Foolish Consequences by Sunfire    (Reviews - 193)

What would make a family as close as the Weasleys turn its back on its youngest member? Ginny breaking Harry's heart might, as would her sleeping with Draco Malfoy. Too bad she's done both.

I adored Foolish Consequences in all its heart-wrenching glory. You have such a nack for words I can't even begin to describe it. Draco's rise to the challenge is truly befitting of his proper stature and character;I wish that more people would understand that purebloods are not purebloods for no reason, they are raised to their family's standard of perfection and should be portrayed as such.
I loved Narcissa, you truly captured a side of her which I have never seen in writing. Ginny's family troubles were also beautiful (though disheartening) to read, because with their tenacity and pride I can really see it happening, no matter how much they love her.
I hope for more in the future, but for now this was a marvelous ending. I would love to see the conflict with her family reconciled, and Doron grown.
Thank you for the opertunity to read such a gem!

Author's Response: I truly appreciate your feedback, it really keeps me writing. I hadn\'t intended to write a sequel when I first planned this story, or even when I concluded it, but I have since reconsidered. I would like to explore this little family\'s future, but with work and school and other fics that remain hanging out there, unfinished, I\'m not sure when I\'ll get to it. Hopefully by the time I do, no one will have forgotten FC. Anyway, I\'m so glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for the review.\r\n

All of your works are most fabulously orchestrated, but I must say that this has to be one of my very favorites! You hit on a delicious plot, and are discovering it flawlessly. Thank you so much for the brilliant read, I look forward eagerly to the next installment.

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I actually started outlining this story with the intention of entering it into the D?G catburgler challenge/contest, but wasn\'t able to find the time to work on it enough. It\'s been put on the back-burner a few times since then, but it is my absolute number one priority fic, as I won\'t let myself read book seven until I have finished my version of it here and I\'m just dying to read DH. Hopefully I can get a few more chapters out before school and work get too hectic. Thanks again for the review, I was a little worried that with DH out, not many would be interested in a post HBP piece.

Millions and Millions of Malfoys (And One Very Sleep-Deprived Ginny) by Anise    (Reviews - 401)

Ginny Weasley is absolutely sure that Draco Malfoy is hatching a particularly evil plot as junior head of the Ministry Department of Culture, and that it definitely involves puppy-strangling, bribing officials, and consistently wearing trousers tailored very tight in back. Or at least it's a theory that makes sense when she's been surviving on two hours of sleep a night for far too long, and Draco keeps vetoing her sketches for the new marble statues at the Ministry fountain. But then Luna Lovegood gives her a potion with some very curious effects, and Ginny finds that she just may have to revise her opinions about those evil trousers...

Anise...I think you are a fantastic writer, firstly. Secondly, I feel as though your writing is getting a tad repetitive. I am trying so hard to read this latest of your fics, but I find myself growing tired of it, since it feels like basically the same plot as most of your other fics. This is not to say I don't love the plots you come up with, but rather that I would adore it if the plots were a little less similar, the character developements were a little less similar, and (though I doubt this will change, and really, for readers who can manage to follow your stories: more power too them) less over-complication of the plot.
I think that you are witty and insightful, and often times your phrases and the way that you spin you chapters honestly makes me happy to see fantastic writing in action. I feel as though you sometimes sell yourself short by writing long, overly-complicated, hard to follow plot twists because I think that you could have lovely, interesting, action packed and mysterious works of fiction if you just made your plots slightly less jumbled.
All I ask is that you keep in mind that while you may know and understand everything that is happening and is going to happen: the reader does not.
Thank you so much for being such an inspirational writer, and I hope that you take my criticism as just that--not meaningless, cruel words, but just a fellow reader and writing trying to support and improve your work.

Thought I'd add that my last review applies to most of your longer, or full works of fiction, not just this one (as I realize that this particular fic is meant to be over the top and crack-rageous) :D

Fantastic, I'm starting to see some character variation--which is awesome!! I love your portrayal of our lovely couple, but it's nice to see further development from the personalities you have established in your numerous fics. I hope it continues! I really enjoy your phrasing--you have a gift!!
I hope the plot continues to steadily build without tripping itself up; I can't wait to see how you tie in Twilight mythology and themes with Draco and Ginny's world.

I read the chapters you have up on harrypotterfanfiction.com and quite love this story. It's dark without being unrealistic and sweet without being silly. I can't wait for the next installment!

Loving this! Not thrilled to get to the "oh-no-she-actually-is-going-to-be-married-off" part because there just seem to be a million of those stories, but I'm hoping you pull it off in an original way.
Your french is a bit off, but still good! It's nice to be able to read in my native tongue!

Author's Response:

Thank you!  I'm really glad that it's intelligible to a native speaker.  Reviewing it all was actually quite helpful, I work in a library and one gentleman came up to me the other day and started speaking to me in French and I was luckily able to grasp enough to understand what he was saying and let him know I really can't speak it too well.

There's still some more time before the whole married off thing, which I know is ridiculously old by now.
