"He hasn’t woken up beside her in almost twenty years, but he still wakes each morning thinking she’s there."Category: Completed Short Stories
Nineteen years later, Astoria watches her husband and Ginny Potter at the train station.
awwww this is the perfect way to explain jk's ending in that horrible epilogue. it's so sad, but so poignant. i love it!
Author's Response: hahaha, I have been actively searching for fics which explain the Epilogue. I\'d rather have Ginny love and suffer than to be the faithful little twit JKR decided to turn her into in the last book. I\'m glad you enjoyed my interpretation, thank you for your kind review.
Ginny finds out what she's been missing out on when she ventures into a Muggle nightclub.Category: Completed Short Stories
i love it! when ginny hits draco in the chin i laughed for like 5 minutes cuz that sounds like something i would do. this story is so funny, filled with cute little phrases that i'm sure i'll use in conversations. great job.
Author's Response: Haha I took that bit from my own experiences, I\'m glad others can relate, which proves I\'m not the only goof out there. :P Thank you so much for your review, it really made my day. :)
Draco doesn't remember their past together, and now she's just a Weasley to him. Ginny will do anything -jump through all the hoops, pose as an interior decorator, tap dance -ANYTHING- to break the spell that erased his memory and make him love her again.Category: Long and Completed
aww i'm so excited to see how this pans out! draco not remembering his love for ginny is so heartbreakingly sad. please update as soon as you can! it's fabulous!
Author's Response: Hey! Thanks so much! Yeah, I have a penchant for bittersweet D/G, or so I'm told ;) I know it's pretty sad right now, but it will get better! Not right away, though. LOL. Thanks for your awesome review. I will update ASAP!
yes there is a definite amount of squealing that needs to take place!! what an awesome chapter! i love that draco is finally coming to his sense! thanks for updating! can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response:
LOL! Yay for happy squealing! :D Thanks so much! ^_^
woot! happy endings are the absolute best! i'm so excited he finally remembered. and they're going to have adorable children!
Author's Response:
:D Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! And yeah, it HAD to have a happy ending! They went through enough, poor kids. :D
Ginny never thought Draco Malfoy would become her guardian...But then, he never thought she would become his.One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
intergalactic. what a silly word. it's fun to say.
i loved it! the way draco realizes his heart is beating right before he dies is so perfect. horribly sad, but perfect. ahh i'm glad i read this, it perked my day up. thanks! great story!
Author's Response: Ohmygosh, I was so NOT expecting to hear someone say "intergalactic" in their review. More importantly, I was NOT expecting for this somewhat depressing fic to serve as a perk for anyone's day! You just made MY day with that! Thanks so much! :D
Ginny always knew there was something wrong with her eyes.Category: Completed Fiction
woot. this chapter was great. narcissa is hilarious i think. when she gets bested by ginny fixing the room i laughed out loud. also i loved when she realized that ginny is actually blind. hopefully she comes to appreciate ginny later, otherwise her getting bested by ginny will be amusing. i love this story!
From their first meeting in Diagon Alley until after Harry defeated the Dark Lord, Draco and Ginny have always been there.Category: Completed Short Stories
If there was a warning for FLUFF, I'd put it in there! :D
awwwww this is so cute! it's such a sweet little fic. aw that made my day right there. great story!
Author's Response: lol thanks! i'm glad you liked it.
It had started with those eyes. Whenever Ginny looked back on the past few months, she always came to this same conclusion. How something so innocent had ended up so horribly wrong she couldn’t say, but she knew, she just knew, that it had started with those damned soulful eyes.Category: Works in Progress
i love it!! anytime pansy and harry get together it's fabulous. i like the start of this. can't wait to see how it pans out!!
Author's Response: Thank you! I think Pansy and Harry together are pretty fabulous as well ... ;)
"All was lost. Dumbledore dead, the Ministry gone, and my family only spared because our blood was too pure to waste."Category: Works in ProgressInspired by Beauty and the Beast. But you'll find no singing teapots or enchanted roses here, I'm afraid. Just two Dark Lords, a country divided, and one girl to damn them all.
excellent. this looks fantastic. i'm excited for what's next!! please update soon!
With great actions come great self-revelations.Category: Completed Short Stories
what a great story. i agree with you on the fact that snape kept his true allegiances hidden, and draco would have respected that.
the quote is from lord of the rings: return of the king. where frodo and sam have just escaped from mount doom and are pretty much waiting to die. it's a great line and it really worked well with your fic.
Author's Response: Thanks! I loved that part about Snape in DH- it made him less of a caricature and more of a tragic antihero, which I have a great weakness for. :) Thanks for the quote, too- if you email me (address is on my profile page) with a prompt/request and a rating, I'll whip you up a fic over the next week. Thanks again! -MBA
Between the Hogwarts Battle and the marriage of Harry Potter to Ginevra Weasley, there was a break-up and a reconciliation. Between the two, there was an interlude with a Malfoy.Category: Completed Short Stories
awwww i thought that was more than pretty well! you lie when you say this is your first attempt. you're much too good at this to be a first timer!!! love love love it!
Author's Response: "That's what she said." Ha ha.
Just because the war is over doesn't mean everything's okay. There are some things magic can't fix.Category: Completed Short Stories
you didn't mess up at all i think it's perfect! this really sounds like what happened after the war in my opinion. and i like that harry died because that's really how i thought it should end anyway. i love that draco helps ginny finally owl her family!! great story i look forward to reading more from you!
Author's Response:
You thought Harry should have died too? Yes, I'm not alone! (And I do say that because I think it would have been better for the plot, not just because the Epilogue annoys me, honest!)
I'm glad you enjoyed my year-long post-war angst tale. ;) I would love to see more reviews from you in the future as well.
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
Daphne and Ginny are absolutely right. We'd be better off in many ways if we let go of Draco. But that wouldn't be nearly as much fun as holding on to him.
I am all for Humperdinck not being a spy but we all know that he wallows in freakish misery no matter what so he probably is.
I am dying to know what happens. The suspense is killing me. At least I start a new semester so I have homework to keep me busy.
Looking forward to the next chapter!!
Author's Response: Yep. But you KNOW that doesn't mean that Ginny is going to actually do it... ;) We'll learn a whole lot more about what's going on with Humperdinck (and everyone else) very very very soon. MUCH more in the next chapter, coming soon!
The War against Voldemort was won eight years ago. Draco is a convicted prisoner in Azkaban. At 24, Ginny is the youngest and first female Minister for Magic. They appear to have nothing in common and no shared history. But things are rarely as they seem and secrets are everywhere.Category: Long and Completed
i like this basis for a story. hurray for women in power!! i can't wait to see how the story line goes!!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm a bit of feminist myself sometimes and I'm so glad you like the idea of Ginny in power. :)
