Okay, so clearly the thought of Draco actually offering to teach Ginny how to insult people with his own natural flair is a far cry from canon Draco, but that's what makes fanfiction so wonderful. I didn't doubt for a moment while reading this that he would do that, and that is a true show of your writing skills. You wrote your own Draco, and you made me believe in him. Plus, those business cards were hilarious.
I turned into a complete romantic sap at this:
'Every single one of my insults to you over the years – and that’s a lot, I know – was my version of pulling your pigtails. Please take that for what it’s worth.
I only printed up one copy of the “King of Insults” business card, and I carried it around for three months before I gave it to you.'
As I said, this was completely adorable. I don't think I've ever read a declaration of love so cute and yet still so Draco-ish. You managed to make it fluffy, but not sickeningly so.
I'm very glad I decided to read this, as it was exactly what I needed. ^_^

I liked the little interlude with Blaise. I wonder if he is Draco's friend, or if Draco will be a 'darker' character.

I've been terribly slack with reviewing this, and I'm sorry for that. The thing is, I just can't get over the fact our fics have the same name, and now I'm beginning to see similarities between them, which is just scary. Of course, I know you probably haven't read my fic, but I'm sure you can appreciate my confusion.
In any case, I think you've got an interesting set up here. Is Lucius going to become the bad guy or is he, in fact, supportive of this marriage? I guess I'll have to read on and see. ^_^

Basically she was daydreaming and she realized something, so she wanted to ask him about it. So this was the drabble that turned into a one-shot? I found this rather adorable. There was a lot of dark things going on, of course, but you softened that with the humour and sappy smile-inducing moments -- and there were definitely a lot of those. That whole part where they're hiding in the alcove together just had me smiling. ^_^
Author's Response: I'm quite certain that after Ron punched him, Draco did go off and hide somewhere. Sticking him in a little alcove just made sense.
Once they were in there, I could only imagine the intensity of the battle being just a bit surreal for them, which is why I went with the touches of humor. I think it would be a normal coping mechanism to distract themselves, since they are in the battle yet somewhat removed from it. They don't know what's really going on, just that they are frightened and I would think that it is human nature to cling to the nearest person who gives some sense of security. So glad you enjoyed!!!

Hahaha, this is great! I'm loving Aunt Muriel, and Ginny is a nice combination of girlishness and stubborness. Her conversation with Draco, while short, also gave me a nice taster of what is to come.

I'm loving Draco's nonchalent attitude towards Ginny. It's so much yummier than if he were acting like a pompous git all the time.
He kissed her! I'm a bit torn over that. There's a part of me that is very happy, but I also felt it seemed a bit rushed and almost plonked in the chapter. Still, I am happy they kissed and that things seem to be progressing nicely between them.
Hehe, poor Ginny is so clueless around the gentleman version of Draco. I do think he would be very natural about taking her arm, etc. If he's born to have that traditional manners, of course he would useit when going on a date with her.
Oddly, though I write some of the fluffiest rubbish in the world, I have a great aversion to over-romantic dates and things, and the picnic seemed the eptiome of cliche to me. But that, of course, is just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy reading the date; I just wanted to laugh all the time because it was almost too romantic for me. But, of course, Ginny doesn't have to feel the same way I do, lol. I'm sure she liked it very much.
Cute, though I can't help but feel like I'm stuck on a roller coaster. Their emotions are constantly switching from one to the next. It's quite hard to keep track of sometimes. ^_~
Ahh, sometimes I want to slap Ginny. Draco obviously has more patience than I do.
