It's an old spell and an older oath, and Draco Malfoy would have laughed them off were he not in his present situation. Things being as they are, however, being married to Ginny Weasley might just be the answer to his problems. Pre-HBP.Category: Long and Completed
This story has to be my favourite D/G fic. I love everything about it. It's so warm and witty and one of those stories I just keep coming back to. Thanks so much for this fic!
Even if he only got a glimpse of her flame-coloured hair around a corner, it was enough. Enough to keep him breathing. Alive.Category: Works in Progress
Disclaimer: Harry Potter and all of the characters in his world are the property of J.K. Rowling and multiple movie companies and publishing houses. They get all of the money, I only get the pleasure of *breathy sigh* using Draco.
Have just finished reading and this is incredible! I love your version of Ginny and Draco, and I love the way you make them fit together. Can't wait for more!
Scorpius Malfoy's parents were never around, and left him in the care of his nanny, Ginny Weasley. He grew up blissfully under her care, brought up with the Weasley ideals of courage, honor, and loyalty. Then when he turns 7, his father comes home, and Scorpius' simple world falls apart.Category: Works in Progress
Wow, that was a very good update, and a good twist, although it now means lots of awkwardness. I'm interested to see the real reason why Ginny rejected Draco
Author's Response: Thanks!! Lots of awkwardness...yeah, you could say that...
After playing a card game, Draco and Blaise win a pair of tickets onto the MMS Potter, the first wizarding ship to set sail from Britain to Nova Scotia. Draco seeks adventure and ends up finding much more.Category: Works in Progress
I like this, it's very good! And I second the motion of the previous reviewer... if those passengers die...
Looking forward to an update!
Wow, is all I can say! You're really going somehwre with this. I love how depthful it is! And Draco killed Snape, hey? Looking forward to more revelations!
Glad there's been more G/D interaction...can't wait for more!
Draco and Ginny reminisce about their Hogwarts days as they prepare for an anniversary party.Category: Completed Short Stories
Aww, that was great. I loved the parallels especially. A sweet fic, and really cheered me up!
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
Sequel to "The Broken Road."Category: Works in Progress
I'm glad for a sequel, as I loved the Broken Road and despaired at its almost brief ending. You're off to a good start (I love Pansy!) but I do hope this doesn't become too angsty or anything. Draco and Ginny's dynamic here seems different from previously, (I don't know whether that is deliberate) and they seem to have a possessive/irrational side (well, mostly Draco, I would have expected him to be the tiniest bit sympathetic as to why Ginny wasn't at dinner on time). Interested to see what Ginny's reason is for not wanting to marry him, I just hope there isn't too much heart break and that they have the same lovely chemistry they did in BR
Nineteen years after the Deathly Hallows, Harry and Ginny are married but their eldest son is just twelve years old. This story is about those missing seven years: six of which Ginny spent slapping, snogging and falling in love with Draco Malfoy.Category: Works in Progress
Wow, that was an amazing start!!
“There’s this mirror,” she told him. “And I need to use it.”Category: Completed Short Stories
Winner of Darkest Fic and Best Interpretation of the Prompt at the 2008 D/G Fic Exchange.
Wow, that was really good! What an amazing idea! I don't think I've ever read a fic where the Weasleys follow Voldemort (even if it was an what if scenario here). I think it would be nice if maybe you did a fic where Ginny's family was rich and Draco's poor- that has lots of scope.
Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this, I'm just sad it's a short one :(
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
I haven't read a D/G fic in a while, but yours has lured me back in :D
I love how you've stayed away from most cliches- like Ginny marrying Lucius instead of Draco, and giving a reason for going to a muggle pub (as opposed to Ginny, a witch, randomly deciding to go to a muggle pub instead of a wizard one). I love the tentative relationship between Draco and Ginny. I can't wait to find out who the muggle is (presumably Draco, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were Harry)
Author's Response: Thanks! My goal was to keep it a bit more original, but I was worried about the feedback. I just got so bored reading the standard plotlines, and when this idea hit me, it wouldn\'t let go until I started writing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give feedback.
Hugs

Draco doesn't remember their past together, and now she's just a Weasley to him. Ginny will do anything -jump through all the hoops, pose as an interior decorator, tap dance -ANYTHING- to break the spell that erased his memory and make him love her again.Category: Long and Completed
This is really good. Looking forward to more. You said it was a sequel, but the prequel isn't on your fic list?
Author's Response: Hi starry! Um, the thing is I wrote the prequel when I was younger, so much younger than today ;p...so much so, that it was 2002. And the thing is, I have a hard enough time as is getting my recent stuff up. You do NOT want to see what my grammar is like on that prequel. It was my first ever fic. I did try to get it up here, but the list of corrections sent back to me was longer than the chapter itself, and I just gave up! lol. It's a good fic, but I know this one is so much better, so I decided to upload this instead. Thanks for reviewing! ^_^
I really like where you're going with this. The characters are spot on.
Author's Response: Glad to have you back! And I'm glad that you think that even in these rather melodramatic circumstances Draco is still Draco-ish and Gin is still Gin! Thanks for reviewing. ^_^
Yay, you updated. I'm glad you do so quickly, because I do love your stuff ^ ^. This was heartbreaking. I really felt sad for Ginny. I get the feeling this will like 50 first dates a bit!!
I hope Draco comes around soon (but at the same time, it'll be nice to see Ginny fight to get him back), if not by the time he does remember she might decide to go off with Harry and then he'll be screwed^ ^.
I like how Narcissa is a goodie in this
:D
Author's Response:
I LOVE your reviews! Thanks so much. You know, I've never seen 50 First Dates, even though I love Adam Sandler, but I keep hearing about it! i should check it out. Anyway, I'm glad you like Narcissa. I wanted to make her a goodie, but not a ninny, or a wimp, you know what I mean? I don't like totally evil Narcissa, but I don't like raggedydoll Narcissa either! I wanted to make her basically good, but with just a bit of darkness in her.
Glad you're enjoying this, and yeah, I try to update frequently, because as a reader, I hate it when writers leave off updating fics for long periods of time, and my track record is NOT good. I once spent five years without updating a fic (the prequel to this).Really. I started it in 2002 and finished it a couple of months ago, so I'm making sure that doesn't happen again!!
Again, great chapter! I love that the D/G is brewing again and am looking forward to seeing what direction it goes in. Btw, I noticed there were a few Americanisms, like referring to the Oprah book club - we don't have that here! But, if you need a Brit picker *waves and smiles*
Author's Response: starry! Glad you like the way this is going! It only gets better from here, at least, that's what I intend! lol. Thanks for pointing out about the Americanisms! I have trouble with those, in most of G/D fics! LOL.
100th review, woot! Have looked everyday in case you updated this! Glad you did :D I loved it, especially the Draco getting jealous bit. The massage scene was indeed enjoyable and I'm glad Draco's true feelings are finally coming out!
Author's Response:
Starry! Yay, 100th review! Very cool! You know,I've never gotten to be anyone's 100th, but I rejoice when I round out any amount. Ahahha. "Oooh, I'm the 20th reviewer!". :D
Checking back every day for an update, huh? That means you're hooked! ^_^ I'm very glad you liked this one. From here on there will be a shift in the emotional focus of the whole thing from Ginny to Draco. :) I will try to update a bit faster. Thanks so much!
Ginny draws her heart on paper and puts it in the hands of fate.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was wonderful and I particularly loved the Blaise/Luna bits
Author's Response: Those parts were fun to write/imagine. I could just see them frolicking in the forest looking for Merlin knows what.
Having characters that don't have a strict canon characterisation gives you some freedom to bring in elements that you might not get otherwise. They're probably my second favourite pairing.
Ginny never thought Draco Malfoy would become her guardian...But then, he never thought she would become his.One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
I can't believe you killed him!! But as always, beautiful writing. You gave your characters such a tenderness, and put a twist on the Ginny-captor thing. Loved it!
Author's Response: I'm sorry! I know, this is the third fic in which I've killed off Draco, I was thinking about that yesterday... :(
But thanks so much for your compliment, I'm glad you liked it! ^_^
"Draco Malfoy is a widely acknowledged git." The discovery of an enigma.Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow, that was beautifully written. Took my breath away! I love this concept and your style of writing!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm especially glad you like the concept... and my style. :)
Draco brings out thirteen darn good excuses, but none of them seem to be working. Inspired by this site's "blanket" skin.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was really good...and really sweet ^ ^
Author's Response: Aw, thanks... :)
Ginny has lost her shoe, and thus begins her bad day. Who could have possibly taken it from her?Category: Completed Short Stories
Aww, that was really good! Orignal story line too.
There seems to be a problem with the text though, I'm not sure if it's just my computer. It seems to have programming script in, especially in the first paragraph?
Author's Response: I fixed some of it, but one part is being particularly stubborn. Thanks for the heads up and the review. I'll figure out how to fix the coding. :)
A story of falling.Category: Long and Completed
That was really beautifully written. You definitely took the prompt and flew away with it :D I think I would have liked a few more scenes in the time gaps. There was a big jump from their teasing banter to becoming friends, and it would have been nice to see a bit more snark there, but then maybe the snark belonged in a different story, and more of it would have seemed a bit awkward. The jumps probably emphasise the point of the story, so with each leap of the story you feel the "vertigo" feeling :D I love your way of writing- the metaphors, attention to detail and emotion. I think it's obvious that you put your heart into writing this.
I got the impression that the first part of this story linked on to the ending of this? If so, i thought that was really clever ^ ^
Author's Response: Yes, there are three sections, and the very first part fits in between the second and third parts. At the exchange I actually gave them subheadings, but I never liked the device, and decided to see if people thought it was too confusing without. I wanted to show a really kind of one-sided romance full of self-denial, and I did think that I skipped a lot, but it just felt right... I think you're on to something there and maybe that's what I was thinking subconsciously. This whole thing was all written "it just feels right like this" and when I was done and sat back and reread it, I was really shocked to see how the vertigo/falling theme worked its way out!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for reviewing!
A chubby Draco and the physical trainer from hell. What more can I say? A D/G twist on dieting and an ending sweeter than candy floss. Enjoy. :)Category: Long and Completed
Loved it! Especially Ginny's interaction with Harry and her brother. I know how to do the 'I'm very disappointed in you' look too well :D
Author's Response: That was so much fun to write. Thanks so much! I'm loving reading all these nice reviews (it's my birthday... and the reviews are like little presents!!!)
I really like this. It's such an original concept. And Domineering!Ginny is kind of funny!
Author's Response: Thank you! Ginny is actually based on a real person... my kickboxing instructor.
I thought it was wonderful! And I think the serious tone is a great impetus for the story
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the feedback! Best wishes! -G
