Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.

Ginny and Draco each got detention one night and Snape is called away from his office, leaving them alone for a bit. Why should he be concerned, Draco and Ginny notoriously hate each other?? Well, he's certainly right on this...no doubt both hate each other with a panache, but there's a very fine line between hate and lust!!!Category: Completed Short Stories

Winner of "Best Draco Malfoy" at the Spring 2007 D/G Fic Exchange! “The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. It stands for false concepts and institutions that we take for real. You can expect to be shaken up, to be blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see.”Category: Long and Completed

wow!!i am speechless!i mean in the starting when i came to know all abt ginny i just wanted to cry but the way the story progressed is simply superb!!i love your draco, how he handled things, how he adjusted with the situations and his whole charecter, but the way you portrayed ginny is very emotional..she seemed very weak and fragile in your story but as the story progresses you adjust to that..i did hate your luna by the end and i would have liked if draco would have found his mother..good work anyways!i hope you would have written more to it..
Author's Response: Thanks. This is a really dark story, and I wrote it while I was in a dark place myself. I think that's why their emotions resonate so much. Nobody is really evil or pure in this, and everyone is guilty of something. The end feels finished to me, and I really don't have anything else in mind for these versions of the characters. Narcissa didn't really figure into this at all, because Draco doesn't need her. He's a different person than he was when he left England, and his life as David is complete without her. Narcissa would have likely rebuilt her life and found some measure of peace in it.
After frighteningly realistic dreams lead Ginny to France, she finds herself thrust into the middle of a war no one knows about, led by a man no one would have ever suspected. Can she save him from an unimaginable fate? Will she make it out of France alive?Category: Works in Progress
