking forward as always.

And again. Happy. Happy. Happy. Birthday!

Author's Response: Ha ha, alright, I\'ll bring Sirius back in soon. Thanks for the birthday wishes! I\'m glad SOMEONE reads the Author\'s Notes ;)

I was so happy to read that Sirius was thrown back in there. Maybe he took his pirating a little too far with the whole drinking of the firewhiskey but I guess it suited him in the long run. As for Draco, Ginny should know how protective the boy has become over her. Great update.

Author's Response: Isn\'t it SUCH a Sirius thing? I can just totally see him doing that.

Draco's so tempermental, but Sirius didn't have to go after him like that either, it's funny they both like the same girl in different ways from another.

Someone needs to tie him up somewhere he could have killed Gin out there, thankfully the boys came. Where was Peter when Remus had turned?

Author's Response: Well, you know how those Marauders are, gallavanting about the grounds during full moons ;) Um, Peter was probably around there somewhere, but he didn\'t have much relevance to the chapter, so I didn\'t put him in.

I've been looking for this story for such a long time, and finally it was found.(Thanks Mynuet)This is one of my fave stories that you've written, I like the hot/cold factor in which they interacted with one another. Especially Ginny having the realization that she liked him despite his faults and he smells good, and anyone that smells good you can sorta kinda get over them being an ass. Great story HC, I still get giddy reading it everytime.

Crossing into Chaos by Emeral_eyes    (Reviews - 512)

*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).

Author's Response: I love spreading the HYD love! I think it\'s actually my secret motivation for writing this fic, so that I could expose D/G fans to the awesomeness of HYD. I haven\'t seen Tokyo Tower, but I will be sure to check it out.

Heelarious. That is what the narc gets for messing with her. I really do enjoy D and G's back and forth neener neenering. It's funny that they both know what to say and do to humiliate and hurt eachother, but then back off at the same time when they known it's going to far. I have watched HYD and bought the DVD after your suggestion. It's seriously one of the best kept secrets out there. Also, just to comment on what Imelda said, I think Hope used Cho because it's an homage to HYD being that Cho is japanese/korean and that is where the series was based.

Above all, gj Hope, excellent story.

Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you thought it was funny, because I was all afraid that I was this giant nerd with some warped sense of humor and no one would find it even faintly amusing. Did you watch the 9 episode dorama, or the 51 episode anime? Because they are fairly different, but I\'ve been kind of bouncing back and forth between them... In any case, I have to agree with you, HYD is great, and I\'m glad you enjoyed it! Honestly, I really just used Cho because she\'s the only canon character who fit the criteria (slightly older, pretty, potentially pureblood -it\'s never said either way in the books- with a skill that would take her away from the setting), so I used her. I didn\'t want to bring in an OC... but I like your reasoning better! : )

Hey Again, Hope.

To answer your questions, I watched the nine Japanese versions that you linked to your story. First, watching them on Youtube then purchasing them on Ebay. I’ve yet to catch the anime version of HYD though; I’ll look into it since you’re penning your tale based on some of their interactions. Maybe, I shouldn’t though to leave some kind of impending suspense to your tale.

If you are a nerd then so am I. I have a perverse sense of humor when it comes to things, you showcase a lot of hilarity in this story the subtlety of it is what I enjoy the most.

Also, Ginerva knows exactly what she’s doing here; she and Draco are doing some kind of twisted dance.
He pushes, she pulls and they are having trouble with the knot.

Another thing noticing the impending look Draco gave while still half-canary wallowing on the ground. He observed the smile/flirtatious look Ginerva gave Zabini and it pained him.

Does Draco consider Ginerva as his possession? Only reason I ask, because your description of Draco when he reacts when he feels as though something is his and he hordes it like it’s a treasure protecting it from others.

He's made it a point to tell Ginerva that he’d bought her, the night of the gathering at Rosmerta’s, and even though she corrected him more than once on the subject he still wanted her to acknowledge that he paid for her and was his.

But in this case, he doesn’t want Ginerva and yet he doesn’t want anyone else to have her either, it’s like the old saying. He wants to be the one that makes her the happiest and yet hurt her the most at the same time. Or perhaps, I’m over analyzing things as I’ve done before. Anyway, those were just more of my runaway thoughts on the topic. :)

Author's Response: Draco certainly does consider Ginny his possession. He even said that to Pansy, that Ginny is *his*. Whether or not he realizes this fact-that she\'s becoming something he considers part of his hoarde - or not is another story! You\'re the first person to pick up on that comparison and the hoarding comment! It\'s kind of key to some character development later on, so I\'m THRILLED that you picked it up! And it\'s not so much that he *doesn\'t* want her, it\'s more of that he doesn\'t know he wants her yet, but he certainly doesn\'t want anyone else to have her.

Hope.Hope.Hope. You've done it in this chapter. This is the turning point of the story. Whether Ginverva and Draco become friends, or become complete enemies. I am both shocked and in awe that Ginerva would allow him to get close enough to touch her after he'd just tried to curse her into oblivion. Until she was "saved" by Blaise in his own unique way.

The part of the story that really struck me, was when Ginerva asked him hadn't he done enough to her when he'd cornered her. I wasn't expecting that because she'd put up this brave front whenever they'd come into contact that his actions hadn't affected her when in actuality they did. That was my fave part. Thanks so much for the story Hope. I look forward to your next update.

Author's Response: Poor Ginny had nothing left to fight with by that point, she had no choice but to let him close. Thank you so much. I also really enjoy that line, because it shows how vulnerable she really is, despite the brave front, and the fact that it\'s Draco who sees her at this point... well, it\'s all a part of my \"master plan\" *evil laugh*

Hope. How could you say this wasn't an exciting chapter until the very end? You must have no idea how good of a storyteller you are then, because I found myself in a trance-like state reading it.

I really did enjoy the conversation between Hermione/Ginny. I could see from her perspective why she’d view their situation that way, I liked the analogy that she used saying Draco was child that broke their favorite toy and wanted it to be fixed so it could play some more. Those damn Deatheaters are scary, I hope a change will come soon because they are a scary/bullying lot who hide behind a mask, why not show your face? Ashamed, I bet.

Regarding Pansy, I actually felt sorry for her, she may be a horrible trollian wench, but I think with the age of which they live in, it's been put into her head that she MUST marry someone of the same stature like Blaise and Draco and so she's been doing anything neccessary in *her* world to accomplish that, plus she's leads by their own example of destroy and conquer, so now that Ginny has come into play and those two are showing a different side of themselves in regards to her it's thrown Pansy off kilter, so she doesn't know how to react to the new situation. Perhaps in her mind she's gone about it the wrong way this whole time trying to be *like* them that she's lost herself a little along the way. I also find Pansy amusing she reminds me of Amber from the movie Clueless for some reason, she can’t help herself when the opportunity presents itself to say vile things when she comes into contact with the competition.

For some odd reason, I felt that Cho was sizing Ginny up after she'd taken her back into her room. I don't know if you intended for it to come off that way but it did. Cho knows that Blaise is in love with her, she can't be oblivious to the way he fawns over her. But, the comment about her having to meet Ginny because he talks about her so much just made that lightbulb go off for me. She wants Blaise to be happy and move on, but at the same time she doesn't because he may be the only constant thing in her life she can come back to without feeling like a *psuedo-celeb* he'll treat her the same as before. It's a slippery slope she's on though because Blaise may just fall for Ginny, and Cho's subtle manipulations of encouraging him to be friends with her will backfire once he sees that their may be a future with Ginny unlike Cho who's always on the move.

Draco really needs to pull himself to together, his mask of sanity is about to slip. This is probably the first time in his life that he’s been pulled towards a person that utterly despises him and yet still affects his senses in a overwhelming manner. He’s probably never competed against anyone
In his life for the attentions of another whether it be positive or negative, and the lack of interest the person, Ginny being that person now is eating at him. I noticed too when he kissed her the second time around that he said “Just be a good girl and hold still” and not like he said her before when he was healing her “Hold still, stubborn weasel”. I wonder will Ginny notice how he left off the “weasel” this time around. I can understand Ginny being more shook up after the second kiss, because the first one was a fluke/joke but Draco had given thought about the second one, it wasn’t a spur of a moment thing. I had to crack up though when Draco told Ginny if she told anyone about the kiss that he’d kill her, it brought me right back to the HYD after every semi-sweet moment, Doumyouji would threaten to kill Makino if she told anyone what he’d done.

Ooh, another thing what will come of Daniel Jacobs I know Blaise/Draco will kiss and makeup eventually after their quarrel but I’d find it hilarious if they seen Ginny out with him somewhere in Hogsmeade. I’d love to see their reactions to her out with someone else even if it is platonic. That’s it though from me, I’ve rambled on and dissected every little thing about this chapter, LOL. Great job as usual HOPE, I look forward to your next update, the crackhead in me can’t wait until your next fix. :)

Author's Response: Oh my goodness, there is so much here I want to respond to, but I don\'t even know where to start... I\'ll probably be babbling about this chapter on my LJ for awhile, there\'s so much in your review I want to talk about! Re: the Hermione/Ginny coversation. I tend to use Hermione as my \"Greek chorus\" a bit, the person who is pretty much on the outside and who has no chance of becoming involved on the action (because she\'s Muggle born). But that doesn\'t necessarily mean she\'s always right. Even Ginny is a little sceptical about her thoughts as to what Draco\'s motivations were. It sounds convincing, but is there more to it? We\'ll have to see... Because it will come up again (like, 20 chapters down the road, but it will come up again). And what you said about the Death Eaters hiding behind their masks totally freaked me out, because the entire time I was writing the chapter, I had this song called \"Covered in Cowardice\" by Billy Talent on my playlist, and the lyrics were so perfect that I almost put the chorus as a preface to the chapter, but decided it didn\'t work with the overall feel of the entire chapter. Re: Pansy. Yep, she\'s one screwed up little cookie. But you\'re right, most of it is that she just doesn\'t know any better, because she\'s been taught to treat others so terribly. And she certainly doesn\'t know how to handle competition - at least not from someone like Ginny. Because even before all this happened, she picked on the girl, because there is something about Ginny that intimidates her and she has no idea how to handle that other than to just pick away at her. But to see her attracting such attention from Draco is a real blow to her, because while she\'s used to other girls throwing herself at Draco, it\'s the first time she\'s really seen this kind of response from him, and it\'s just a huge blow to her ego. Re: Cho. Part of it is sizing Ginny up, but not exactly because of jealousy. She\'s preparing to take off again on tour and stuff, and she\'s trying to get a feel for how Ginny feels about him, because she wants to be able to leave without feeling guilty for leaving Blaise all alone. There\'s a bit more as well, but we\'ll get to that in the next chapter. Re: Draco. He has no idea how he really feels, because this has never happened to him before. He\'s irrationally jealous and ANGRY whenver he sees Ginny and Blaise together, and all common sense just flies out the window for him. He can\'t be rational about Ginny - she\'s already become his Achilles heel, and they haven\'t really interacted THAT much yet. But she\'s fascinating and different and complete unafraid of insulting him. If and when he decides he wants her (which, let\'s face it, it\'s a D/G fic, so he ultimately will), he\'s going to have to fight for her, and work really hard to get her, because there is a LOT of prejudice working against him, and he\'s never had to work for anything he\'s ever wanted in his life. Re: the weasel comments. In the last chapter, when he called her a stubborn weasel, he was angry with her for being so stubborn, refusing to give in and getting herself hurt in the process. But I\'m glad you mentioned it, because I don\'t know if you\'ve noticed, but whenever anyone calls her by that name, it\'s always the Weasel, whereas with Draco, it\'s weasel. With him, it\'s not a label that he\'s applying to her, it\'s more like an adjective. He doesn\'t see her as The Weasel, he doesn\'t label her that way. And ooh, he was not happy when she asked if anyone saw them, and that is why he threatened her. I loved the \"I\'ll kill you\" moments in HYD so much, because Domyouji was always trying to mask his mushy soft spot for her with that kind of gruffness, but here, there\'s a bit more to it. He\'s DRACO MALFOY, and he just kissed a bloody Weasley in a magic fairy garden because he saw and understood that she was devastated that the romantic ideal she\'d had in her mind was completely destroyed by that magic mistletoe, and it was amazing, but as soon as it\'s over, her first concern is that someone saw them. He took that as an insult, and responded in the only way he knows how - threats. Re: Daniel Jacobs. It took me forever to figure out who you were talking about, lol! He was just a throw-away name, we won\'t be seeing him again. Oh my goodness, I still have so much more I could say, but *I\'ve* rambled on enough for now. Thanks for the review, I really appreciate your comments, especially because they give me an excuse to respond to some of the aspects of the fic I don\'t get to talk about all that much!

Date: Sep 27, 2006 Title: Chapter 9: The Other Shoe Drops

Snape is such an ass-hat. Since Ginny is afraid of closed spaces I'm wondering what happened to her, did one of her brothers stuff her somewhere once and leave her there it seems to have really shaken her up badly and she's yet to get over it, I hope she overcomes that.

Tonks rocks, anyone that can hex Draco and have him disheveled, while mocking him openly gets applause from me. That is what I loved most about HYD, how utterly violent Tsubaki was to Doumyouji, it always made me giggle.

Also when Pansy came across Ginny in the hallway and Draco intervened before she had a chance to hex her, was he following Ginny/Pansy or was he just casually walking through the hall and noticed what was about to take place. He seems to be in all the right/wrong places when it comes to Gin.

Cho/Blaise, that girl has him eating out the palm of her hand. It's inevitable that she'll hurt him. I feel sorry for him, that she can't/won't tell him her feelings,I understand why because of her profession and she doesn't want to keep him waiting, but at least give the boy some kind of hope of what's to come.

Lastly, who couldn't resist the charms of Draco in the art of wooing a girl. Surely, Ginny is going to take him up on his offer. Just looking into those gray anger-edged eyes and hearing his temper tinged request should have her falling over herself to meet him. ;)

Great as usual Hope, I look forward to your next update and endless cookies on your site.

Author's Response: We will certainly find out why Ginny is afraid of closed-in spaces and I\'m so excited to get to that part, because it becomes SO VERY IMPORTANT waaaaayyyyy down the line, but still. It lays the groundwork for it, and I\'m excited to finally be able to write the scene! Hooray!

I\'m glad that Tonks seems to be well-received, I was worried that I\'d distorted her way to much. I loved the HYD relationship between the siblings, and especially because it shows Domyouji in such an interesting light - because he has so many strong-willed women in his life, and he chooses Makino, another female with an \"iron will\". I just love that fact, and needed a \'big sister\' to fill in that role.

Actually, the scene with Pansy in the hallway was supposed to be cut, I just forgot to cut it before I posted the chapter. He just came across her, but he\'s got a bit of a \"Ginny radar\", in that he always seems to be aware of her and what\'s going on around her.

Poor Blaise... He\'s going off to get his heart stomped on, and Draco knows it and yet he encourages him to go anyway (did you catch that? That Ginny\'s speech came a little too late, because he\'d already gotten it? From Draco? Who got it from Tonks?) Cho tried to let him go, knowing she\'d hurt him, but he refuses to BE let go. But we have to give her some amount of credit for even trying to let him go, because, dude, the Blaise in this fic? Is incredibly hot. Like, INCREDIBLY HOT, and there are few women who could stand up to his incredible hotness, which just goes to show how much Cho really does love him.

Hehehe, Draco is so incredibly clueless about how to act around a girl that he likes. Before he realized it, it was easier to just argue, yell, tease and be mean to her, but now... he\'s a little thrown off his balance and lacking in the finer attributes of social grace.

Whoa! Great Chapter.

Pansy/Draco/Ginny - I really do love Pansy seriously. She's such a bitchy girl but she was made that way. I found it hilarious how Gin was oblivious to the fact that she was asked out rather than challeged. Draco was smart in how he'd approached her but ultimately if it got back to Tonks it'll get back to his parents and I'm sure they'll piece in together how he didn't return home the following night.

Ginny/Hermione/Tonks - I liked that they got to spend a girls day out together, since recently they've been thrown into some pretty heavy dealings, being the death eaters and their uncanny ability to throw your life into turmoil instantly. I was surprised to see Tonks show up there, but I was glad that she did. Her giving Ginny the insight on Draco was the catalyst for this chapter, go Tonks nosey woman. Also, do we assume that Tonks dropped Hermione off after she'd thrown all those books by Gin?

Ginny/Draco/DE/Claustrophobia - I especially enjoyed where you took that issue. I kept wondering and wondering why the hell Gin was scared to death of enclosed spaces. Even though Gin is terrified/hates Snape to exploit her weakness, I think he just wants her to accept/confront that issue and ultimately get over it. Because it'll forever hold her back, and she'll probably have to deal with it again but in a more dangerous situation in the future, I'm sensing hopefully she'll overcome it down the road. The one thing that I enjoyed most about this whole chapter is the fact that Draco listened rather than judge her during the last bit, even after she'd accused him of being like his parents and the people in which they hold company with. I guess she needs to realize that he 'isn't' them, but at the same time he needs to show more of that instead of enforcing those prejudices she holds against him, being that he's from that background. I really look forward to them having that conversation on where he stands because ultimately to win her over he'll have to state his allegiance, since she's made it clear where hers' is.

I've gone on far enough. Great chapter, looking forward to all your next updates. :)

Whoa! How exciting all of this was. I loved the talk that Tonks/Draco had about Ginny. He really is clueless and selfish, he just wants to roll with the punches that is them as a 'couple' in regards to his parents. I hope he takes into account what Tonks said about Gin's safety, because she's right being the woman in Draco's life will have it's share of problems.

Gin talking with Sirius was something that she needed, though Hermione is her friends and confidant sometimes you need another view point on the situation, Sirius gave her that. Plus she needed to vent, it's good he was there for her when needed.

As much as, I love possessive/jealous Draco, his whole demeanor in regards to her being in love with Blaise is rather odd. Why in the hell would he knowingly tell her it's okay to see him and pursue something because he knows it'll be a failure. Perhaps Blaise eyes will open and see Ginny for the girl she is and want her as she him, but dumb ass Draco goes and open the door for it. Now, I know it most likely won't happen, but I'd like to see his expression if Blaise took her up on it.

Finally, that was an awesome cliffhanger to this story. This is one of the things I hated most about HYD that Makino being basically assaulted was never addressed fully as where her being assaulted during the first go-round with Rui saving her. These folks were never held accountable for their actions, hopefully you'll explore it more.

Great Chapter as usual, loved it.

Author's Response: Oh, Rashonda, what where would I be without your reviews? Where to begin....

Re: Draco and Tonks\' conversation... I SO loved writing that scene, just because we get to see Draco REALLY ruffled and see where he\'s coming from, in relation to Ginny. The poor boy feels as if he has no control over his feelings for her and it\'s new and strange and he\'s not quite sure how to deal with it, and he\'s just so clueless about love and what a proper relationship is like, everything comes out all twisted (like their \"lunch date\"?? Where he sends his goons to get her? Hee, the poor boy is CLUELESS). But, Draco is ultimately still Draco, so he\'s constantly scheming and plotting, so we\'ll see if Tonks is right or not.

Were you surprised that Sirius was alive or wasn\'t the escaped prisoner? I\'m surprised that no one has commented on that yet, I thought that would have been a bit more shocking, as a few have assumed that it would be him. But yeah, when you live away from home and you just need an adult\'s shoulder to cry on, even the best friend in the world can\'t substitute the comfort that comes with an adult, so I wanted Ginny to have that moment. Before things become worse for her...

The only reason he\'s telling her it would be okay, is because he is 100000% that it would never work. So, he wouldn\'t lose her, because she\'d come running back. In terms of whether or not that\'ll ever be an option with Blaise, we\'ll have to see...

I definitely intend to explore the assault issue a lot more. It really bugged me and my feminist principles that Domyouji was painted as the victim and that MAKINO is the one who did wrong, when she was DRUGGED. There\'ll be some repercussions here, don\'t you worry about that!!

I am just grateful that you decided to post anything. I adore this story, Ginny and Draco's push/pull relationship keeps me coming back. And, I see Pansy is still being Pansy she'll never learn. Hopefully Hermione takes Gin's advice she doesn't need to be there with all of this mess going around. Oh, and who was the mysterious DE that came and ultimately saved Gin? I'm curious. Anywho, great job as usual!

Author's Response: Thanks Rashonda! Pansy will always be Pansy - I try to keep her as one-dimensional as possible. This way, her only real threat to Ginny is annoying her to death! : ) Thanks for sticking with me, more to come soon, I promise.

I was so psyched to see that you'd updated this story. I did read bits and pieces on your LJ too leading up to the update as well though, and it was better than what I'd already expected.

I like how you've transitioned the story. Narcissa and Draco's relationship is ice cold. Will you be having Lucius interact with Draco anytime soon? I just bet that relationship is just as intense as he with his mother's.

As for Gin, shouldn't she know by now that Draco acts like a perpetual wounded animal ready to strike out at anytime? It doesn't excuse what he said to her, but after what they'd been through she could at least act a bit more civil to him, without the constant ready-to-rumble stance she puts on. But, I don't blame her either after all the pain/grief he'd caused her.

Lastly, the re-emergence of Blaise should add more angst to the fold for Draco, because he knows Gin's mild obsession with him. Though, I did enjoy him flustering her with his comment that she's who he wants, he always manages to get that in, and everytime he says it, she gets flustered by it. Thanks so much for the update, I look forward to the next chaps. And, hopefully myPans will return too with her snottiness. GJ, as usual.

Hope, I can not believe that I've been reading this story for the past 6 years and it's still as exciting as it was when I first read it. You are the reason why I started watching all of these K-Drama's and though I know how HYD ends, I enjoy your interpretation and turning it into the D&G because it fits so well. I will continue to read as long as you continue to write! GJ as always.

Author's Response: Thanks Rashonda!! Your continued support means a lot!! When I stop and think that I've been writing this for 6 years, I have to remember that there are a few who have been READING it for 6 years. That's pretty incredible!!

Hope! Great to have you back. You wouldn't believe it but over the past few days, I've been re-reading this story. So, when I seen that this story was updated, I really had to do a double take, because I'd gotten so engrossed in it again.

Now, I have to wonder about Blaise. Is he seeking out Ginny to un-nerve Draco, or does he actually want her now. Seeing as though, he knows that she still holds some kind of interest in him, despite her feeling for Draco that she continues to try and push aside. If, he is intentionally going after her to spite him that would be all kinds of wrong.

Or, if he's following Cho's initial advice and trying to pursue something with her? It's so left up in the air, either way I hope Draco doesn't end up almost killing him, because it's inevitable that a fight will ensue, especially if you're still following the HYD storyline, and if you are that will be both funny and sad.

I liked Hermione's assessment of the situation, she has good insight on what is jumbled in Gin's head. I wonder when Gin will come to the realization herself though and stop fighting her feelings for the boy, as infuriating the acknowlegement will be. Oh, and good for Draco for at least making an effort with Hermione it's progress. It reminded me of the convo with Blaise about he and Draco doing things differently then what their elders did.

As for Draco and his bruised ego/heart towards the end. I can see why he'd be frustrated with her at this point, but at the same time. He told her earlier on that he'd wait for her to come to her senses that inevitably she'd be his, even after Blaise returned and would try to woo her. But, I guess now that the competition has arrived again, it's a bit much for him. Hopefully, things work themselves out. GJ, Hope. Glad that you're back. :)
