I am absolutely astonished at the level of research, analyzing, and compiling that has been put into this fabulous essay. I started reading it this morning and was riveted, and read bits of it as I got chances throughout the day. The arguments presented are very informed and convincing... I'm not sure I'll ever truly be able to believe the LP theory, but I've come a long way from having scoffed at it before. I will admit that it is most definitely a possibility... one that is much more likely than I ever imagined. Kudos to both of you for your time and effort on this project... I wish I could like, pay you or something... haha... I feel like you deserve more that just internet recognition for such work. I was thinking more about the article that accused Hermione of love-potioning Harry... that in itself will exhibit remarkable irony and foreshadowing if the LP theory does prove to be correct. Did you find anything interesting in her reaction to that article? Was she particularly flustered or anything? I might have to dig back through the books and check it out myself. If nothing else, this essay has brought to my attention just how intricate JK's masterpieces are... simple things like the Peter Pettigrew allusion in the first book absolutely astound me. Such brilliance. Anyway... I will be looking forward to your next installment very much! Like really a lot. Haha.

Well... the last few days I've intended to write the next chapter to my own story... until I found yours and got distracted. Haha. Imelda expressed surprise that you haven't received more reviews... I agree, considering how well-written and canonically believable your story is. Perhaps it is the lack of smut (as Anise suggested)... but truthfully, I would much rather read this. I find D/G to be the most effective when it begins as a gradual, reluctant friendship. So you are continuing this story into their later years at Hogwarts? Wonderful. I am concerned though... are you going to spend 9 chapters on every day they live through? Lol. That's fine if you do... I'll have reading material for years to come... I'm just afraid you'll lose motivation. ;) But I'm along for the ride, wherever you're taking this story! Good work... keep it up! :)

Well I've finally finished it... and just to let you know I had to pull an all-nighter to finish a paper because of it! Haha. Wonderful read... I love your character portrayal... you have a very solid grasp on high-society and politics, which made the premise of the fic much more believable. Oh, and the scene when Draco returned from battle? Absolutely heart-trending. Loved it.

This was so poetic and beautiful in a very simplistic way. It was easy to identify with as well... it reminded me of just such "passing moments" that I've experienced and held onto a little. Very insightful.

This story absolutely breaks my heart. It's one of the very few I've read that affect me beyond the moments spent actually reading - days later I still get all emotional and achy thinking about it.
The push-pull relationship between Draco and Ginny is so believable not just because of their personalities, but because of the way you write. The angst juxtaposed with humor, lust with chasteness, plot action with reprieve... as a writer/editor by profession, I must say that you're just genius. :)
Anyway, I'm so glad that you haven't abandoned this story. I'm a very, very picky fanfic reader, but I'll certainly be checking often (*cough*daily*cough*) for updates on CiC. :)

There are so many reasons they should walk away from each other and be better off for it, but Draco can't and he won't let Ginny. It's stories like this that keep us mediocre writers humble. As a rule I try to avoid fics rated higher than "sortof naughty"... but this was so highly reviewed that I thought I'd just read the prologue and see if it was any good. An hour or so later, here I am, completely enthralled by your work! I love the emotion in this story... it's different from J.K.'s writing and yet still in character and completely believable. No wonder it's so highly reviewed. Haha. And your story-line is riveting, too... I'll be looking for the next chapter! :)

Goodness... I don't quite know what it is about this story that carries such a spookiness, but I love it! So far the plot looks to be intricate (always good--I really am rather repulsed by story-less fluff) and your characters are developing nicely. I was a little surprised that Harry is still a part of the Weasley family after divorcing Ginny, but I can deal with it. Lol. Keep writing, I'm eager to keep reading! :)

Oh-yes, the Weasleys wouldn’t give up Harry, no way, no how. I’m sure it would take nothing less than him being a drunk and beating their daughter for them to kick him out of the family (since they have considered him a son since, what, he was 12?), and even then it is debatable. XD
Ginny and Harry separated amicably and I think I stated that (not sure if now or in a later chapter), and it is really true in my story. Don’t worry, you will see Ginny in the next chapter, and you will hear from her eventually about the divorce. Sometimes it really sucks updating one chapter at a time because then it leaves readers wondering too long instead of just being able to read on and find out more in a few chapters.
