You created a masterpiece. A story where the themes of courage, longing, punishment, love and fear are given meaning through the complexities of growth. What is left when innocence is lost? When you realize you can never go back to who you were and what you have isn't enough any longer? When the biggest reason to stay in a relationship is the difficulty of extricating yourself from your intertwined lives, not the love you once bore for your partner. This story is that journey. I hope to read many more of your stories.

A lovely story about the gentle progression of self, growth and change and subtle advancement into new, more fulfilling adulthood :-)

What a wonderful, amazing, well written little story. It just made me have faith that D/G can actually exist after DH (Something I'm sad to admit I lost for quite a while). So thank you for giving that back to me. :)

This was incredible. Your writing is beautiful, moving and wow, the characterisation was brilliant. Ginny and Draco were perfect, their interaction was so realistic, funny and touching at the same time - and I really, really loved Harry. That you managed to make him a sympathetic character rather than a scapegoat, and simply the wrong man for Ginny despite all his good points - and that you didn't have to put him down to exalt Draco really - takes some real skill. (I'm not sure if that makes sense, I've stayed up rather later past my bedtime to finish reading this, but I really, really enjoyed it. Well done.)

WOW! YOur language is truly beautiful! I'm really glad that Harry wasn't some sort of cheating villain in here. You made the characters believable and real, and the development of the DG relationship was beautiful! Good job! I really hope to see more from you. :)

XOXO, JT

Author's Response: I've always thought that Harry (or Ginny) cheating would be OOC for them unless there were some serious extenuating circumstances involved. I'm so happy you thought they were believable because that was the most important thing for me. Thank you so much!

Really, really beautiful. I am amazed at how much power this story had, being so short and all. I loved both Ginny and Draco's characterisations; they were exactly as I'd have imagined them in their situations. Especially with Ginny's reaction to having such an empty flat, that slowly gets more cluttered with Harry's stuff. and then Draco's reaction to himself, his realisation that he is so small in the grander scale of things and that the's spent so much of his life shaping himself to the wishes of others.

I can't even choose a favourite line, I had one, right at the start where Ginny has no clue what Harry is trying to say by 'house-sitting' for her. But now that I think of it, putting it here wouldn't do, as there are so many great sections in this story.

A true beauty. Thank you xx

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Haha, I had a lot of fun writing that Harry house-sitting scene. This story can get pretty dramatic but I try to sneak in some humor now and then. Thanks for reading!

Sometimes, in stories like these, where they are broken down in parts, the last half often doesn’t read as well as the first, and you find yourself skimming to the end, to make sure that your couple get together. Your story is not one of those stories. I can’t bring myself to skim. I want to digest every word. You are that talented of a writer. And what makes you so talented is the ability to find beauty in the mundane, in every day events. Harry and Ginny’s relationship is normal and expected and--for once--Harry is not vilified! Thank you.

What I forgot to mention in my first review was that I love your little italic side-notes from Draco and Ginny. I’m having fun trying to guess who says what. I have deduced that most of the terse comments are from Draco. Am I right? Heh.

I also forgot to mention that I love your style and the little devices you employed to convey a relatively complicated and complex story into so few words. While this story could have easily become epic in length (and I still would have loved it), I must say that I appreciate your condensed version over a lengthy one. Brevity is the soul of wit after all. I forget who said that. Bah, I’m too lazy to look it up. All I know is that it’s not my quote. ^_~

Of course, as always, I love your descriptions and imagery. You always manage to choose the right words to convey a feeling or sentiment: She loves the feel of the sheer empty space around her, the same reason she loves to fly; there’s no freedom like true, untethered freefall. And I especially love when you parallel or mirror those sentiments and expressions between characters: He loves flying: the feel of being cradled by razor-cold wind and the knowledge that no matter how far he flies—flees, falls, soars—or wherever he goes, always, always there is another sky. Clever girl, you!

Oh, and don’t think I didn’t notice the UST going on with the inn room scene. *fans face* Lord have mercy! I was practically screaming at Ginny to jump his bones! Lol. You have a real knack for leading the reader on. I anticipated the ending more than I have of any story in a long time. And that ending? When Draco kisses her back, hard and warm, Ginny hopes that if she holds on long enough, they’ll never break this freefall. *swoons* Just enough fluff and just enough poetic realism to make me very, very content.

Marvellous job, my dear. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Please do write more. I implore you. This is a favourite amongst favourites! *gives you a standing ovation* Bravo!

~Lia

Author's Response: Sigh. Your reviews are just lovely. Reading through it is a guaranteed way to make me look like a loon with a huge grin on my face. Thank you so much for your kind words, my dear! :)

Is this REALLY only going to have 2 parts?
boo.
I really would like to see how the characters develop. The italicizes statements interspersed really made me want to see atleast a few scenes of their life togehter as well.
....epilogue? please?

Author's Response: It means a lot to me that you'd like to see a sequel! Unfortunately, there's no more to be told in this story that wouldn't be better left in the reader's imagination. Thanks so much for reading!

How wonderful! I truly loved it. It's heartbreaking and full of love at the same time. And it feels so realistic. There's no OOCness in it. The characters are true to canon, but gone in a different direction. Really impressive. Thank you.

I'd love to see more, but it really is a beautiful ending, so I won't beg. :)

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! That you thought they were in-character really means a lot to me. Haha, I'm afraid that's it for this story. Thanks for reading!
