When Ginny is compelled to do her duty for the Order she gets much more than she ever bargained for.Category: Works in Progress
I'm glad to see my trust in you, even in the face of the end of the last chapter, was well-placed. Draco's back and maybe even in love. Happy sigh. I'm looking forward to seeing how Ginny reacts! Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: You never do know with me do you? I will tell you that Draco and Ginny aren\'t out of the woods yet...
It's during the war, and Draco and Ginny share a rather nice conversation. Will something blossom just from talking? I'd like to think so. Every story has a beginning. This is mine.Category: Completed Short Stories
I really enjoyed this--you did a really nice job keeping Draco and Ginny in character, and I could almost see the whole scene playing out in front of me. And you deserve extra credit if English isn't your first language! Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! It was really hard, let me tell you. But if you got to picture the whole scene, I'm above and beyond happy. *SQUEE* for extra credit!
Draco and Ginny hate each other with a passion. The end. Well, no, not really.Category: Long and Completed
I have just now had the chance to start reading this story, and it is a lot of fun! I really like the dynamic between Draco and Ginny, and am looking forward to seeing how everything plays out.
I love the way you are developing the dynamic between Draco and Ginny, especially Ginny's fussing--that was absolutely perfect. I'm looking forward to whatever comes next!
Hee hee! Draco really did make a huge mistake, didn't he? And not the one he had in mind. Of course, Ginny wasn't the epitome of maturity and intelligence either. This was a very fun chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next one!
What a perfect ending! I love Draco babbling away on Ginny's doorstep. Thanks so much for this story!
Lucius lived in terror that one day Narcissa would come to her senses, would stop coming to visit him and instead move on with her life, leaving him with nothing.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is a lot of fun. I really like the way that Ginny manages to out-Lucius Lucius. She is certainly a force to be reckoned with!
Ginny supervises Draco's community service.Category: Completed Short Stories
Hee hee! This was lots of fun. I've never been to a Rennaisance Faire, but I guess I will have to trust you to know what is in character, you having been a bar wench and all. I suppose that is where you honed your acting skills, right? (Just kidding! I'm sure they were developed in much more... seemly ways than flirting with poor Draco.)
Author's Response: I guess you could say I worked on my acting skills. Mostly I just served a LOT of beer, said \"Remove thy hand from there, good sir,\" and wanted to melt from the heat. If Draco had been there it MIGHT have made it bearable. ;)
Who knew happily-ever-after could have an expiration date? New beginnings are hard, but when they happen in the middle of your life, they're infinitely more so.Category: Works in Progress
...her hair's willpower would have reduced Stalin to a quivering lapdog
Hee hee! That line had me giggling like crazy! And I loved Narcissa. I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Lily--I don't think I would get along with her very well in person, but she's a fun character to read, especially when she's driving Ginny crazy. And I like the way Ginny and Draco's relationship is developing, even though Ginny doesn't realize it. Anyway, the new chapter is excellent, and I hope you'll post more soon!
This is a fascinating look at how relationships can evolve. (And, yes, I understand exactly how it happens.) I'm looking forward to finding out how Ginny and Harry deal with each other, and of course, how Ginny and Draco end up gravitating toward each other.
Oh, it's so sad! Even though I'm not a fan of Harry and Ginny being together, watching a relationship fall apart is still hard. Sigh. At least they are being reasonable about it. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: It is sad, isn\'t it? I don\'t want Harry to be the bad guy, and I don\'t want this to be a guns-blazing war over the kids or anything. I\'m glad you enjoyed it!
I like the dynamic that you have set up between Draco and Ginny--it's a nice balance between snarkiness and the mellowness that comes with age and experience. Thanks for the update!
Hooray! I had been wondering if you were going to update this, and I'm thrilled that you actually did. My favorite part was the bit with Draco and the kids--he played them perfectly! And the interactions with Ginny were fun too--especially Draco stealing biscuits. I'm very much looking forward to reading more!
It's really nice to see how supportive Molly, Hermione, and Luna were, and at the same time sad that Ginny thought they wouldn't be. I'm glad she'll have them to lean on. And I'm very interested to see what happens when Draco shows up at Ginny's Quidditch match. Thanks for the update!
Hooray! I'm so glad you're writing this again! I love Draco in this chapter, with all of his snarkiness. I am looking forward to reading more!
Sacrifice for the sake of love is a noble intention, but the price of the result is usually high.Category: Completed Short Stories
I like the vague ending very much! Though what I think I like the best is just how Gryffindoric Ginny acted, rushing into the ritual just because it could save lives, despite Draco's attempts to make sure she understood the risks. Thanks for posting!
In order for Draco to regain control of his assets after the war, he is required to marry. For Draco, this can mean only one witch - Pansy Parkinson. Who, you may ask is the Ministry liason for both Malfoy and Parkinson? Ginny Weasley.Category: Works in Progress
Hee hee! This looks like it will be a fun story. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the dynamics between Draco and Ron, Hermione and Blaise, and, of course, Ginny and Draco. Thanks for posting!
I had to read the last part of that scene twice, so I could really understand what's going on under the surface. Poor Draco! He really doesn't have a clue. Luckily, the Ministry saw fit to give him Ginny, and not some idiot like Dawlish, to help him out. Whatever would become of him otherwise? He really might end up with Pansy! *Shudders* Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Thanks for your sweet review. I think it\'ll all be more clear in the next couple of chapters.
Poor Pansy! I'm glad Ginny finally took pity on her, even if it led to her own situation going down the drain. I hope Draco has tons of trouble finding her. He deserves to be put through the ringer! The idiot. Oh well. I have trust in you, so I won't get too discouraged. Thanks for the update. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one!
I love the idea of Ron giving Draco advice on how to charm women! The sad thing is that he really needs it. Hopefully Pansy's plan will work, after Ginny makes Draco suffer quite heavily, of course! Thanks for the update!
Valentine's Day brings a surprise, but not the one Ginny was hoping for.Category: Works in Progress
“Don’t sell yourself short,” Ginny said. “I’m sure you’ve annoyed loads of people at the same time.” I almost spit water out of my mouth at that line! Hee hee! Thanks for the update!
Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
I'm glad that Ginny is really starting to stand up to Draco. I guess that means she is feeling a little more comfortable with the whole situation now. I'm looking forward to seeing what else happens at this dinner party!
Author's Response: I like that Ginny can assert herself a bit. It wouldn\'t be any fun if she couldn\'t voice her opinion.
Ginny's cattiness was lots of fun! It's too bad their evening was interrupted by Voldemort, though. He ruins everything! Oh well. Hopefully things will be better once Draco returns. Thanks for the update!
(By the way, I'm with Draco when it comes to mango--nasty stuff, that!)
I really like the way you are structuring this story. It seems like every little bit of progress that Ginny and Draco make in their relationship is balanced by something horrible of equal magnitude that happend outside the Manor. It really builds the tension effectively. Of course, it always leaves me wondering just how long you can go on doing that before something breaks. And hopefully that something won't be my monitor! I'm starting to get really, really frustrated! Even so, thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Sorry, I;m not trying to be evil. I\'m just trying to balance the light and the dark.
Damn! They just can't get a break, can they? I just hope Leo is okay! Thanks for the update, I think. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next chapter, that's for sure!
Author's Response: Leo will be fine. They\'ll suffer a bit more.
