Yaaay! Clever plan, Draco. Though I hate the idea of Barnabas dying in the fire, I suppose it'll cast less suspicion on him since they all know he'd never willingly let Barnabas die. I can't wait to see what happens with this.
Author's Response: It was a difficult decision to do it that way, but this is a rather dramatic fic, so having everything happen perfectly just seemed wrong. I hope I made it clear earlier how much the horses meant to Draco, and that his angst over what happened came across in the scene. Thanks!
