AU. The war is over and people have moved on. Draco and Ginny are married with children and everything seems perfect until old family secrets start to surface. What secret does Draco hold about the final battle? What does that secret mean to his daughter and her possible love?Category: Works in Progress
In canon, when they are sorted, it goes last name, then first. Malfoy, Arianna, not Arianna Malfoy. Good work so far though.
Author's Response: Sorry that I missed that. Excuse my blunder. Thanks.
One-shot. The war has finally ended, but there are still entanglements to work out, especially between Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh, this is angsty. Very nice, how Ginny was having troubles, a change from the usual loving Ginny and non commital Draco. Very well written.
Of course, now he realized that Ginny hadn’t been the one in denial. It had been him. He nodded his head slowly before reaching for the door knob. He was sure of that at least.
The next day, he volunteered for Italy.
That little bit just showed so much character, and was very well written. Thanks for the wonderful ficlet.
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you liked it. Oh, reading the last line gets to me, too. It\'s been a long time since I read this - haha, my own work but I started off with that sentence actually and worked backwards from there. Again, thanks for reviewing!
Seven years after the Second Wizard War, a mother tells her daughter the story of the man she loves, who disappeared after the war ended to save his and his lover’s life. The Wizarding World has settled down again, peace returning to them after the defeat of Lord Voldemort. Written in first person, present tense, from the point of view of a seven year old girl. Pre-book seven.Category: Works in Progress
I really like the perspective of the child, usually you do not get that point of view. I am really enjoying this fic, I cannot believe I have not found it before! I cannot wait for the next chapter, it has really drawn me in. I am quite surprised, actually; I usually don't care as much unless it is one of the classics/ really really really good ones. Your writing could use a little work, and because of the childs point of view, there is not much depth, but it is still intrigueing. Update when you can, and thanks for the chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks for the tips! I\'m trying to put as much depth as I can in the path that Cissa will use in her attempts to find Draco, and in the flashbacks we will be seeing a lot of! I just sent in a chapter, it has a flashback, hopefully it will have some depth! And you\'re welcome for the chapter! ^^
Great new Chapter. Thanks for the update; I really enjoyed the flashback!
Author's Response: Yay! I\'m very glad you enjoyed it!
Ooh, what is on the card?
Author's Response: You\'ll see soon enough!....actually, not that soon, now that I think about it. Well, eventually! ;)
SEQUEL TO DRAGON AND ANGEL. Draco and Ginny return from their honeymoon ready to live happily ever after, but their vast differences in background and family values make for an interesting start to their married life. Add Draco's inexperience with pregnant women and the stage is set for hilarity, confusion and embarrassment.Category: Works in Progress
Wonderful, long chapter. I think Ginny had every right to be angry, particularily while pregnant. The twins were very sweet in this installment, and I liked the interactions between Ginny and Narcissa. Thanks for the update.
Author's Response: Thank you :) Ginny is still finding her feet and doesn\'t quite understand how the business works yet. Of course, being newlywed and pregnant isn\'t helping her logical thinking processes either ;)
*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).Category: Works in Progress
Haha! A new chapter! Thanks so much for the update, it was so long it was worth the wait. Keep it up and please, please, please update soon, as I love this fic.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Wow I adore this fic. I loved it from the beginning, and you actually have gotten me into Manga, from Boys over Flowers, which is an awesome name.
Poor Ginny. NEVER accept a drink from a strange guy in a bar, as you never know what he put in it.
Did he put something date-rapeish in it? Will Draco believe her and kick that bastard's arse?
I cannot wait for the next chapter. Update when Real Life, that terrible miscreant who takes time from our wonderful fic writing, allows?
Author's Response: Excellent!! Glad you\'ve started the manga - I\'ve actually just started it myself (I\'ve seen the anime, the Taiwanese version and I\'ve practically memorized the Japanese version, I\'ve seen it so many times). And, you\'ll just have to wait to see the answers to your questions, because there definitely ARE answers...
Wonderful chapter, thank you so much for writing it.
Update when real life allows.
I like how you can incorporate something from another source, while keeping the characters true to canon, and the plot your's. it is a difficult thing to do, and so I must commend you for your efforts.
There are three things that truly matter to Lucius Malfoy: his family, his wealth and his blood. So of course, it was of utmost importance that his son marry a pureblood. Thus Lucius begins to arrange the perfect bride for his son. She must have both beauty and brains. She must be skillful with a wand, but with the elegance to know when to use it. When it comes down to it there is really only one woman that matches the criterion, but she comes with one problem: She’s a Weasley.Category: Long and Completed
Oh, so sweet! Wonderful chapter, very nice.
A small ‘oof’ of surprise was emitted by the person Draco had run into, and as he looked down on bright red hair, his breath caught in his chest. For a brief moment their eyes were locked on each other’s, and Draco simply took in the appearance of the littlest Weasley.Category: Works in Progress
AU; set to my own deliberately skewed version of Harry Potter history. OOC.
Rated Naughty for sexual innuendo and swearing.
I don't think they would have demolished and gotten rid of Slytherin House, but that is my personal opinion as I love the concept of Slytherin. Good fic so far though, and I will carry on with the rest of it!
Author's Response: I love the concept of Slytherin too, trust me! I\'m a big D/P fan! So I don\'t really know why I felt the need to get rid of Slytherin. It just happened as I wrote. I guess I needed a convienient way to get rid of most of the older Slytherins, and an excuse for Draco to get his own room, without having to resort to making him HeadBoy.
Ginny catches Harry with another woman. What will she do for revenge?Category: Works in Progress
very nice chapter.
I have a friend who is just like Hermione, with the lists and color coding. One year, she had a shopping system with colors, cross referenced with border pattern, so that you could see (in her mind at lease) precisely what you needed to do. But this is off topic.
Wonderful chapter! Thanks for the update.
Author's Response: Your friend should get a job as an event planner. I didn\'t think anyone was really that organized. Thanks for the review.
When Ginny Weasley becomes Draco Malfoy's wife, he suspects neither her true identity nor her dangerous motives. But when all Hell breaks lose and their relationship takes unexpected turns, there is more at stake than preserving their marriage--namely, preserving their lives.Category: Long and Completed
I like how this is developing. I cannot get enough of this fic, and the intrigues! It has turned out so differently than I thought it would. In the beginning, I did not think it would be nearly as captivating, suspenseful and dark as it is. Oh, you are good!
Author's Response: thanks :) I hear that a bit more than I expected, and I\'m glad that you suffered through all the ditsy dinner, shopping sprees and tea parties. I\'m not sure if saying that it gets darker is true, but... well... It is. Thanks for the review!
Draco and Pansy like to play games. What happens when a Polyjuice Plan goes wrong?Category: Works in Progress
Wow that was a long wait, I actually thought it was going to be a one shot. Thanks for updating, and please be faster this time!
Author's Response: Sorry it took so long, I was without a beta for this story. Try as I might, I just can\'t do it alone. (Damn commas.)
Wow this is one of the first fics where I want Gin to ditch Draco (womens lib and all that jazz). Good job, but I hope it all ends well.
Author's Response: I think it will end with him changing his ways and apologizing profusely.
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
Aww, so sad.
update soonish
Author's Response: I will definitely try, thanks!
A wonderful chapter after a long wait. This fis, anc Break in the Sun, are two of my favorite fics of all time, so am so happy when there is an update. You give such passion into your writing, and you can feel the characters and setting. Amazing work, and this chapter was no exception.
Cheers!
Natasha
Author's Response: Thank you! I know it\'s been a long time, the exchange fics got me sidetracked. I hope to update more regularly now :)
The long-term effects of trauma, and of a moment's connection.Category: Completed Short Stories
I have no clue what the song might be, *slapbadcontessa* but loved the ficlet anyways. I suppose you will not tell me the song until it has been guessed?
Author's Response: I totally would if there was a way to tell just you. Sorry!
Ginevra finds out that she is a Vampiress and works towards showing everyone that she can be happy with who she is becoming. Draco is a Veelan, and finds that Ginevra is immune to his charms. DG. -The future always changes- Draco/GinnyCategory: Works in Progress
Hello, my name is Mary Sue! The idea is alright, though a little corny and unoriginal, but Ginny is likely to turn into a Mary Sue, even though she is a canon character. Good writing style, though, but be careful! I will keep reading and will review the next chapter if you wish.
Author's Response: hi mary sue ... ^o)
i am aware that the idea isn\'t an original one - i did point that out at the start of the chapter and i am constantly working to make the idea different and my own style.
i think that ginny did go mary sue at one point, but it was neccessary and then she went back to a normal person again :)
i would like it if you read the next chapters! :)
thanks for your review! :)
Ginny knows that Draco wants her. How does she convince him that he needs her?Category: Long and Completed
Very nice.
Author's Response: Thanks :)
Draco is a conundrum to Ginny, as he has all the virtues she dislikes, and none of the vices she admires and yet, she can’t help herself but love him.Category: Completed Short Stories
Fabulous! I loved the "You love me"''s. Good job.
Five years ago, Ginny and Draco had a secret relationship at Hogwarts. Now, Ginny is engaged to an American Muggle. What will happen when Draco shows up at the engagement party?Category: Long and Completed
Aww so bittersweet. Very nice. Update when Real Life allows.
How could you do that to us! So sad...
I love your Ginny, but Draco somehow seems... off. Also, if Annabelle is seven, most seven year olds I know are much more mature than that, and have grown out of their lisp's. But, she is your character, so I will not bug you to much on that. Great fic so far, keep it up.
A piece of me died as I watched her marry him.Category: Completed Short Stories
Ah the pangs of unrequinted love. At first, I thought it was Draco talking (Don't know why, just did, may have been the Pansy thing or Squad thing) but then at the end it was not, and I was happy. But still sad. How bittersweet. Fabulous job, an amazing example of what a one shot should be,
Author's Response: What an awesome review- thank you! I wrote this to be confusing, so I\'m glad to hear that you vacillated over who the author was. :)
A witch and a wizard meet at Worlds' End. A Sandman crossover. Sequel to Sleep Spent.Category: Completed Short Stories
Both this and the prequel are... strange, but beautiful. Good work.
