It's his last summer holiday before leaving Hogwarts and Draco is in agony over missing Ginny. A wonderful discovery in his father's library gives him the power to be with her...but who will pay the price for the ghastly mistake he overlooks?Category: Works in Progress
I'd given up on this story and am sooooo delighted to see that you're continuing it. I just reread it all. Such a pleasure! Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the comments. It means a lot. ;)
Yes, definitely write more...it's a wonderful story!
Author's Response: Thank you for the comments. I won\'t abandon the story, I\'ve just been so busy and had little time to focus on it like it deserved. But I\'m working on finishing as well as posting some other things.
Heaven knew when he could see her again. But there was too much danger, and with the war-torn world, there could only be coded letters delivered by others, and hope for a better future. DG with minor ships.Category: Works in Progress
Thalia!
I just found this wonderful story and am wondering if you plan to update it. You said that it's complete but haven't posted a chapter since 9/05. Do you have it posted somewhere else where we can read it? Thanks!
Marcia
A horrifying experience has been pushed aside, and people try to get on with their normal lives. But that experience soon turns into distant memories. Distant memories soon turn into haunting nightmares. When nightmares turn into reality, what can a certain group of Hogwarts students do to keep a certain redhead from slipping away? D/G story you've never quite seen before. Contains trips to the library, snogging, unexpected romance, and dreaming Gryffindors.Category: Long and Completed
Please update. Please. Please. PLEASE!!! I just reread this for the third time and am dying to read the rest. Thank you!
Author's Response: third time! oh wow! haha trust me, and you really should trust me on this, it\'s on its way :)
Ginny, Draco, Quidditch, and entirely too close quarters. Being forced to train, play, and live with Draco for a season gives Ginny a whole new understanding of and appreciation for the amazing bouncing ferret. Ginny's POV.Category: Long and Completed
Very nice story! More, please!! and soon!
Seriously, thank you.
Draco Malfoy inadvertently comes to Ginny Weasley's assistance during a game of Quidditch. The reverberations from his actions will rock his world for some time to come. Snarky Humor and Romance.Category: Long and Completed
I can't believe that I never reviewed this story! I remember discussing it with you. Oh, maybe over at Portkey! Anyway, I love it and thank you for it. You've done an especially good job of accurately depicting them as teenagers. That's not easy. Fearthainn also achieves that and you are the only two writers I think do it so realistically.
Draco Malfoy learns that some mornings, he should just stay in bed.Category: Completed Short Stories
EXCELLENT!!!! SO WELL DONE! WHAT AN EXPERT YOU ARE!
Ginny Weasley is not the only one affected by the destruction of The Chamber of Secrets and Tom Riddle's diary. But out of the painful fallout of those events an unlikely connection is made. This connection -- dare they call it a friendship? -- will dramatically alter the lives of Ginny and Draco Malfoy. They'll learn the hard way, though, that changing your path in life leads to challenges that even the strongest bonds may not survive.Category: Works in Progress
Nola,
Excellent story. Quite yummy and very very well written. I was not surprised to see that you make a living by writing. Your competence shines through. Please, please keep writing and posting this story. Are there any other d/g's you have hidden away or have posted on any other sites?
Kudos! Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

One other thing: it always puzzles me that Lucius being cruel/abusive to Draco or Narcissa is a staple of fanfic. There's no evidence for it in canon that I can see and, quite to the contrary, Lucius seems to dote on Draco. Hmmm.........
Oh, another thing. The Hogwart's shield says, "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" which means something like 'don't wake a sleeping dragon'. Could that be a reference to Draco's 'awakening' a la Paul Atreides in Dune and helping to save the day in book 7?
Marcia
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the kind words, Marcia. Sorry, I have no other hidden D/G stories -- this is my first foray into HP fic, after years of writing in the Emergency! fandom.
As for Lucius\' abusive nature, I based it on the way he treats Draco in \"Chamber\" when they\'re in Borgin and Burke\'s. (He\'s snarking about Draco not doing as well as Hermione.)Maybe it was my own personal experience coming into play, but I thought that verbal abuse such as that could very easily turn to physical abuse.
I like your theory about the Hogwarts crest foreshadowing Draco\'s awakening and possible salvation. I hope to see it happen in book 7!
Peace!

Ginny Weasley is sent to stay with her grandparents until the war ends, as her parents want to keep her out of harm's way. Her grandparents have another guest, another person in hiding, and a relationship quickly blossoms between them. However, with the war and so many secrets around them, Ginny isn't sure how to make it work. Fluffy occasionally, but things can't always be perfect, can they? Decisions have to be made and consequences dealt with.Category: Works in ProgressFor a fleeting moment, she imagined that they would never hear from their families again, that they would remain together in Tuscany until they were old and gray, with great-grandchildren. Much to her surprise, the thought didn’t make her as sad as she thought it should.
I didn't review the last chapter because the violence disturbed me and seemed very out of character with what you've shown us of Draco up until then. I think the story called for fluffy for the last chapter and instead it was populated with all sorts of dark themes: Ulrich, pimp...
Author's Response: Thanks for your honesty. The story did start off very fluffy & while I'm sure it will have a happy ending, things are going to get bleaker for a bit!
I'm in a pet store, a MUGGLE pet store, and they still find me.Category: Works in Progress
Well, it figures with the way my life has been turning out recently. With my luck I'll end up being Harry fucking Potter's pet ferret. Bugger. --Draco Malfoy
How adorable! And how original! Are you going to continue on with it? You haven't updated since November and that's usually a sign that a writer's abandoned a story or is stuck or having some other sort of problem. Are you still in need of a beta?
This is well worth continuing. Let your readers know you plans.
Gratefully,
Marcia
Author's Response: Sorry, I do have issues with betas, or actually the lack thereof... but i do plan on continuing the story. If anything the story itself is compelling enough for me to want to continue it. Thank you.
A bet, a wanted witch, and a magical contract land Draco in a most unexpected situation. Can his Slytherin soul survive intact or will he succumb to one redheaded witch in bondage? Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. Draco reflexively leaned back, and that’s when she was thrust into his unsuspecting arms.Category: Works in Progress
Thank you! Very hard to predict what will come next. I think that's good: not predictible. More, more!!! Marcia
Also, if you've temporarily given up on Breaking His Heart, how about another chapter of The Slytherin's Witch? That's a great story too.
As long as I'm at it, I'd be curious to get your opinion on a couple of thoughts I've had about Draco. First, the Hogwart's logo translates as don't wake a sleeping dragon. Could Draco be the hero about to awaken in the final book? Second, it's difficult for me to accept that Lucius would be all that awful to Draco. After all, what's left for Lucius if his only child is dead?
Marcia
Author's Response: Hi Marcia!
Yes, I will take a break from this one and write another chapter or two of The Slytherin\'s Witch soon - very soon. I have been neglectful of that one but find the switching back and forth to be much more problematic than I original anticipated. With my recent writer\'s block on this one, I wanted to get to a good stopping point before breaking!
Not sure what you are asking about Draco and Lucius. Email me with a clarification, and I would be more than happy to discuss my humble thoughts with you! -fallenwitch
WoooHoooo!!!!! Yet another great chapter!! I, for one, do not believe for a moment that Ginny's 'marriage' was for any purpose other than to free Draco of the magical contract. Of course she loves him...how could she not!
Oh, in the following, did you mean 'masochist'? That he was torturing himself by looking at her picture?
"Draco found himself staring at that picture, unable tear his eyes away from it. Was he a sadist?"
Love, love, LOVED your stories, fw! More! NOW!!
xo,
Marcia
PS - I do beta for several people in the LOTR fandom and am an admin at quillsandink.com.
Author's Response: Hi Marcia!
**blushes profusely** Yes, a masochist not a sadist!!! What was I thinking? Okay, I\'m the sadist - for what I am putting poor Draco through - and I guess I projected that onto him. For shame! Thanks for pointing that out!!! I just KNEW it! You do beta - I knew it!!! And an admin at quillsandink - hmmm... I will need to check out that site as I am almost internet illiterate. It\'s a miracle I managed to stumble onto this site!
Remember what I said about getting back to The Slytherin\'s Witch? Well, it might not be quite as soon as I originally forecasted - sorry! Having too much fun with this one right now to stop, but I will. I promise. Thanks for your review and your support and your quick \'beta\'! -fallenwitch
Ginny's back at Draco's!!! Yay!!!! Can't wait to read what your devious, devilish, clever little mind has in store for them/us. Thank you for the chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks, Marcia! You are the best! -fallenwitch

This is a great chapter. Thank you for it!
You've revealed just enough of what's going on to keep us all on the edge of our chairs. Just how is this going to turn out? It's nice to read a story that's not predictable!
Author's Response: No, thank you, Marcia. If not for you, who knows what this chapter would have turned out like! -fallenwitch
I LOVE this story and I LOVE this chapter. It's so satisfying to see Ginny telling/showing Draco how much she loves him. Thankyouthankyou.
Author's Response: No, thank you, Marcia, for being such a wonderful friend and awesome, awsome beta! If you hadn\'t put up with two months of back and forth, back and forth, and back and forth, I do believe this fic would have crashed and died an untimely death! -fallenwitch
Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
Oh, so much to think about! Well, first things first.
Thank you for the frequent updates! It really makes a huge difference in terms of staying inside of the story.
I don't know if it was your intent, but I see the strength of the goddess as a central theme in this story. The power of women to change the world for the better, tilt it to the side of good. Hermione's motherlove for her half-dementor rape-child makes him into an individual capable of love. Then Ginny's use of her virginity and body to bend Draco towards her will and use him to defeat the greatest evil, Voldemort, and win the war. I don't understand why so many other reader seem to think that'd be a difficult sacrifice on her part. I think almost every female member of the order would have stepped up.
Anyway, great story! Always makes my day to find a chapter waiting to read with my morning coffee. Thanks again!
Anise! This story continues to be just absolutely fabulous and THANK YOU for it!
It is, however, agony to wait for updates, especially for long periods of time, and it really cuts into the narrative flow and the emotions/thoughts you've evoked in the reader to have long hiatuses [I checked Webster's. That's actually the plural!]. So, not just begging for more rapid updates [although that too!!], but actually sharing with you that the complex nature of this story in terms of both plot and feelings would be better served by a regular schedule of updates. [And I do I know you're not being paid and so we have no right to have any expectations whatsoever, but there is always a contract between reader and writer, a level of trust that they will be kind to one another.] xo! Marcia
Anise, Where are you?! We're dying out here!!!!! Please let us know what's happening with you and your story. Thanks!
Sooooo Bella! Kudos, Anise! That came out of the blue!! ;^) Marcia
Wonderful chapter! I'm so ready for an end to the angstwallow and movement on Draco's part to some modicum of self realization and personal growth. Any hope?
still fascinating! wonderful read [in spite of the cliffies...] you would not believe the things I've been late to in order to read the latest chapter! Blessings upon you, Anise.
