It's his last summer holiday before leaving Hogwarts and Draco is in agony over missing Ginny. A wonderful discovery in his father's library gives him the power to be with her...but who will pay the price for the ghastly mistake he overlooks?Category: Works in Progress
What an excellent chapter! Ron is too often portrayed as a clueless older brother who goes on a rampage when he finds out about Draco. Here he is the voice of reason, despite being really, really, really angry. I think it's too easy to dismiss the close relationship between Ron and Ginny (as evident in CS) when writing D/G. You address that very well here. Love your writing!!!
Author's Response: My ego has been boosted! ;) Thanks for the great review. I really appreciate your thoughts.
Another great chapter! I love how your characters, even Narcissa, have depths and complexity. Can’t wait to see if her plan works.

Five Death Eaters in training meet utter defeat at the hands of a Weasley girl who knows the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.Category: Long and Completed
It's great how you give each of the Death Eaters a distinctive personality (and quirks). The best part would have to be interaction between the characters - hilarious but absolutely believable. You have a way with words that just grabs a reader's attention. I love each and every one of your stories.
In dire need of funds, Ginny accepts the position of chef in the Malfoy household after the house elf liberation. Will she get more than she bargined for?Category: Works in Progress
I love your writing style! It's vivid and very descriptive (is my mouth suppose to water when reading this?). The idea of incorporating magic in the cooking and serving of food is very creative and J.K. Rowling-like. Sometimes I wish my plate would conveniently disappear when I'm done eating, too, just to spare the trouble of doing the dishes. And the house elves fiasco is a nice touch, too. My only gripe (and it's really hard to think of one) is the chapter title, which reminds me too much of 'Friends'.
Author's Response: the chapter titles are suposed to remind you of friends, I was waiting for someone to catch it. I'm an avid fan, I own every season on dvd and have friends nights with my best friend whenever we can. tonight at work all me and my coworkers kept saying was, "but we were on a break!"
*Winner of the Draco/Ginny Fanfiction Award for Best Novel Length Story.* "Perhaps not everything is as black and white as it appears. Perhaps, even my father was tangled in a web of his own emotions, and in the end it spelled his death. Perhaps I too will share his fate, dying not for the cause I believe in, but for that which I cannot foresee." The ever weaving threads of our own decisions can lead to irrevocable knots, and when Lucius Malfoy is destroyed by unexpected forces, his son, Draco, is thrown into a world of political intrigue, insatiable passion and desperate gambits, opening doors he never thought to look for, and creating a life he never thought he would have as his own.Category: Long and Completed
Orignal plot, interesting dialogue, and *flawless* characterization (you might be tired of hearing the compliments over and over again, but it bears repeating). You captured Draco’s persona in the canon so perfectly that it I’m reminded of the way he supposed to look in the books. Draco (unlike Lockhart or Cedric Diggory) was never perceived as good-looking by anyone, except maybe Pansy. I think you’d still have a great fic, maybe a better one, without Draco being physically beautiful. Still, I love how you depict Draco's “presence” among his peers.
Author's Response: I don't mind hearing it over and over. It tells me I did a good job on the characterization. I considered making Draco unattractive, but I couldn't do it in the end. I love gorgeous and sexy Draco Malfoy, even though he wasn't supposed to be that way.
I like how Ginny doesn't stoop to using other boys to forget Draco or make him jealous. She really has matured from the beginning of the story. Draco, on the other hand... Another excellent chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! Draco is growing in a totally different way then Ginny. Draco is a hoarder, I suppose. He's accumulating a power base and setting up a future. He's becoming an adult. Ginny, meanwhile, is still a teenage girl, being a teenage girl. Her growth is more emotional wisdom, I think. ^_^
A disturbingly good chapter! The butterfly-button incident was just plain creepy - it gives me goosebumps. Great foreshadowing (it is foreshadowing, isn't it?)
Author's Response: You noticed the butterfly scene? I thought for sure people would comment, because it's so dark! I loved it. Thats Draco encapsulated, right there.
