Successful business mogul Draco Malfoy has nothing on his wish list for Christmas - he already has it all. That is, until someone reminds him of what he gave up long ago to get there. Based on the movie of the same name.Category: Long and Completed
I got so excited when I saw a new story from you! And so far I'm truly hooked!! Can't wait for more! x.
Author's Response: Hi! Glad to see you around for this one too! I hope you'll like it, bit of a different pace to the last one. Thank you for letting me know you're about, makes my day to hear you like it :)
Oh this is exciting! I don't want to watch the movie until I finish this.. How many chapters are you planning on? x.
Author's Response: I'm a rubbish planner so I don't have a number - I will be plaguing the poor saints in submission with pretty regular updates now as I'd failed to notice I have to be done by the 22nd! So that should leave you time to watch the movie - which is a guilty pleasure of mine. Hope you'll enjoy this until then :)
Loved it! You were really serious about your updating schedule weren't you? :) x.
Author's Response: Super serious! Christmas fic after Christmas is just not the same!
A thought came to mind-- this was not how Draco expected his week to go, babysitting a werewolf's child with the help of a Weasley. What had he done to deserve this?Category: Works in Progress
Oh I already love this story!! I lost track of time this morning reading and that’s always a good sign!
x.
Author's Response: Ahh, thanks so much! Excited to see what you think of the next chapter :)
This is one of the best chapters I’ve read of anything in a very long time!
I was hooked the entire day cause I started reading as I was having breakfast but u could finish it then and every spare moment of the day I’ve had I read a few paragraphs at a time. Fantastic writing and all of the emotions were so real I loved it! I’m hoping there’s at least a bit more to follow!
Oh that was lovely! Will there be more or is this it? That last bit with teddy left me wanting more lol
Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you! This is the end, actually, but maybe at some point I'll do a one-shot for it! :)
For the life of her, Ginny Weasley did not know how this had happened. She could have blamed the two glasses of expensive champagne, or considered the possibility of being put under the Imperius Curse, but she knew deep down that that was not the case. Somehow, she had knowingly and wilfully ended up here. Shit.Category: Works in Progress
Oh wow I loved this chapter!
Enough details but not overpowering. I enjoyed the pace you took with this one, it really kept me on my toes but it still felt like a natural progression for their relationship. I haven’t read anything in a while that explored the relationship first before jumping head first into all the family drama and expectations so that was a breath of fresh air.
Cannot wait for more, I am truly loving your writing style and your characterization of both Draco and Ginny.
x
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really wanted to explore the dynamic between Draco and Ginny before I introduced the other canon characters. I am glad you are enjoying their 'courtship' (Draco would probably call it that, and then get mad when Ginny makes fun of him! God, I love those two together!)
I hope you will continue to read.
Cheers x
Ooohhh I’m on the edge of my seat!!!
What a great way to end it with Ron stopping Draco!
I’m hoping this could be the out for Draco.
Like he still on the correct side but because nothing comes easy to him he still has to be involved in both sides type of way which is the exact opposite of what he wants as he doesn’t want to be involved at all.
Cannot wait for the next one!
Author's Response: Thank you!!
This story is about Draco and Ginny, but writing Draco's dynamics with Harry or Ron is very much fun. I have a feeling you'll see a bit more of that. And lots, lots more of Draco and Ginny of course! Glad to know that you're enjoying this story! :D
Oh that was a great chapter! I like how you touched upon how he had had to give up things because he knew he couldn’t physically do them in the long run. It adds to his character and the need to have control over everything he can.
And I liked how Draco knows that Ginny likes to mess up his hair.. it’s a cute touch on the first chapter.
Cannot wait for more cause you’re right I have many more questions!
Author's Response: Thank you! And I'm glad you noticed the little callbacks from earlier chapters. I hope you'll like what's coming nexy! :)
I LOVED this chapter!!
I like how you’re giving the secondary characters some life. It lifts this story up. And I also like how Draco is more comfortable with Ginny now. It felt really easy going. I like that you’re really giving them a center before you throw them into the Death Eater mess.
I’m not gonna lie though! When the whole pregnancy thing came out and the thought of Draco getting Ginny pregnant came up I did the whole Kamboucha thing! Yes! No! Maybe? lol 😂 I also thought a trade to Puddlemere would bring Draco immense joy!
I liked how you have that young boy looking up to Draco. I would like to see him interact with Draco cause I think that’s one way Draco himself would deal with his trauma.. I don’t think he would willingly examine it but with Jeremy in the picture it would be like a buffer.
Can’t wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you sooo much for the review! :D
Not gonna lie, I did play with the idea of getting Ginny pregnant, but I feel like that's been done. And it wouldn't have suited what I've planned. So not now... Maybe in the future chapter? I don't know. You'll have to keep on reading! As for Jeremy Chaucer, I don't think we've seen the last of him...!
Very good chapter! I think the characterization was spot on for your characters. I think the argument shows growth within their relationship.. in other fights they’ve both just stormed off and there had been finality in each fight, but with this one things that needed to be said and heard were addressed and even though Draco did leave it felt much more like a time out instead of a full I’m out moment.
I would like to see Ginny confront Ron. I can totally see her bursting back in the kitchen and just pushing him back and yelling at him just taking out all that aggression she has bottled up on the meddling man. I think it would be fun to have someone pull her off him. Have Ron not get away with it for once 😂
And I liked that Draco found common ground with Percy! That was an unexpected surprise I’ve never seen before in any other fic! And your Fleur and the other in-laws are hilarious.
I’m loving and super appreciative of the updates! Thank you! Can’t wait for the next one 😊
Author's Response: YESSS!!! I'm so so glad that you noticed the difference between this fight and their previous fights. It means I did an okay job of writing the chapter, because I did not want this one to have an air of finality... Oh come now, you don't want to see Ginny confronting Ron. That Clash of the Angry Weasleys is best left to imagination lol!
I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. Your reviews mean the world to me, so thank you! <3
Oh I just read your review response to the last chapter! I think you would write the “oh shit” moment when Draco finds out he got Ginny pregnant perfectly and I would LOVE to read that but I agree that now it’s not the best time for them.
But later... later is good 👀👀 lol 😂
Oh boy this was a good one! I loved the interactions with the elves (I literally laughed out loud with the tea) and that big in the potions room was sweet and a necessary moment in their relationship.. I cannot wait for more 😊
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far! I totally love the elves!
Fantastic chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you so much!!!
Ooohhh that was a fantastic chapter and an even better cliffhanger!!
Author's Response: Thank you! :)
Oh my god.
What a stressful chapter! And what a way to end it!! I NEED ANSWERS!!!
PLEASE update soon!! I literally have nothing else going in my life at the moment :’D
Author's Response: Thank you so much! The next chapter is up (well, I've submitted it for posting anyway) and I hope you'll get some answers... and maybe some questions! Glad to see you're enjoying the story. Stay safe!
I personally love the tense moments between Draco and Harry because underneath they both know Harry is still in love with Ginny and Draco is in love with Ginny but keeps fucking it up so they keep trying to one up each other while still saving face.
It’s hilarious to me and I hope there’s more.
Author's Response: Yes, yes, yes, you get it!! Harry and Draco are interesting to write and yes you will be seeing more of them... in what capacity though, I can't say. You'll have to stick around to find out. Thank you for the reviews! <3
Ok. Ok. Yea. I am *begging you* on my knees pleeeeeaaaaaassssseeeeeee pleeasssee PLEASE to continue this!
Yea it could stand alone but WHY would you let this type of greatness just remain stagnant? Why?!
The characterization was fantastic, the plot was beautifully detailed to pull you in but not over the top where I had to skip over descriptions of something, the elegance of it all was breathtaking and believe you me I don’t speak French but I laughed out loud on public transit when I read grand mere. I truly did not see that coming. What a joy.
I’m gonna track this story and wait in silence until there’s an update. Kay cool thanks. :)
Author's Response: Awww thank you so much! :)
And no need to beg, I have decided to continue the story and have posted the second chapter already. I'm working on the third, which might take a few days. But I'm glad you liked the story so far and I hope you continue to like it. Let me know!
Draco Malfoy has a knack for saving Ginny Weasley's life. COMPLETE!Category: Long and Completed
This whole thing is a giant chuckle! I love it! Please keep it coming :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying it!! (And think it's funny.) The next chapter is partly done so there should be more soon! Thank you for reading. :)
Ginny and Draco wake up in Draco's bed, wandless and with no memory of the night before. Together, they will embark on a twisted journey of self-discovery as they follow clues to retrace their steps. Can they stop bickering long enough to solve the mystery of their missing wands and memories?Category: Completed Short Stories
This is the best one shot I’ve read in a long time! It was very funny and very cute.
I can see this being the end but I would love to see how they make it up to Harry and Pansy and maybe end up at the leaky cauldron with Hannah again lol
Author's Response: I believe Hannah has banned them for life, hahaha. Thank you so much for reading! I'm so glad you enjoyed this silly little story! n_n
Ginny and Draco's inattention leads them to become trapped under enchanted mistletoe. Will they do what needs to be done to free themselves?Category: Completed Short Stories
Ooohhh this is really good!! And I’m quite curious to know what he does at the ministry!
Author's Response: Luckily, Draco's job will be explained in the second part, which will be posted shortly! n_n I'm glad you're enjoying the story!
March 9th was the day that Voldemort took away Ginny's freedom during her first year at Hogwarts. Now a sixth year, she finds herself using that day as her own instead of running from it. When she sneaks into the Prefect bathroom for a quick night time bath, she does not expect to be caught by Hogwarts' Head Boy, Draco Malfoy. This begins their story of secret meetings and lustful encounters.Category: Works in Progress
Oh that’s a fun little story so far! I really like this Draco.
I’m looking forward to more
Ginny is tired of being the only single Weasley at family gatherings and all the pity that comes with that status. Draco could do without opportunistic women taking advantage of his desire to connect. The solution? Team up to become platonic dates during the holidays.Category: Works in ProgressIf only their hearts could stick to the plan....
CHAPTER ELEVEN SNIPPET:
When Ginny finally came downstairs, her eyes were bright and red-rimmed with happy tears. Her teammates and friends swarmed her again, congratulating her on becoming an auntie once more. She thanked everyone profusely, but her attention was clearly divided. Her eyes kept drifting toward Draco as if to make sure he stayed put until she could reach him.
And when she was finally free from the well-wishers and standing in front of him once more, it took all of Draco’s control not to pull her toward him and kiss her. That look on her face, the relief and elation—he never wanted to see it leave. He realized then that there was little Draco wouldn’t do to spare her from misery, like the kind she’d experienced over the summer when she’d been bashed in the press.
The realization frightened him enough to flee, but he couldn’t. She was here. As much as he wished to escape his feelings, he also couldn’t deny himself the opportunity to be around her.
This is such a fun story!
Author's Response: I’m so glad you think so! Thank you for reading! n_n
Six years ago, Ginny broke a promise to Draco that ensured he would remain in prison for a crime he didn't commit. When she walks into his nightclub after all these years, they both discover that the end of their relationship wasn't what it seemed. But is it too late to start over?Category: Long and Completed
COMPLETE!
This is the first short story in a while that I would love to see expanded into something a bit longer. The characterization was very interesting. And not only Draco and Ginny’s but the secondary characters as well.
It would be fun to see just a bit of how they navigate their new relationship seeing as there were many that acted against them before
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story enough to want more! If I was ever to write another part to this, I think I'd try to write a prequel since my original idea for this story was about their beginning rather than a reunion. Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment!
Sometimes, what you think you want isn't what you need.Category: Works in Progress
Sometimes, what you need is the last thing you ever thought you wanted.
And sometimes, what you want and what you need are one and the same and you get lucky enough to realize it before it's too late.
This is such a fun read so far! The characterization is so good for not only d&g but all the secondary characters you have introduced.
I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Author's Response: Thank you! It's a slow burn, because I always assume these people have trauma to overcome, but I swear to bob, I love slow burn romance. Along with former enemies-to-lovers.
