WOW! i love this story. i knew i had to read it because it had a LOT of reviews after only 5 chapters. and i see why. it's amazing. i love their journal conversations because it allows Draco to put out a side of himself that we don't get to see too often & then when they're together he can maintain is snarkiness to save face. as for harry, eh, he's annoying. poor ginny! and what was up with hermione??? hmmm. suspicious.

This story is D/G with real bite. And I love that they still talked to each other on the Instant Quillaging diary (har har har, not....) even after they both knew who the other was.

Wow, quick again! I thought the "friend" nature of their relationship was interesting here, also that Draco is sleeping around, since he was pretty clear earlier that he was into Ginny. Kinda feel like I missed something.

What a great chapter, though I am confused why Draco is calling her 'Ace'. Not that it's bad, but he hasn't called her that before (and if he has I obviously haven't noticed it), so it feels like it needs some kind of explanation.
I was really surprised to see this updated so quickly, but I'm certainly not complaining. It was great seeing Ginny and Draco both getting jealous of each other. It lets the sparks fly without rushing into things too quickly.

ah, loved the green-eyed monster bits. jealous!draco is my favorit, and i'm glad jealous!ginny got worked into this too. i hope Harry and Ginny break up soon, because he obviously doesn't care very much about her if he hasn't even noticed that she's been spending a lot of time with one of his enemies. i still retain my theory that harry is cheating on ginny with hermione, but i guess only time will tell. good job, and please update soon!

I was going to go to bed, but then I saw that this was updated, and I had to review. I really like this chapter and not because I beta-ed it. *smirks* Draco's voice is so strong. You can really see that it's him when he speaks. He's also a sarcastic little bugger, and I love seeing that side of him. I also adore his casual compliments. I mean, some will write Draco unnaturally sappy; you do not. He is only ever nice around Ginny, which you can see by how he interacts with Daphne. And that is the way it should be! Draco can be sweet, but he must only reserve this for Ginny. And when he does it, he must be somewhat of an arse about it as he is here.
He's so subtle and absent with his compliments to Ginny that it really makes your heart flutter, and that is what this fic does to me: makes my heart skip a beat. It's just the right amount of sweet.
As for Ginny, she is perfect here. She is jealous (as she should be), but she is still Ginny. She is still confident but not overtly so. She can joke and insult with the best of them (the best being Draco, of course), and she can hold her own. No wonder Draco likes her.
Megan, you are doing a wonderful job, and this is the exact kind of DG fiction we need to read: Draco and Ginny as teens, being shy, being snarky, having fun, getting hearts crushed. Yes, indeed. This is what we all need to read: life.
