I just read this on hpfanfic.com. It kept sounding familiar and I knew that I'd read it before. Then I saw you mention that it was here and I came to take a look an lo, I had read it before and it was on my favorites. But I didn't leave a review when read it the first time. I was bad about that for awhile.

Anyway, I enjoyed your story. There were some scenes I really loved, like when Crabbe and Gotle attacked Ginny and the Pensieve scene afterward. For the most part, I liked your Draco. There were some parts where he was a bit OoC to me. But I've been reading these stories for over 12 years now, so I've built up a notion in my head of who Draco is and it's possibly different from reality. So long as he's mostly right, I can deal with a few minor differences in our notions. And you did get him mostly right. I loved how you portrayed his emotions for Ginny.
Your Ginny was great, too. Her inner angst about her relationship with Draco was great. So - teenager. I remember those thought processes rather well. Kind of embarrassing really.
Anyway, I liked your ending, particularly how Fred and George picking on Draco makes him feel like part of the family. It was cute. I could've done with a bit more of Draco and Ginny; their marriage or proposal would have been nice. All in all, great story.

I really like this story so far, I think you capture Draco and Ginny's character and I understand her internal struggle between Harry and Draco. Love it!

In chapter ten though when Draco was confessing his feelings, I noticed you quoted lines from the movie Chasing Liberty. Just thought maybe you should make sure to put a disclaimer for it.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it!rnrnGood catch on the Chasing Liberty quote; I love that scene. :-) I wasn't sure if I should put a disclaimer since it's not word for word exactly, but I'll put a note on it just in case. Thanks for the advice! :-)

Awesome first chapter for your first fic. Seriously.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! My first chapter was probably the most horrible, since I was just starting out. Lots and lots of revisions before I even went on to write the rest of it, but it finally evolved into what you see today! :-)

I read the snippet of this on the FIA forum and I have to say I am not disappointed. I will be proceeding directly to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Yay!! I'm so glad that posting on the forums led to a reader! :-)

Hmmm....that was quite short. But still good! I love this fic so much! I don't feel sorry for Harry at all! She was right with what she said! Hope you update soon! I'll be looking out for the next chapter! x

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I don't seem to be able to develop a chapter past 2500-3000ish words, I just stare at the computer screen and can't come up with anything else, haha. As long as the point gets across, my brain kind of shuts down after that. But I'm glad you like where it's going! :-)

I really enjoyed reading this story :) Although there are many fics with a 'Draco turns good and Ginny falls for him' storyline I feel like you've transcended most of them by making the pace more believable. I also liked the scene between Pansy and Draco showing Pansy's confusion and blindness. I also applaud the way you handled the debate between Draco and Ginny about Purebloods vs. Muggle-borns. I look forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was really trying to make his transition from his former self very subtle, with a little of the old Draco still lingering. It was a little difficult to argue Draco's side in his and Ginny's debate, which is probably why he gave up so fast, LOL. I'm glad it came off well!

I really like your style; I think you've captured the characters' personalities quite well.

Good job, and keep writing!

Author's Response: Thank you! I've been stressing about capturing their personalities right. :-)

What a highly strung first chapter. It's a great start. This is exactly the type of story I'd wished DH would have begun with, so it's great to see it realised in this fic.

The pace is good; fast action is well written, as I could feel that Draco didn't have the time to let all that had happened to sink in. I wonder how he'll react to his parents' deaths once he has the chance to.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter. This is an amazing first fan fic! I hope that there will be much more to come. :D

Author's Response: I was rather disappointed with Draco's lack of retribution in DH; I was hoping he would play a much larger role. Thus, my story! :-) Thank you for your review, and I hope I continue to raise your expectations with each new chapter!
