Who knew happily-ever-after could have an expiration date? New beginnings are hard, but when they happen in the middle of your life, they're infinitely more so.Category: Works in Progress
I love fics where Ginny and Harry split mostly amicably... it makes it so much better to read when you know they aren't going to accidentally bump into each other and fight and blah blah.
I love the humor of this fic, it's just the perfect balance of silly (Lucius as a 'sexpert'!) and sarcastic.
I need more! It's so wonderful. :)
It's hard to learn how to live without that one person you thought would be in your life forever. But Ginny Weasley had always been a quick study, and there are always certain grey-eyed boys to help speed up the learning process...Category: Works in Progress
I agree! I've been checking once a week for updates since that last chapter, please finish it! :) It's so lovely.
I love this story.
AIEEE. *explodes*
Seriously, you're killing me here!
Ginny Weasley is a charm breaker for Gringotts. She's been around the world, but now the bank has called her home for the 10-year vault check. When she returns, there are secrets she can't escape, truths waiting to be discovered and a past in need of redemption.Category: Works in ProgressChapter 13 Quote
It was when she averted her eyes to the side of the building that she saw something to make her blood run cold.
She froze, stopping dead in her tracks and letting her arms fall limply to her sides. She stared at him, eyes wide in the red light of twilight, taking in the sight of his white-blond hair and porcelain features.
“No,” she breathed.
Red and green curses were flying about her in every direction, but it seemed the world had slowed down to her and the man who had not yet noticed her.
Wow, that was utterly delicious. Just the perfect amount of give and take between them.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! That is just what I was going for! I hope I don't come off conceited, but I especially enjoyed writing Ginny asking him what he was doing there and Draco just deadpanning: "Celebrating." But isn't that exactly something he would say? In my D/G world it is. Anyway, thanks for reading and keep the reviews coming!
Wow. o.O Steamy!
Poor Ginny, left alone.. but she's mighty tough..
Author's Response: Yay! Steamy is totally what I was going for (besides intense and beautiful). She is very tough. I think you'll be surprised with her reaction. Thanks for reviewing!
The updates are really few and far between to where I had to start over again to figure out what was going on. :
But yes, I'm still reading! :) Very nice banter between them. Love it.
Author's Response: I apologize for the slow updates - my beta finally just stopped responding to my e-mails altogether. I know what it's like though, when you wait so long for a new chapter that you have to go back and read the others, as I've done the same thing in the past. I hope I can do better and will try hard to not have so much time between updates. I'm glad you liked the banter! Thanks for reviewing and for not giving up on this story!
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
Haha, I love how both of them didn't even notice!
Seriously, I check like six or seven times a day to see if you've updated this. It's great!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! More coming up soon...
Well, I can't blame you for slowing the updates a bit, you've been spoiling us right now. :p
And oo hoo Ginny's a bit scandalous! I love when they get to just throw all caution to the wind though. It seems so refreshing. :D
Yay! Luna to the rescue!
Makes me so angry how Ginny has no rights in what tests and so forth. Gives you kind of a helpless feeling when you just want to deck Harry.
And I always love Blaise characters, they're normally so much more open about things and I love his sex quirk in this fic. And how Luna wasn't phased at all. :D
Author's Response: I love Luna here too. :) I felt angry on Ginny's behalf too, and I don't think she's going to forgive Harry easily.
I must say that's quite convoluted, but rereading the beginning again makes things shift into place so wonderfully.
Quite dark and delicious. Poor Ginny having no clue as to her magnetism.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I think that Ginny is kind of clueless right now, but she'll be getting some clues very soon...
Ron and George were going to get a kick out of this. Their sister had been totally duped. And she didn't even know how bad it was until he told her who he was leaving her for.Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow, totally didn't expect the priest curveball.
Very nicely angsty. The type of just sorrow that sits in your ribcage and tickles your heart. Then explodes in happiness when things work themselves out in a good smutty snog...
Author's Response: Haha, I am a fan of when things work out! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that will happen for them...
Draco is after Ginny and doesn’t care who knows it. As far as Ginny knows, it's just another game.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh goodness, I like this so much. It's nice when fics don't have to draw out the whole outlying story of why they're even speaking for once, and just jump into the cutely conflicting moments.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!
During her sixth year at Hogwarts, Ginny wrestles with her recent breakup with Harry and whether she should stay true to him.Category: Works in Progress
This is fascinating and I hope to read more soon! I find Draco a bit more flaunting than I imagined him being at that time, but nevertheless dynamic with his interactions with Ginny. I'm a bit confused as to why Ginny is so preoccupied with mundane things like her hair, but I suppose that's a teenager for you.
