Ha! How morbidly sad...and funny. "Got any Dracos, Harry?" is an almost-cheesy line, but so honest that you can't help but feel Ginny's pain.

I like that you left the story unresolved; we don't know if Draco's dead or not. Good one-shot!

Eee! This is so romantic! It's so Bonnie and Clyde, you know? And this chapter was very unexpected--Draco as this devoted, almost worshipful thing trying his best to take care of Ginny. I feel so horribly sorry for the two of them, and I hope they find peace. So far, however, it doesn't look like they're headed for a happy ending, does it?

Don't put these two through too much pain! (actually, feel free too; I'm loving the angst--just let them be happy at the end!) Pleeaaase!!!???

Loved it! I was a little surprised that it went into smut so quickly, especially because I was enjoying the surprise of their first meeting (and Draco's confessions) so much. But the smut was *quite* smutty (in a good way), and the two of them are being so cute together, that I look forward to the next chappie!

Loved it! My goodness, Draco's teasing and Ginny's completely rude scorn of the first part of this fic were so enjoyable. You write Ginny's voice so amusingly-- it's just little touches like "allegedly rehabilitated" and "if it were possible--somewhat gleeful". I'm not used to you being a humorous writer (you usually write lotsa angst, right?), but this fic was so much fun.

Honestly, though, my least favorite part was the dancing at the end. I thought the tango was a bit over-dramatically done, and I think Ginny gave in too easily at the end, just as Malfoy made himself too obvious.

But up until that point I thought it was a perfect fic, and it made ME gleeful just reading it! Truly, I couldn't stop grinning. So thanks for posting!

What a delight! This fic is so much fun. Ginny and Draco are both so snarky and mean and funny, and they make a perfect match. I also like how completely honest Ginny is about her feelings, with herself and everyone else.

I'm also looking forward to her succeeding at getting Ron and Hermione together!

Heehee! I loved that last bit--like a 'Got Milk?' commercial. It's cute the way Ginny teases Malfoy and the way their quasi-friendship is developing.

This chapter was a bit frustrating, since not much happened up until the prophecy. But I am curious to see what they will do next, and hope you update soon!

Great story!!

But I just wanted to point out one thing: 'Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooie' was in fact an imaginary book made up by Bill Watterson.

Mabel Barr pretty much stole the title without getting any approval from Watterson, and is promoting her book off of his fanbase. It's supposed to be a 'tribute,' but most reviewers on Amazon seem to think it sucks.

In any case, I really liked the story! Sorry to write such a somber review...

Christ, how depressing!!!! I like that you left the whole thing very vague, although if it weren't posted on this site, of course, I would have no idea whom it was about.

It's interesting that you have Harry living on and on, in his misery, while everyone else dies. I guess it sort of keeps up the canon pattern, doesn't it?

The D/G story was so sad and romantic. I guess this is a sort of gross interest of mine, but I am interested in stories where he kills her. It sort of creates an odd connection between them, and I like that you added the fact that he was in love with her. It made it all the more dramatic. And then, it didn't even matter, and they sucked his soul anyway...ghoulish. In a wonderfully dark sort of way.

Author's Response: I loved that you used the word ghoulish to describe the part where the Dementors get Draco; that\'s exactly what I wanted to convey. And your \'gross\' interest is something that really interests me, too, lol, so I suppose you\'re not TOO demented. For some reason, whenever I imagine D/G, it\'s rarely fluffy, and usually angsty. As much as I adore this pairing, I find it difficult to imagine happy endings where they\'re involved. Anyway, thanks a million for the review.

That was good! I liked how surprising their interaction was, and that you incorporated HBP canon.

But it was NOT a one-shot. This has a bit of an air of incompleteness to it. I'm curious as to what happens next, or at least what happened to get to this point.

I really liked it; it was interesting to see both of them emotionally divested but still enjoying the sex. Plus, Malfoy's intense desire for Ginny was pretty sexy, and fun to read about. I was surprised that she caved into the deal so easily, but hope that it indicates some confused feelings about Draco...?

It really would be great to get another chapter or sequel; I think that a story is good as a one-shot if it resolves a story arc, or implies some certain future. This ending didn't really do either, so I think it deserves more!

Author's Response: I acknowledge that the story seemed to end abruptly, although that was deliberate as the story was written for a smut challenge. I can\'t seem to write smut without a (long) intro. I have started to continue the story and hope to have the conclusion to this little tale when the site comes back online.

This fic is wonderful. Everything seems to come together at the end, when Draco sees Ginny dead. It felt as if the whole fic was built from that one image, as if everything centered around the realization that she is dead. I just thought it worked out really poignantly.

I didn't think the last line was meaningful enough, though. It's not ambiguous, the way others have said--it's too apathetic. Your summary says that their interludes 'changed everything, and nothing'. It's clear how it changed nothing--but we don't really see any change in Draco, or in Ginny, at all.

As you prob know, I'm a huge fan of your writing. Aside from that one caveat, I thought this fic was another great one in your repertoire!

Hallelujah! I did not think that they would manage a happy ending, because Ginny is so craptastically excellent at screwing everything up. I was SO ANGRY with her last chapter, when she tore up her letter. Oh, man. Thank god your Draco is so patient, and loved her enough to wait and take her back. I loved this fic--loved your truly screwed-up Ginny, loved the way their relationship developed, and I loved that they got a happy ending. Yay!!!

Smart girl, that Ginny. What a strangely sweet ficlet! Ginny seems to be playing with fire in this, and I wonder why. Draco just seems like a fool in love.
