Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
You were right about Draco and Ginny having to face more trials, weren't you? Actually, that was a really stupid thing for me to say; it's your story, after all, so you should know. But this keeps getting more and more complex! I'm looking forward to a resolution, though. Thanks for the update!
A fanfictional adaptation of the well known tale about the Frog Prince, in which Draco is a frog and Ginny is a closeted kleptomaniac.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is wonderful! I love Draco and Ginny's bantering relationship, and the way the tone of your piece helped highlight that. I also liked the way you switched back and forth between "real life" and the fairytale. This is the most fun I have had reading in a while. Thanks so much for posting!
After frighteningly realistic dreams lead Ginny to France, she finds herself thrust into the middle of a war no one knows about, led by a man no one would have ever suspected. Can she save him from an unimaginable fate? Will she make it out of France alive?Category: Works in Progress
I'm enjoying your story so far. I like that the readers are just as much in the dark--and just as frustrated!--as Ginny is. Of course, I do have a pretty good idea of who "he" is, so I'm at least a little better off than she is. :) Anyway, I am looking forward to finding out just what is behind Ginny's dreams!
Author's Response: Thanks for the wonderul review! Ginny figures it out (well, most of it) very soon. I hope you stick with us!\r\n\r\n
Can Draco convince Ginny to take what she wants?Category: Works in Progress
Oh my gosh. That was really hot. Your Draco is deliciously evil, with just enough of a softness at the end to make this into a romance. Thanks for posting this! I'm looking forward to reading more.
Author's Response: Thank you :) I\'m blushing, really. This started out with Draco just being evil, but it turned into so much more. Thanks for reading. I\'m working on Part II already!
“Isn’t it comforting to know some things turn out just the way they’re supposed to?"Category: Completed Short Stories
I really like that you allowed both Ginny and Draco to be ambivalent about the war in their own ways. Ginny's determination to trust that things will come out all right is really poignant. Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing! I\'m glad her forced confidence came through!
She knew what the Order would think, if they could see her: Poor Ginny Weasley, who had been seduced by darkness. Well, the truth was, darkness hadn’t really had to try very hard.Category: Completed Short Stories
First in the 'His' trilogy
I really enjoyed this. You used contrasts really effectively in many ways, and the mood is so bittersweet. Thanks for writing it, and I hope you will consider writing more!
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'m glad you enjoyed it! I\'m thinking of writing a companion piece that goes a little deeper into their story, but I haven\'t decided whether to make it from Draco\'s POV or keep it in Ginny\'s. I\'m just so excited so many people liked it, a million ideas are floating through my head now, lol!
On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, nine ladies dancing . . .Category: Completed Short Stories
"Dance with me, Weasley."
"Fine. But only to keep you safe from Mrs. Delacour."
This is hilarious! I especially like the pears and the geese. And the snogging, of course! Thank you for posting--it made my night!
Author's Response: The geese one is definitely one of my favorites, and thanks so much for reading!
*Final chapter added* Parenting can be overwhelming, even for wizards. Especially when there are teenagers involved. Draco and Ginny, summoned to Hogwarts for a conference with their children's Head of House, share an interlude neither can forget.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is absolutely classic. I love the way that you managed to write it within the confines of canon, and keep everyone entirely in character, but still give us our D/G moment. My favorite things were the subtle details--things like Ginny not realizing that Draco hadn't made a mistake at Halloween, and more importantly, the fact that she was able to believe him depends on his wife resembling her so much. Or Draco's comment on coveting a co-worker's wife. Or Slughorn reaching for the candy, wanting refreshments while he watched the show. I love the recurring theme of genetics, and the way that the generations reflect each other. And that's just the beginning. Anyway, I think I will stop here. I bet it will take about ten more readings to really appreciate the story thoroughly, and I'll enjoy every one!
What a fun ending! I love that you left it open-ended. It means that I can make up my own ending, and I'm sure you can guess what it is! Thanks for adding to this--it certainly adds interest (and hope!) to the story!
Twelve days can be a lifetime, yet Epiphany must always come.Category: Completed Short Stories
It took a second reading to really appreciate this story, but I love the subtlety of it, and the slow awakening Ginny experiences. Thanks for writing this, even if it wasn't what you planned at first!
Author's Response: Every time I would read through it to edit it, I would come across new layers of meaning, which is pretty amazing considering I wrote it. Thanks for reading, twice!
Ginny and Draco exchange Christmas Stockings. Fluff abounds.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is really cute. I really like that Draco knows Ginny better than she thinks he does. But I would really like to find out what's in Draco's stocking!
Author's Response: Thank you! Perhaps I'll add Draco's stocking surprises at a later date. Thanks for reading! -seegrim
It's never too late for a change of heart.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was a lot of fun. I lparticularly oved the Trio as the ghosts of Christmas whatever. The ending was also perfect--full of promise without being cheesy. Thanks for posting it!
Author's Response: You\'re very welcome. It was a lot of fun to write, too. :)
Two co-workers decide that something needs to be done about the excesses of Christmas spirit.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is so much fun! I love the pranks, and the subtle hints that Draco has been interested all along. It's nice twist on the usual Christmasy story, but I can't help but think that they will both be in a much happier mood next year! Thanks for posting!
All Ginny wants for Christmas is for the children of the Children’s War Memorial Orphanage to be happy. But in order for this to happen, Father Christmas will need to appear as promised. Too bad everyone has found something better to do.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is very cute! I particularly like little Gabby's question. :) Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: I adore Gabby, she is modeled after a little girl I work with :-P Thank you for your review!
Sometimes we discover the truth too late...Category: Completed Short Stories
I love the ending, even though it is horribly sad. The whole story was nicely crafted. You gave just the right amount of detail, and I really like the contrasts between the two mirrors. Thanks for posting this!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind review! I\'m glad you enjoyed the story. I liked the contrast of the two mirrors as well. :o)
Draco overhears Ginny giving a friend advice, that dating is just a game. He decides to try to play with Ginny.Category: Works in Progress
This is interesting. I like the way each is playing the other, though I suspect that Ginny is the one who is really in control. I'm looking forward to the second part!
Will Draco ever get Ginny in bed? He feels that they're ready, but our tomboyish beauty seems awfully attached to her pants. Or maybe she just likes driving him crazy...Category: Works in Progress
This seems like a fun start. I like the way Ginny stands up for herself. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this!
History tends to repeat itself and someone always needs protecting.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is very well written. I really liked the way you wove the parallel stories together. It makes me wonder whether Dumbledore knew about Harry somehow--and what he might have known about Ginny and Draco before he died. Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading! I\'m glad you liked it and didn\'t have too much trouble following my thinking.
When Harry leaves Ginny for Hermione, Draco decides it's time to fulfill an old fantasy. Twenty five is a little old to experience her first one night stand, but Ginny thinks she can handle it.Category: Works in Progress
Ronald Weasley was in the middle of stirring Hermione’s books in the bathtub, when someone knocked on his front door.
Oh my gosh! That line totally cracked me up! It's the perfect image! This is certainly an interesting start. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this!
I just love Ron in this story. The way he reacted to finding out aboutr Ginny and Draco's night was great--disgusted, but not overly so. I'm enjoying Pansy's contrast between devious and shy as well. It will be fun to see how she ends up "encouraging" Ginny and Draco to get together. Thanks for the update!
Hee hee! I love it that Blaise actually slapped Draco. I'm also still really enjoying Ron in all his nervousness, and consulting Ginny about his tie. Very sweet! Anyway, thanks for the update!
Draco is an idiot. But that's par for the course, I guess. I'm looking forward to finding out what makes him come to his senses. And I love the image of Ginny sleeping face down in a cake! Thanks for the update!
In her dreams, she remembers him. (Epilogue compliant)Category: Completed Short Stories
I really like the contrasts between day and night in this--it accepts reality, but still leaves room for the past. Thanks for posting it!
"I watch my memories like a picture show behind my lidded eyes and let them relax me. It has been such a happy, fulfilling life…"Category: Completed Short Stories
This is really beautiful and bittersweet. Your descriptions are so perfect that I can picture myself there, in Ginny's shoes. Thanks for posting it!
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I had hoped it would come off more bittersweet than just sad. I really try to make the reader see what I see, so I\'m glad the descriptions were good enough. :o) Your review means so much to me; thank you!! :o)
Were you demanding a clear ending to 'Interlude'? Then this is what you wanted.Category: Completed Short Stories
*Happy sigh* I do love a happy ending. Not that I didn't love the original ending, too! But sometimes it is nice to actually open the present instead of just imagining what might be inside. Thanks for posting this!
