Malfoy was curious. Curious and angry. “So, what do you want from me, Weasley?”
It was the admission of his defeat. Ginny felt the taste of victory - and it was bitter.
“I want influence. I want protection. I want safety.” She stopped, giving him time to assimilate her words, before she played her final card. "I want your name. " When saying the last sentence, however, she could not help the blush that spread across her face.
Malfoy's countenance changed several times in a very short time. Annoyance turned into wariness, then into confusion, and finally, when he really understood what Ginny had implied, his face showed only a profound horror.
I want your name.
I want a marriage.
I really liked that Ginny brought Narcissa back home. I love their dysfunctional family.
My condolence to Mrs. Longbottom. I can imagine how hard things are for her.
Thank goodness Anne could get to the Resistance!

Okay, so it is my personal opinion but Ginny...I do not understand how pregnancy hormones work (no offense to any preggo people, I respect you all from the bottom of my heart!!) but it was quite low for her tbh.
I know, I know that how their relationship is. But it was borderline unfaithfulness for me. At least.
I did not mean to be disrespectful to anyone! Just putting my thoughts here.
Author's Response: I have been pregnant once, even though it didn't progress. At one point, I remember being absolutely greedy for certain... activities, hahaha. But of course, per se, it wouldn't be able to cloud any judgment.
The fact is, right now, Draco and Ginny are not married for REEEAL. I can understand Ginny completely, really. She's alone, she's frustrated and she's feeling bretrayed. It's not smart, but it's quite human, to be honest
She doesn't owe Draco anything regarding faithfulness. Honestly, in my opinion she will not owe him anything until he admits how he feels.
And you were not disrespectuful in any way! It's your thoughts and you always express them with care and respect. Feel free and welcomed to keep doing that!

I am SO impressed with this "first" meeting. I mean usually in every story when the hero and his lady love meet after a long time it is shown as a specific event or a shocking relevation.
But here you have written their "latest" meeting as their "first" expressed one for us!
Author's Response: haha, I like subverting some expectations on those occasions. It's a way to have fun while writing the story, I think.
Ginny is an important potion-maker, who happens to be a big potion supplier to the Ministry.
It seemed natural to me that Draco and her had already interacted at some point after she became more prominent.
But there's a big question somewhere that you're not asking yourself (or at least you weren't asking me, haha)
Draco seems to be attracted to her. A strong attraction! Awesome. And Ginny seems to be "affected" by his presence. Cherry on the top!
The last part was sad though. Goyle should be punished badly!!! Promise me that, please?
Author's Response: Poor Ginny, she wanted to get rid of the past, but it insisted on appearing in the figure of Draco. And there's Goyle to harass her. Prick!
Sometimes I think the great villain in this story isn't Voldmort, but Goyle. The biggest threats come from where we least expect it, I suppose.
But I promise you, he'll get exactly what he deserves - it might just take a while, haha. Bear with me.

Will James get more older when Draco and Ginny meet?
I mean the few stories I had read with Ginny being a single mom with Harry's baby, they are always with the child being above 11.
I am just wishing for a sweet and innocent connection between the child and Draco. May be nit in the most typical father-child way, but the affection is there?
Author's Response: Yes, James will be a little older when they meet again, but not much. Maybe five or six years old, as far as I can tell.
The connection between Draco and James will come, I'm sure. But not in the beginning.
In fact, I should warn you: the beginning will not be easy for either of them. None of the three, actually.
More like I want no awkwardness that happens with step-dad Draco and preteen/teen James. Connecting with children at different ages is different. I am saying in that sense.

Hey! I was waiting for this part of the story. As far as I can remember you have kept all the crucial events of the battle (I thank you for that. Again less wondering for me during this part).
I think the main plot twists and adaptations will come from now on. Right?
The whole chapter has a general gloomy context to it. I am very impressed that you have, though basically, described/summarized these canon deaths already present in the actual books, I can still feel the morbidity throughout your writing.

Author's Response: YES, from now on the story will be all on me, for better or worse, hehe. I see what you've meant: despite the sadness that permeated all this chapter, I can say I liked to write it because it was a part of the story - especially Fred’s death - that moved me a lot back then. I may not have digested that very well yet, so many years later. So it was sort of a way of saying goodbye, putting all my sorrow on it. But if you managed to get over my unconscious desolation and liked the chapter, I'm very happy, hehe
Today I have divided my review into 2. I keep getting logged oit and my "nicely written" (I do hope they are nice XD) reviews do not get published. And I have to start again which are not as good as the actual ones!
Anyway, as I just made an observation that you are really good in writing dark themes! Please take it as a compliment (albeit a weird one at that)!
My feelings stayed constant with the sadness prevailed within the chapter. But it actually cyanges to instant relief when the chapter ends. Utterly cathartic.

I think HG baby will be a boy - James. Even though I ran away from canon, there are some aspects of it I'd like to keep.
Ah, to me, his child will be very ordinary haha. I mean, regular wizarding child (considering they're already special in some sense, but I think you got the idea)
This does not mean, however, that I don't intend to use this child's existence - special or not - as a plot device to move the story forward. We shall see.

Yes! With Voldemort coming out as winner of this war, Ginny is going to fight to survive as best she can. Probably, there will be a time jump somewhere in this story, but that's the general idea.
She has to make do with what you has, poor girl.

About your question on Draco's future, think with me: he has no choice in the matter.
He can't give up on being a Death Eater simply because there's nowhere else for him. In theory, with the other side defeated, what could he do? And it must be taken into account that, with Lucius dead, he'll be responsible for the name of his family. It's a considerable burden.
Now, why Ginny would want to marry him is another matter altogether.
MAHUHAUAHA, wait and see.
Okay so I just realized I have been talking about or trying to guess the reason for Ginny to marry Draco.
But I have not mentioned why will Draco want to marry her??? That too preggers with HARRY POTTER'S BABY!!?

The greatest question isn't why Ginny would want to marry Draco - this is more or less outlined - but why DRACO WOULD WANT TO MARRY GINNY INDEED.
