I'm quite enjoying the Ginny you have created here. I especially liked the interaction between she and Harry, how he thought of her as what she could have been and how he is uncomfortable around who she is now.

Can't wait to see what Draco is up to with his kidnapping exploit.

Author's Response: I'm sorry you cried, not really. That was my intention but I didn't think it would actually happen. I wanted a lot of sorrow to be in this story because that is outside of what I've ever done. So, I'm glad you liked it and that you cried. :]

Author's Response: Haha, poor Draco was a hopeless case in this one, and that kind of Draco is always fun with spunky Ginny. I actually went over it again just to fix up some things, but I did have a few errors again that I missed, which I have now fixed up. I guess they didn't mind that. I will be posting more of my stories on here. When I get a beta for A Marriage of Convenience, I'll definitely be posting that one, but the task of going over it myself is quite daunting. *laughs*

Author's Response: I didn't think it would be right to have Ginny having those 'curves she grew over the summer'. She's thirteen, so I decided to keep her in all her youthfulness, which included no cleavage. Haha, those daydreams were based on my own experiences. When I was that age, I was terrible for daydreaming about rather risque encounters with the boy I liked. Of course, they never happened that way. *sigh*

Anyway, I'm glad you liked this chapter. I really did just fall in love with this prompt, so I really wanted to just have fun with it. That included mocking all those "Ginny gets a makeover" stories we always seem to see. She's always described as a hooker in them, so this time I decided to have Draco call her that.

The knickers of doom! LOL Perhaps the cotton cauldrons of confusion? Has Percy given his okay for the thickness of the bottoms on those?

Okay, enough of that silliness.

I love that poor Ginny got caught perving on him in the changing room. I want to say she's innocent and didn't mean to, but she made it a point to keep quiet and wait for those boxers to drop. Too bad they didn't have little snitches on them.

Then her ignoring plans are foiled by Draco ignoring her. She really can't win this one.

Of course in the end Draco comes to his senses and lets her in. Sweet little fluffy reward for our tortured Ginny.

The best part was the last line. Even after getting what she wanted she continues on her oblivious and stubborn wanting ways. Go Ginny!

And I would love a companion story that shows what Draco is thinking in all of this.

Haha, she's innocent and yet not. I think she was just too curious for her own good, and I think her daydreams would suggest that she's not the most prudish of young girls.

Alas, poor hapless Ginny never seems to get her plans to work. I was going to write the 'ignoring' plan, but then I realised it wouldn't be very exciting, and could be just as easily dealt with in a few lines. Much like the drawing and cake idea.

Tortured sounds about right. The poor girl really did make things worse, but she did, eventually, get her reward. Those last few lines were the stuff I added in after the exchange. The original ending didn't quite cut it for me, and then I realised that I could have it come back full circle. She's not trying to get his attention now, she's instead trying to keep his attention. I love the fact she's so determined and crazy in this. It made it so much fun to write.

Anyway, I'm very happy you thought this was a good interpretation of the prompt. I did love your idea, and I wanted to do it justice. I'll be working on the companion fic soon. Right now I'm working on chapter two for Walk Like an Egyptian.

This was a perfect holiday story. It had dreams coming true, lovers reunited, and lots and lots of stars.

I loved the fact that Draco thinks she's not real when she finally shows up. He must have been drinking and thinking of five years ago when she never came and he couldn't ask her to marry him.

But he's the one who sent back the letters so he still has a lot to answer for. But for now, he's forgiven.
