The wonderful world of Harry Potter has been my constant companion and comfort blanket for the last decade. As much as I love the series and the epilogue...I sail the good ship Draco/Ginny. I also love Draco/Ginny/Blaise, Blaise/Ginny and Blaise/Luna. Generally I have mad love for my fave snakes but I DO NOT like Hermione/Snape. I think its just gross. I love them both, just not together. Lets stick to the holy union of Fire and Ice.

I love OCD Draco. I think this is brilliant. I don't really see it as OOC because there is still so much about Canon!Draco that we don't actually know, that this bit could be what makes him 'Draco'. Very interesting.
I hope the updates come soon and that those two chapters are already completed. Looking forward to the other chapters.

Snape is like an Alpha wolf. Sniffing around, protecting his pack. It's nice, I like that characterisation of him. Draco is interesting. I love that he notices little things about Ginny like her bum when she walks away. Hopefully she makes it to his dormitory to return his book before he actually needs it. Lovely chapter. I look forward to the next update.
Author's Response: It's funny. I didn't really like this Snape. Maybe it's because I love Snape as a character, and I felt he was prejudiced and unnecessarily nasty to Ginny. But I kinda had to do it to him for the plot. Oh well, I'm making him nice (well, at least, happy...content) in my next story so maybe he will forgive me. Thanks for reviewing. :)

I love Snape as a character too. I just think him being nasty to Ginny right now is just his way of letting her know that he's looking out for Draco and that he's watching for any nefarious activity. Snape is just a bit rough around the edges I think. He's used to dealing with Death Eaters not little red-haired girls.

Wow! A new story, but Vineyard Summer isn't done yet. I hope you won't abandon VS in favour of this.
I love the premise - all that character death. I usually love stories with Draco and Blaise being friends, with this one there seems to be some tension. I'm anxious about how that will turn out but I'm loving this so far.
The line “I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable,” he said firmly. “I won't ask anymore questions like that of you. Will you stay and have a drink with me?” almost made me fall off my bed. So honest but charming is Draco.
So looking forward to the next update, Jess. This has the makings for an awesome story.
Author's Response: The next chapter of VS is with my betas, and I'm working on the following one right now. I have this one that is burning a hole in my head and another one, which I am trying not to focus on too much until VS is done.

I think Draco will be truer to form in this. I love him in VS too. Very honest but still human and canon.
I wonder if the two Slyths will compete for her attentions. That would be interesting. I like that even though Ginny is working in a Cabaret and she is in no way a prude, she doesn't compromise her values either. I love that her list is short and she only kisses if she feels like it. It shows that she isn't cheap and can't be bought.

this story was pretty much inspired at the beginning of the year when i was taking a musicals class. It's a combination of inspiration from Moulin Rouge and All That Jazz, although the other piece I'm working on (that won't get posted until VS is done) is a combo of inspiration from All That Jazz and the movie i hated the most, The Dutchess. Jess, I adore this story. I wish you would update sooner. I had to reread the previous chapter to remember what was happening.
I love this chapter though. I love that Draco just chatted with her ad asked her questions and didn't try anything. I'm still not sure if he and Blaise are on the outs as you say. That Nini girl is trouble, I don't like her one bit. I hope somebody gets rid of Ginny's debt and doesn't just move it as she is worried about.
