*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
Since I'm years too late on finding you, the no more novels thing is alright with me. I only ever read completed works, (unless it's an author I've been following forever and even then sometimes I'll wait until they're finished with a fic before I'll read it), so it doesn't really bother me much. :) I love your writing, and want to see more, but since I mainly read completed, I'm not at all a stickler on length. Wether it be 100 words or 100,000,000 I'm happy.
Loved this by the way, can't wait to check out more of your works.
I think you did just fine with McGonagall. I would have been surprised if she had welecomed Draco with open arms. However, I do think she's got a compassionate heart underneath it all, and once she gets her closure/the grief has time to settle...well, I still don't think she'll welecome him with open arms, but I do think she'll be less hostile towards him. More neutral perhaps. At least, that's how I always pictured her during the time between the 6th and 7th book when I used to theorize what would happen.
I don't know if you answered this in any of the A/Ns (I've only been reading about every other one) but why is it that Ginny saw bits of Harry's life before seeing Harry in the presant but Draco went straight for the now? At first, I thought that it was just a "first use" thing, but now that Draco's used it, I don't know what to think.
You've got me so curious about Nott, a character I've hardly looked twice at any other time. You made him interesting.
You know, I'm finding myself rather liking Pierce. Sure, his motives are evil, and he's a manipulative bastard, but I think that's part of his charm. He's like a cross between Snape and Dumbledore; selfish, slightly insane, not quite evil, but not quite good, always with his own agenda and completely lovable.
I like that Ginny and Draco each seem to be developoing qualities from the other's perspective house. I always felt that each House had it's strong points, and it's weaknesses. There's no inherent good or evil about any one of them and developing qualities mostly found a particular house isn't a bad thing...in my personal opinion.
I know reviews are supposed to be about the writing, and I do LOVE your style (and I admit to being picky about style and writing quality I compliment)and your writing quality is excellent. But since it is so good, I find myself commenting on the story arc and characters and getting too caught up in it to stop and pick apart the imagery and wording. Hope you don't mind. :)
Draco snorted. “You haven’t won. The Boy Wonder’s won. Don’t fool yourself Ginny, you’re nothing but a groupie.”Category: Completed Short Stories
She looked at him with solemn eyes. “You’re wrong.”
Draco and Ginny have one last conversation.
Damn. That was so beautiful and sad.
Ginny uses unusual methods to convince Draco to trade sides. (This is alternative Hogwarts era and takes place Draco's last year.)Category: Completed Short Stories
That was really good. XD I loved it.
