Draco Malfoy sauntered into the dimly lit pub in the newly rebuilt Diagon Alley. He just needed a little bit of liquid courage before he did it. Or perhaps a lot.Category: Completed Short Stories
I dont often review here but I just had to say this is fabulous!
I'm still laughing at the end. This is such a great one-shot. You've really got the drunkenness from one end to the other down so well........ absolutely fabulous! * applauds*
Author's Response: Thank you very much :D I\'m glad you liked it. A drunk Draco is a fun Draco. ^_^
Harry comes home, and Ginny finds she has to leave.Category: Completed Short Stories
Firstly - I want to say I think this is a really good story. Increadably good in fact. Draco is a bit OOC but that can be explained by his war experiences - what he's gone through and his tentative friendship with Ginny evolving over warm milk and insomnia I think would bring that out more. He trusts her and would open up to her a bit more than he wold necessarily others.
I do feel however, that this is the making of what should be a longer piece. I think ( and this is just my opinion) it would benefit from more descriptions and not just a reliance on dialogue to flesh out the story. More descriptions of the characters inner monologues would also help flesh things out as well.
Also I wanted to point out that the scene where they head off to purchase the paint starts off at night and then suddenly turns to morning?
Overall you have done a really REALLY good job with this. I think it has the potential to be one of the D&G classics with a bit of tweaking.
Category: Completed Short StoriesThe only sound Draco could hear was his heart beating in his ears - or maybe it was Ginny's, he couldn't be completely sure. The tension grew more and more every passing second, to the point where it was suffocating, as both sides waited to see who would strike first.
I literally cried at this - very well done~!
