In a world where Death Eaters reign and good wizards hide in plain sight, preconceived notions must be redefined. AU for post-Hogwarts setting. WARNING: Allusion to H/Hr since I posted this at Portkey. Please don't bludgeon me; I almost did it myself.Category: Works in Progress
It would be so great if you could finish this. It's beautifully written.
Ginny Weasley had finally grown up. That little girl who dreamed of a fairytale wedding with her one true prince was gone. And good riddance. She didn't care about any of that now. No, really, she didn't.Category: Works in Progress
Chapter 5 Snippet:
"Honestly, sometimes I haven't a clue what to do with you," he muttered before downing the rest of his wine.
"I don't know about that," she said with a playful waggle of her eyebrows. "Experience says you seem to be fairly knowledgeable in that area."
He latched onto the line as she knew he would, irritation giving way to a wicked gleam in his eyes. "Really now, but how long has it been? Perhaps we should refresh your memory just to be sure."
I like the exposition in this chapter, I'm dying to know how ginny acquired the attitude she's displaying in this fic
Author's Response: Thank you for the comment! I was iffy about this chapter, but so far the feedback like yours have been reassuring. As for the reveal about Ginny, it's definitely coming and I hope I can execute it well. Thanks again!
Ginny returns home to find that life at the Burrow has completely changed in her absence. It's all Ron's fault, and it's up to her to try to save her poor brother, but she may be too late. Worse, she may get sucked into the madness along with everyone else and start liking her brother's new best friend.Category: Long and Completed
Loving this story! Original angle --the friendship with Ron.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad that you liked the twist in the usual trope :) More coming soon! :D
Please! More! Love the Ron/Draco friendship! Love the handsy, drunken Draco! He obviously secretly likes her, and she's starting to care about him! More! More! Please!
Author's Response: I absolutely *loved* writing him while he was tipsy. He was sooooo easy. LOL And, yes, he does have a little crush on her, but he soooo doesn't want to admit it. More coming soon, and *thank you* for letting me know you enjoyed. :)
Best wishes!
