NEW, REVISED EDITION!! The Last Chapter. See what you think of this version! :)Category: Long and Completed
By the spring of her fifth year, Ginny Weasley had almost convinced herself that she didn’t really still want Harry Potter. But when he finally kissed her one Hogsmeade weekend in June, she couldn’t resist the power of all those years of waiting and watching and hoping and praying. Six months later, her dream has finally come true… except that Draco Malfoy just won’t leave her alone. Strange things are afoot, and once Ginny starts to figure out what’s really going on, nothing is as simple as it seems…
A friend recommended this story to me and I am utterly hooked! I love tales where Draco forgoes his destiny for Ginny...and you have added in just the right amount of darkness so that it doesn't dissolve into a simple romance. Wonderful job and I can't wait to read the next chapter.
So glad to come back to this story and this 'verse for a reread! I've been out of D/G for a while, but, as always, your writing pulls me right back in. I'm continually fascinated by the way you weave in the Endless and how spot on you are about Dumbledore's machinations. Brava, brava once more! (And...hee! I completely forgot that I had sent you my guesses to the ending of this tale. I really love the way it turned out.)
It is 2010, 12 years after Voldemort's downfall, and Draco Malfoy has returned to England at long last. A Draco/Ginny story.Category: Long and Completed
I read this story years ago and loved it. Recently, a friend of mine was looking for HP reviews, especially in the wake of HP: TDH, and I was so happy to rec this as one of my favorite D/G stories. So much so that I just had to go back and read it again. Funnily enough, I find it very interesting now to read older D/G stories as they reflect the differences in Ginny as a character pre-book 6 vs. post book 6. However, while your Ginny is a bit more subdued than the Ginny we come to know later, especially in HBP, you've done such a lovely job with her that she just feels like a different side of the same coin. I really enjoyed reading this one again- I've always loved your Draco Malfoy in this story. He's such a perfect blend of his old tendencies and his new life experiences. So glad to read this once more!

Oh lord, this was fantastic. I absolutely love how you've shown us spitfire!Ginny... and how the way she's been separated from the fight could undermine her relationship with Harry and open her up to other possibilities instead. Really great!
