Light-hearted and fun. Ginny Weasley finds herself the target of a bit of manipulation while helping Narcissa Malfoy plan her 25th anniversary ball until mischief and a little mayhem land her squarely in a Cinderella situation. Romance abounds, with a litle help from the faeries. Winner - Best Portrayal of Ginny Weasley - 2008 dg ficexchange.Category: Long and Completed
This story is amazing. This is the chapter that sealed the deal. A cliffhanger within a cliffhanger. My heart is breaking for both Draco and Ginny, but it was eniviable.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I hate seeing them sad too, but the moral of the story is that our actions have consequences that we have to deal with. That\'s why I like Narcissa so much as a minor character in this, and that she has an effect on our heroine learning to grow. I really appreciate the feedback.
The idea of "renting" her soul out to anyone - let alone a former Slytherin nemesis - did not sit well with Ginny Weasley. But circumstances always tend to go askew and when she finds herself in a dire position, Ginny has no choice but to relent, accepting the deal and the seven wishes offered as payment.Category: Long and Completed
I really enjoyed this story. I wish there was more or a sequel, but I enjoyed it just the same.
They're members of the Knowledge Team together, but besides that all they have in common is the fact that they love to annoy each other.Category: Long and Completed
I really liked this story. The characterizations of Draco and Ginny mesh really well. If this was truly Canon (I wish!!!), I could see it happening like this.
Ginny Weasley is absolutely sure that Draco Malfoy is hatching a particularly evil plot as junior head of the Ministry Department of Culture, and that it definitely involves puppy-strangling, bribing officials, and consistently wearing trousers tailored very tight in back. Or at least it's a theory that makes sense when she's been surviving on two hours of sleep a night for far too long, and Draco keeps vetoing her sketches for the new marble statues at the Ministry fountain. But then Luna Lovegood gives her a potion with some very curious effects, and Ginny finds that she just may have to revise her opinions about those evil trousers...Category: Works in Progress
I love the character Nick, he never ceases to crack me up. Between the comedy and the drama, I don't know which I like better. I can't wait for the next update.

I liked your story and especially how Ginny turned the tables on Draco.
A marriage is a great time of firsts. For Draco and Ginny Malfoy, these might be a little out of order. So what's wrong with being a little unorthodox? [AU, arranged marriage]Category: Completed Short Stories
I cannot believe there aren't any reviews. This story is great. I loved the how it took Blaise and Hermione to help Draco and Ginny realize their feelings for each other. I can't help but wish this was not a one shot, but it stands on its own quite well.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! And of course it would take their friends to get them to realize how they feel, they're both just so stubborn. :)
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
Wow, the last chapter...I can't believe it. This is a wonderful conclusion to your story. I really enjoyed reading it and I'm sure when the fancy strikes (and it will) I'll read it all over again!
Author's Response: I kind of couldn't believe it either. ;) Thanks so much! I think I'll read it all over again too... especially when I start writing the second book.
I love the Star Wars quote in this chapter. I wonder if Ginny will be getting more of her oblivated memory back. I cannot wait for the next update.
Author's Response: Yay! Somebody noticed the Star Wars quote. So who was a worse dad, Darth Vader or Lucius Malfoy? Discuss. ;) I haven't forgotten about Ginny's Obliviated memory (kind of a weird sentence, when you think about it.) It will come up again... and more soon...
The War against Voldemort was won eight years ago. Draco is a convicted prisoner in Azkaban. At 24, Ginny is the youngest and first female Minister for Magic. They appear to have nothing in common and no shared history. But things are rarely as they seem and secrets are everywhere.Category: Long and Completed
I like this story, but I'm confused at one part. Initially when Ginny asked to see the meeting between Draco and his psychiatrist, she was told they could not see her, but she could hear and see them. Then later it says: 'His eyes studied her slowly, evaluating her. And then they flicked back to Draco.' Did you mean that only Draco would not be able to see Ginny, but the psychiatrist could?
Author's Response: Yes, I'm assuming the magic of the one-way mirror only applies to the prisoners. I should have made that clear, sorry. Thank You for pointing it out.

I like the direction you are going with this, it is very original. I can't but feel Miss Spinner is at the center of this.

I really like what you have started here. I'm so glad that Ginny did not even contemplate going back to Harry after the war. I like how things just don't go back to normal right away. The time it is taking to heal from the war is following a believable timeline. I look forward to your next update.
Author's Response: I can't even imagine how Ginny could have stayed with Harry after the war. For them to make it to 19 Years Later, they would have had to go through a lot, and I prefer to think it just wouldn't have lasted. I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far! More than a romance, I like to think of this as a story about healing, and I'm glad it's definitely coming through that way!
When Harry Potter leaves to go Horcrux-hunting with the Golden Trio, a scorned Ginny Weasley faces the prospect of a sixth year rife with loneliness. But games of love never turn out as they are intended, and Ginny may be putting her heart in more danger than ever before...Category: Works in Progress
I like what you started here, it shows promise.
This story has taken an interesting turn. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us. : )

On a quest to rediscover herself, she must go out on her own and try to put together the pieces of her life. Can she find comfort in someone just as broken and scarred as she?Category: Works in Progress
Oooo I can't wait for the next update. I like that even though many years have passed, their animosity for each other hasn't and they haven't fallen head over arse in love at first sight.
Author's Response: Thanks! I tend to feel quite strongly about keeping some of the tension between the two. It keeps it more true to the characters and makes it fun to read, in my opinion. :) Thank you again!

I really enjoyed this holiday treat. This stands alone well as a one-shot, but if you change your mind I would love to see it continue into something more.

I really love this story. The characterization of both Draco and Ginny is fitting. When they met at the pub, the chemistry wasn't there at first and then bam it was. I can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Thank you and I'm glad you like it. I think that it appears this way because it is from Ginny's point of view. Draco has "noticed" her in the past, but she has no idea of this yet, but he has a mixture of attraction along with his dislike of Weasleys, so he's perfectly willing to argue with her. I'm glad that the chemistry did come across, because normally I take longer to build things up between them. Thank you so much for letting me know you like it!

This was a cute story! I really enjoyed it.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! It's really difficult for me to write fluff, so I'm always happy when it works out well. :)
Ginny Weasley thought her life was going well, until the day Harry kicked her out. What will happen when she has a surprising saviour?Category: Works in Progress
I like what you have started here. It is an interesting premise. I find it hard to believe that Ginny would start dating someone 3 months after the break-up with Harry, but I like that her relationship with Draco is not rushed. You have laid the foundation for a friendship that a romance will be built upon.
Author's Response: Thank you! I was debating how long to make her wait but I rationalized it that she wasn't going to pine for Harry because she saw clearly where he had moved on and that there was no Harry/Ginny anymore. I my mind, that helped her take the first steps to moving on but she still isn't rushing it. This story will only be about another 5 chapters so it isn't very long; their relationship will need to fast forward soon to end in a 'happily ever after'. I'm glad you like it so far. I hope you will continue to read and leave your feedback/criticism (every little bit helps). Thanks for taking the time.
There is pride and there is love. Ginny always thought that the two couldn't exist together, but to be in love really means to have something to be proud of. Before she was always watching, searching for a perfection that was worth putting on to paper, but after the war ends and a strange run in with Narcissa Malfoy, she is forced to reevaluate everything around her. Life is messy, time is an impassive judge, and love changes all but that.Category: Long and Completed
What an interesting premise. I think it's hilarious to imagine a Draco with red hair! I cannot believe there are only two reviews. I cannot wait until the next installment.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to review. :D
This story is actually finished; I'm just working on getting it cleaned up for the archive — which is taking a lot longer than I expected. The full thing is posted at my LJ, though, if you find yourself too impatient. burnthegallows.livejournal.com

I absolutely loved this story. The characterizations fit well and I couldn't help but wish it was longer. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! xx Jen

"She's fallen under the strongest magic there is; she's fallen in love."
I am definitely interested in seeing prequel or sequel or both. I loved the part where Draco swooped over the red and gold mob... It would be interesting to have this told from another member of Slytherin House.
Author's Response: That would make a fun companion piece, and you also gave me an idea for a D/G fic told from multiple viewpoints...hmm plot bunnies are running rampant. Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave a comment!
