Author's Response: Where have I been? I've been working - my overdraft was beginning to resemble the third world debt! Unfortunately I've been so busy and tired that my writing has suffered, but I am beginning to settle into the routine and so I am getting quite a bit done now, but unfortunately the Ex Ir Plot bunny is being really quiet at the moment and I have three shorter stories on the go - 'Irae Culpa', 'Oh Dear God' and 'Refraction' (which you can see over at my Livejournal - the link is on my profile page). But worry not, chapter 17 is under construction, it's just a little delayed. Lucian is sweet actually, I've decided to write him that way for a reason, which you will probably see later on, or in some 'future cookies' that are beginning to coagulate into vague plots. Of course it would help if I finished the actual fic before I write 'future cookies'! LOL Don't worry though, I AM a finisher, Exquisite Irony is too important to me to get rid of! Goddess no!

And this is coming from someone who loves Draco. But to rape her is unexceptable. She may have responded but no is no and nothing can make what he did right. And what a fool he is to tell Lucius. He should have know that his father would go and tell the Weasleys. He may have lost his influence in the Wizarding world but he's still a sneaky cunning bastard who can twist Draco around his littel finger. I can't wait to see what will happen. This has to be one of the most painful, emtional and perfectly in character stories I have ever read. And in a way that's a good thing; Because you've managed to catch the readers attention so well, and actually make them feel and experience what the characters themselves are feeling. You haven't made Draco into a simpering fool, but you have managed to capture his humanity at a point where we are torn between being furious with him, and yet at the same time feeling incredibly sorry for him. I'm glad that at this stage Ginny's still willing to give him a shot. But it's going to take a lot of effort and pain for him to win her trust. And I think you'll capture this as well as you've captured everything else in this story. I can't wait to see what Draco's response will be.

I'm glad you like this. The humour is important, I think, because, as you say, there are a lot of 'Pregnant Ginny' Fics out there and there tends to be a fairly predictable plot progression (which I sort of parodied in one of Ginny's responses *assumes innocent expression*), and given my plot choice, I am going to have follow this to a certain extent, so I am making it as humourous as possible! LOL
